Thanks for that - I’ve not had the shoulder op yet though - that’s next month….ive had to move some videos around as a result (hence this repeated series)….
@@TheMissendenFlyer not to worry, health is always first priority in life, and your followers should understand this, no harm in pulling out old videos from the archives, just gives us a reminder of how far you have come, 🤞🏻for next month.
Hopefully not representative, but have a seen a few. Ex and serving officers were commenting how disgusted they were with the actions of one traffic cop. Let's just say he had a problem with the truth, and the law.
Loving these repeats, my son and I have both completed the Bikesafe course with our local constabulary and have come away better motorcyclists. Its a 1 day course involving classroom and an observed ride by a police motorcyclist and as you show in your videos its a great way to spend a day learning how to be safe on 2 wheels. 👍
I did one of those 10 years ago,by which time I'd already been riding (with a bike as my sole transport) for 20 years, and I'll admit to learning a lot about road positioning that was invaluable.
Another enjoyable video and certainly gives me a reminder of the Covid times, which now seem an age away. Hope you get your shoulder sorted and back on the bike soon.
Nice vid Andy. Sometimes these 'fly on the wall' type recordings can be a bit stilted. The police officers are human just like all of us and it was good to see your charm and general bon ami quickly broke through, in order to make it as natural a meeting of minds, as possible. Both fascinating and engaging.
I was a bronze, silver and gold Star rider instructor in the 80’s and now I ride for please but I see lots of bikers who bring shame on bike riding with dangerous and aggressive riding … This must be policed otherwise restrictions will be imposed on all of us because of these reckless riders who are not uncommon… just looks at the stats …. !!!!
"lots of bikers who bring shame on bike riding with dangerous and aggressive riding..." 🤔"Shame"...WFT? Do dangerous & aggressive drivers, cyclists, scooter riders or roller skaters bring shame on drivers, cyclists, scooter riders & roller skaters? 🤨
Buffalo and bison are in fact different animals. Buffalo have smaller heads that are more cowlike in appearance. Buffalo live in warmer climates than bison.
I was up at the Ponderosa only a couple of weeks ago. 40mph over the Horseshoe Pass is tedious and unfortunately, the food at the Ponderosa isn't marvellous. Turn right after the pass, it's all average speed cameras. Slightly depressing really. I did watch this first time around, what's the reasoning about repeating?
I had to reschedule my uploads due another shoulder operation on the way - I also thought new subscribers who missed this first time may find it interesting.
Sad for the police when over-speeding became a taxation object - very often the limits have nothing to do with safety. No one touches Dangerous old drivers but 5 miles of over the limit costs GBP 200 in Denmark.

@@bjrnhjjakobsen2174 Indeed, but I'm compelled to say that's not the scariest demographic of drivers I regularly have to share roads with. Btw I'm not condoning the speeding cash cow, it the aggressive, uncaring, selfish driving/riding that I want police to clamp down on.
I have found both very old and very young drivers to be the scary ones on the road! I do think there should be a retest when one gets to say 75….just to check reaction times and so on.
Shoulder still not good Andy, 😢

I did IAM and some of our instructors and testers were police and ex police bikers. Loved the training and ride outs with other IAM riders.
Judging by recent RUclips videos of bikers being pulled over in North Wales, I’d say "sinister” was a more apt word than “Fair”.
Really? I’ve not seen those….

Glad you enjoyed the video again, Raymond, and I agree about Bike safe - well worth doing and only takes up a day of your time.
This series has inspired me to buy the Motorcycle Roadcraft book which I'm working through now. 👍
Hi Andy, watching these for the second time they really are worth a second viewing. Thank you.
That’s mi d of you to say - thank you
Why did you not just watch it twice the first time round. What a daft thing to say.

Great vid. The haters will hate. Shows that they are only human trying to do a difficult job policing rules that others implemented.
Agreed....

Thanks 👍

Well done!
Looking forward to the next episode. Good stuff.
Glad to hear that Rob - coming next Saturday!
i love the episodes of riding with the cops - I wanna see more of this! did it get filmed in snwodonia? 💖
Yes it was!

Great 2nd Video Andy 👍 When are you putting up part 3?
Next Saturday then normal service resumes….
lol, so they have had reports of high powered cars causing bother, but breakfast first eh, no rush.

Well done….
Wow what polite friendly police officers not like that here in the states

People missbehave so have spoiled it for others..... hence the cameras.
How on earth do you know make and model of other bikes when they’re coming towards you so fast?

In the UK , dangerous 'old' drivers are simply dangerous drivers that were once 'young' dangerous drivers , age has little to do with it.
