Oh my goodness. All those BAPs! Amazing. I would never get those done but you are just cruising right along with them! You are my stitching hero.
Thank You Kim :)
I am soo happy to begin another year with you!!! I really loved your WIP parade!! Stitching is my happy place too and you have made it even so much happier these almost 5 years now (wow..that went fast!). I began stitching The Stitching Shelf with you in early 2020 and am slooowly making progress on the upper left side. Know that I’ll continue for a while longer to stitch enough to make into a project bag. There’s NO WAY I’ll be able to finish, but I’m happy with my decision. I’m ready to finish all my Perpetual Calendar months on the backing, but it’s sooo cold here in our cabin in the Smokey Mountains, I’m waiting for warmer weather! I love seeing yours in the background! Can’t wait to see your planning session for some guidance on how to organize for the new year! Happy stitching and many blessings to you and your family!
Thank You Susan!!!!!!! So glad I can add a little bit to your happy place :) I love your plan to stitch enough for a project bag, so smart. And I hope your weather gets a little warmer so you can finish the perpetual calendar :)
I love your project selections. You are so blessed that your daughter participates on your projects. It must be so special to pick up something she has worked on.
What an amazing WIP parade. Your chart choices are absolutely fabulous, so intricate. Your eye for color is so impressive. I do not have that gift. Your stitching is so beautiful. This has to be one of the best end of year WIP parades I’ve seen. Thanks so much for sharing. Beautiful work. ❤
Thank You Kay! Such beautiful words :)
What fabulous projects Brenda! I love your color change choices! The La D Da house on agave is especially striking! I have the pattern but haven’t started it yet. You give us all such great inspiration….❤ Thank you!
I just love your pandemic sampler. I am planning on starting one this year. I have so much to learn first! This year we have gotten a lot of snow so I will have a lot of time to learn 😊
Brenda, it was SO SO great to see another 'Sleeping Beauty/Princess' as I have now completed 2 of them! Yes, both were matted and framed, and sadly one was lost in a house fire.....but the family all got out with their lives. The other is in my older sister's house.....probably coated in cigarette nicotine stains. I have always LOVED doing anything by Mirabilia Designs.
Richard
Thank You Richard! Wow, two of them!! So sorry one was lost to a fire, but so glad everyone got out ok. It is one of my favorite Mirabilia's because of the beautiful colors :)
I like that you hold long enough the wips for us appreciate the pattern and the stitching, amazing wips you have 😊 Happy stitching 🪡🧵
You are very welcome :)
Hi Brenda. Thank you for this amazing parade! I'm surprised and impressed that you only have 2 older WIPs. On second thoughts, I do remember hearing you talk about taking old pieces out of craft prison. I guess you're pretty much caught up! Love seeing you so relaxed. Hanging out for your plans video: they're my favourites.😁⚘️
Thank You Margaret!!! Yes, the older they get, the more I am motivated to finish them, lol!
Happy new year, Brenda. I knew I was goingto be up late tonight so I enjoyes two visits with you back to back. Thanks for starting your year with us. I look forward to more visits as your stitching is lovely, as are you. ❤
Thank You Patti! And Happy New Year! Wow, you must have stayed up really late, lol!
Absolutely love the variety of your WIPs! Only up to snowy day WIP and have to go out. Will be rewatching your WIP parade later. Very inspiring 😊
I enjoy the range of the variety of products you stitch. I enjoy your Flosstube so much.Thank You.

As always...such beautiful needle work! My stitching spot is my happy place also! I have recently had bilateral cornea transplants and looking forward to my visit for glasses rx....until then I am plying my needle slowly. Thank you for the the videos!!

Thank You Karen! Wow, so happy you are looking forward to better vision!!!
Autumn cat is looking amazing! So fun to watch your WIP parades. Thanks for keeping me company as I convalesce. Looking forward to the other two videos!
Thank You Sharon! Every time you show your cat it makes me want to get mine out and work on it :) So happy to have visited you while you were convalescing :)
Im doing the quick stitch of the Aimee Stewart book shelf. Mine is the lady in the window with the hot air balloons outside that you showed. Its really pretty. I dont know how you keep up with all the projects. Thats really impressive!
Thank You! Ohhhh, I bet yours is gorgeous!
I am amazed that you put everything in your menu. You are an inspiration. I have finished sleeping princess. And colors of water. I did purchase the book building. We’ll have not started it yet. I do enjoy thinking about it though. Lol you have me doing a snow stitch. I am doing Falling Snow. We are a out to get predicted massive snow this weekend. I see lots of progress this next week. Indiana
Thank You Karen! Congrats on finishing Sleeping Princess and Colors of Water, they are large ones, but soooo pretty! Dreaming about future stitching is the best :) Falling Snow will be perfect for snow days, sounds like it will get lots of progress this weekend :)
Happy Anniversary 🎉. I love to stitch samplers in winter. (See what I did there lol). Thanks for your kindness.
Loved seeing all your WIPS. They are all gorgeous
Just found your channel-loved seeing your WIP’s
I love all your color choices for the long dog’s and other monochromatic designs! You have some great WIPs! Can’t wait to hear your plans for 2025!
Thank You Dee!!
Always fun seeing all your projects. x
Amazing WIP parade. I love the diversity of your projects. So many huge pieces!
Your stitching is an amazing. I love the variety in your choices of designs to stitch.
That was a great wip parade. I’m doing the HFLM 12 days of Christmas on one piece of fabric also, but I’ve just started day 1. I am in awe of the Afghan projects!
Thank You Joanne! It is going to take a while, but I love working on it! So glad you are joining me!!
You have some beautiful work! I would say you are a serial starter. I think I’ve only got 5 started. I am not however such an accomplished stitcher! My eyesight prevents me from stitching on really small count fabric.
Thank You!! Yep, you could call me that, lol. Five pieces is a great number, and clearly brings you joy :)
Your WIPs are just magnificent! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing. ❤ Happy New Year.
You are welcome Linda, and Happy New Year as well!
Just Finished Winter Woods!!
Happy New Year, Brenda and family. I love your wip parade every year.
Thank You Jennifer! WIP Parade season is my favorite!!
Yay! Happy New Year! 🎉

Thank you Brenda. Love it all. Amazing stitches. This is the first time I've been inspired to do Zimmerman Coverlet. I think I need to start that stat.

So many great wips. I got reminded of patterns and/or kits that I’d love to start. Pam
Thank You! Sorry to enable, lol!
Happy New Year. I love to watch your channel because you don't do a lot of unnecessary talking.
Also all your projects are beautiful
Thank You Nina :)
Stunning work! Thanks for taking the time to share :)
Wow! You are amazing! As a beginner I don’t know where to start. There’s not a cross stitch store anywhere near me. Where do you get your patterns and supplies? How do you find the classes? I did a few ornaments a few years ago but nothing lately. What’s your advice on where to start?
Your wip parades are amazing.
Hi Brenda! Loved your WIP PARADE today! Happy New Year! 🎉🥂🥰🇨🇦
Thank You Marilyn! And Happy New Year!

Thank You :)
Loving the variety! And how brave you are, “I’m just doing this with that and not using the kit floss!” I’m doing the black old fashioned sampler too, but your opalescent sounded fabulous. Can you show that anyway please?
Thank You Nicola! Yes, I will find it and put it in the bag and show it next time I show that piece :)
💚🌻💚🌻
Visiting with my old friends- your wips! I guess following you for so long, it’s fun to revisit.
Thank You Donna! I feel the same way about other flosstubers I have watched for many years, the pieces definitely feel like old friends and I love seeing how far they have gotten :)

🧡🧡
Thank You!
All those beautiful big projects! I loved your wip parade❤❤❤
Thank You Beth!!! I loved yours as well!!!!!!
Hi Brenda, thanks for the WIP parade! A few questions - how many q-snaps do you own? Lol it appeared a lot had q-snaps on them. For Pandemic do you think one spool of the over dyed sulky would be enough? Of the green that you shared. I tried finding the Facebook group for the free pattern of Autumn but couldn't find it. Can you please tell me the name of that Facebook group? All the best for the New Year! Looking forward to your plans video! Happy stitching! Lori
Hi Lori!!!!! I love your videos and look forward to them!!!!! I own more far more q-snaps than one person should, lol!!!!!! But they do come in very handy when I want to switch projects and am too lazy to move the q-snaps, lol. For Pandemic I believe I originally figured three spools would be enough, but I bought four just to be sure, lol. I am still on the first spool right now, but am nearing the end of it. So sorry the Facebook group is so hard to find! Here is the link: facebook.com/groups/455237970819687
Projects I meant to say not products.
You have some beautiful projects. I really enjoyed your WIP parade.
Thank You Pamela!
All your stitches are so beautiful. I love your WIP parades. I can't imagine having that many Q Snaps. How in the world do you decide what to stitch on?
Thank You Susan! I have far more q-snaps than one person should own, lol. But it is handy when I switch projects. I usually make a plan at the beginning of each month of what I want to work on that month and on which days.
As always, another awesome video Brenda!!
Thank You!! :)
Gorgeous projects!!!
Thank You Kathy!
Hello, thank you fr posting your YT. Have wonderful New Year I 2025❤.
Thank You Sheryle!
Happy new year
Happy New Year Sandra!!
You mentioned in the video that you would put the colors you used for the door of the Hobbit House in the description box but I can’t seem to locate them. Would you be able to provide those colors please? I’m also stitching this series as one piece. It is my 2025 BAP. Also, how many stitches did you leave between each block? Thanks in advance.
Hi Kay!! I'm so sorry! I will go and add that to the description box right now!!! I used DMC 986 and 987 for the hobbit door. And on my piece I left three stitches between each block :)
@@Handworkmaniac Got it. Thank you.
Your stitches are so pretty. I want to start an Afghan blanket all the time. Could you show the back of your project? How would you like to fully finish it?
Hello! Yes, I would be happy to show the back of it next time I show it. The pattern came with directions on how to finish the edges. If I remember right you sew around the edge with a sewing machine about 3-4 inches in from the edge and then fringe the edges. I try and keep the back tidy as I am stitching, and make sure all the threads are secure, but the back will just show when it is finished. I would guess most people will display it on the back of a couch or hang it on a quilt display rod, and not actually use it to stay warm.
Your projects are beautiful as always. May I ask please. You stitch on so many different counts and cloth choices. Are you always using the same count needle or what is your favorite size? Thank you!
Thank You Leann!! When I am working on 24ct/14ct I use a 24 needle, on 26ct/16ct I use a 26 needle and on 36ct/18ct or anything higher (smaller) I use a 28 needle :)
Thank you so much. Your stitching is so inspiring. Happy New Year!
Bellissimo
Thank You Flavia!!
Where did you purchase the banding fabric for the Jardin Privet project? Is it long enough for the project?
Hi Carrie! I purchased mine at my local needlework shop several years ago. I am not sure if I said the right thing in the video, but it is 24ct linen banding, 4 3/4 inches wide with a decorative yellow trim. The pattern is 76 by 565 stitches. Since I am stitching mine over one thread my stitching will be just over 3 inches wide and 23 1/2 inches long.
You have so many bags! Where did you get them, they are beautiful.
Hi Jerilane! I have collected them over the last 20-30 years. Some from craft stores, some from Etsy.com, some purchased at retreats, some were made for me by friends, and a few I made myself.
Hi - I fear linen, can you do a close up DEMO of 1 over 2 linen please? so we can see what you do, what you mean when you tell us what it is, please?
I hope this helps but any time she’s a number over a nother number. She means number of gloss threads over number of fabric threads
So over two means counting two squares to make a stitch. So a 4 by 4 of squares ends up being one stich when doing over 2 fabric threads
💜💜💜
Thank You Kay!
