Christmas Eve is my favorite! We used to always go to my grandmother's house on Christmas Eve for our family get together. My uncle was in the air force and would call to give an update on Santa's location according to his radar. Driving home, my little brother and I would lay in the back seat, talking about how we could see Rudolph's nose in the sky (actually airplanes!). Those are wonderful memories ❤️
My favorite thing for Christmas is a tradition that my daughter and I have been doing together since she was little. One of my favorite things is getting out the recipes that my Mother used to cook and have at home when we went to visit. I find that during Christmas I make things that I don't usually cook year round. When I am baking I can almost feel my Mother's presence in the kitchen with me. It's one way I can honor her memory. She was the very best "country" cook. Yum. Robin C.
My favorite things of Christmas are all the wonderful memories of Christmases past, starting with being a child going to Mass and receiving a box of candy and an orange from the Priest, to being in a large family and having an uncle show up dressed as Santa Claus, to having my own family and hiding some of the presents so well that even I couldn’t find them, and watching my husband throw the tree and the lights out the front door because he couldn’t get it to stand up straight ! That was probably the first time I decided to get an artificial tree, but there’s nothing like a live tree to make it smell like Christmas ,which also reminds me of the time we came up Pennsylvania and bought live trees and took them all down to our southern families.”

Now tomorrow if I’m not feeling the weight of everything, I might say Christmas lights, I love them. The bright happy cheer. They make me happy. But today it’s just the music.

My favorite thing at Christmas is sending my children on a hunt using word unscrambling hints! More fun for me than it is for them! It is usually the gift they want the most, or a big surprise they had no clue would be there! 🎄🎅🏼🎁🦌♥️
My favorite thing about Christmas is picking out a new Christmas ornament for each of my four children. My husband and I started this tradition when my oldest was born almost 25 years ago. Thank you for your wonderful program and giving to the cross-stitch community. It is so needed at this time of many being isolated without their normal girlfriend time. "Here are a few of my favorite things"....... when my kids laugh, when the snow falls, when my husband hugs me (not now though), I simply remember this will get better one day and then I won't feel so bad!!!!!!! God Bless and Stay Safe!!!!
My favorite holiday thing is sitting in my favorite chair in the dark and looking at the lights on the Christmas tree. It is so relaxing.
Every year she gets to pick out a new ornament at the store for just her and every year when we open the ornament box we get to reminisce while putting them on the tree. Happy Holidays!
My favorite thing about Christmas is getting together with our family. We'll be outside masked up this year but that's ok. It'll be one we'll never forget.
You ladies are so generous. Thank you for the Christmas stocking fun. The white elephant has become one of the favorite things in our family. Everyone from 10 years old to 85 years young participates. It's a lot if fun and laughter.

My favorite things about Christmas is the music! I started in June this year. It takes away my stress. It sets the tone. It’s keeping me going this year. 2020 has just about beaten me down to dust. Christmas Choir music is my favorite thing. The blending of voices the sweetness of singing. That’s my favorite. Now tomorrow if I’m not feeling the weight of everything, I might say Christmas lights, I love them. The bright happy cheer. They make me happy. But today it’s just the music.
My favorite thing about Christmas is giving meaningful gifts to my friends..have to find the one gift..this year due to lack of $$, I'm giving my time to my roommate to deep clean her bedroom and go through our storage unit..4 hours per month for a year. To my good friend..deep clean her house and reorganize her garage. Since I work in the kitchen at all elementary school, I'm sending Christmas cards to everyone who works at the school with the children with a personalized thank you note in each card...about 60 cards.
