- Hey friends, welcome back! I am almost done with my candle collection series for 2024. Today's video contains what is left from my "random" candle collection. These are candles from companies that I don't have a ton of fragrances from, so not enough to do dedicated brand video. I will share my Kringle candle collection in the next few days. I have one Tarte Tatin that I need to burn. Also, I’m still hoarding my own Colonial White Pumpkin. I will burn it, when I’m finished burning the wax melts I have of it. I miss the old days of Colonial Candle, just as much as the old days of a Yankee.
OMG the Henry Bendle tuberose scent was my favorite! I hoarded it ridiculously!
It was a great tuberose! I never had one but did sniff it out. VERY potent lol!
Would love to have my hands on Yankee's Tarte Tatin, looks delicious. It's the same with Pumpkin Wreath, I've heard good things about it. I'm looking forward to burning Sugared Apple. Colonial Candle is still around, they pop up from time to time at Ross, I think about a month ago maybe two I saw a berry scent from them. Martha Stewart candles abound Marshall's right now and the scent that caught my attention was Fresh Lemon. That place and T.J. Maxx do not have any Homeworx candles right now, I'm disappointed. Kohl's and Target have 80% of the new Yankee's Under The Desert Sun Collection (minus Canyon Pine Lake, of which you can purchase on Yankee's site) and most people seem to enjoy their Aloe & Agave candle. I'd start with Target first since they have a number of Yankee candles. They did have a number of Chesapeake Bay ones, but unfortunately, they took them out. Nice to see a small collection in contrast to my 100+ collection lol.
I haven't bought Colonial in a good while but I still see them. They are totally different. No more oval jars. I still go to the website and look sometimes.
I remember buying Colonial candles at Bed Bath and Beyond back in the day... Those oval jars are awesome and so unique!
Good Morning Melanie! I absolutely love Sugared Apple too by Yankee ❤! They discontinued it and only bring it back for the holidays usually. I have only see it released in it's original format of the classic line like you have. Yankee no longer ships to Canada so that's a huge bummer! I have loved alot of their scents over the years like Cranberry Chutney, Buttercream Frosting, Spiced Pumpkin, Autumn Wreath, Chocolate Layer Cake, North Pole and Christmas Cookies ❤! I haven't tried their new signature line which I have heard that it performs better and is stronger. Hopefully one day I can try them. I remember Colonial Candle! They had some really awesome scents and I loved their unique oval shaped jars. I loved their Vanilla Bean, Cranberry Cosmopolitan, Sweet Tea, Mulberry and a few more that I can't think of! I think they are still around but it's much harder to find them. They don't ship to Canada either. I remember them having a great throw and lots of gourmand scents ❤! I haven't had the pleasure of trying Nest or Voluspa candles as they are just a little too expensive for me. They sure do look gorgeous though 🥰! Maybe one day I will save up to treat myself. Great job on enjoying and using up some of your old beloved scents and brands! I can relate to how that feels as it's the same for me when I dwindle my large collection down too 🤣🙂❤! Loved Sugared Apple. I was tempted to buy some a few months ago when it reappeared but decided no since I also don’t get any performance from the paraffin wax. They did have the wallflower bulb plug-ins too. I also remember colonial candle- I never bought the candles but the ‘simmer snaps’ that were wax melts. I remember buying so many because they were like either .25 or .50 a bar! I still have some. Not as strong but they still have some throw.
You are doing a great job going through the extras!! I am doing the same but I don't seem to make much progress- probably because for every few I burn through new ones find their way into my stash!! I loved Colonial candles back in the early 2000's. I would get them at the BX on base so they were more affordable for me. I also loved the tea, pumpkin and a cranberry one they had. I still Have a jar I use to hold things in my bathroom. Thanks for showing your progress!!

Where is the Yankee Cranberry Chutney? I tried it for the first time last fall based on you mentioning it in a video. Fell in love and 6 backups🤣
Never did pick one up for this holiday season. I had several melt cups still of Cranberry Chutney so I just warmed that instead of buying the candle lol. I will need one this year however.
🙏🙏🙏 review Yankee fresh cut roses signature two wick. It’s is such an amazing candle and throws very well.
I would but that particular rose is a bit too old fashioned for my liking. I have smelled it in the past. I definitely prefer a slightly more modern take on rose myself.
I bought 2 of the new Yankee 3 wicks a couple of weeks ago. They’re more “Spring” fragrances, so I haven’t started burning them yet, but I’m willing to give them a try. I really like the Pink Sands & Coconut Beach fragrances & both of those are available in this new format.
I remember Kringle candle asking if people were wanting them to make the Sugared Apple candle, it was on a Facebook group.
Love love love sugared apple but had to return all my 1 wick jars. They didnt throw at all. I purchased the plug in refills with the fan plug in and oh wow what a surprise. I ordered alot before they sold out online. But I love the signature jars which are room fillers. Havent been shopping much at bath and body. Went back to yankee. More authentic scents. Love your videos and the snoring babies. So cute.
Ugh, that's a bummer. I was wondering how the sugared apple did upon its return. Yankee is a company I keep trying to get into repurchasing but every time I have a cart together I find something from a company I tend to have better luck with lol. I do really need to try their signature line.
Just saw you mentioned sweet iced tea scent and yes I had so many wax melts in that scent and it use to blow me out of the house!
So satisfying to see the collection shrinking! I wish I could make that happen with my wax melts 😂😂😂 I’m working on it! Trying to set some space limits and get back inside of those 😊
You can do it! Trust me, if I can whittle down my various collections to this, you can do it too. I know how hard it is.
@@MrKongsMom thanks for the encouragement! The FOMO is real. And the hoarding! Melting/burning something you know you can never get again 😩 We have to enjoy what we have though!
I love Sugared Apple. I wish they would put it out in the Signature collection.
That would tempt me much more in terms of getting it again. The paraffin is really not my fave. I am probably going to melt what I have left here paraffin wise.
