I have a 7 year old Granddaughter that I am showing how to stich and this would be wonderful for her!! I must look for more of these for her to stich on, especially in pillow form. Liz, my goodness!! You girls are such fun to watch. I’m sure you ran into some snow in Ocean City, MD on your trip. So unusual to see snow at the beach. Salty Yarns is my favorite cross stitch shop in the area. Have fun there! I’m only in DE/ MD area in the summer. Luckily I spend winters in Florida.
Thanks for the video ladies. The needle info is good. My mom stitched some when I was growing up and I always thought her pieces looked so nice. After she passed, I bought all the stuff to stitch this really neat looking Halloween witch. I loved what it was going to look like. It didn’t take long for me to be so disgusted with the whole thing. Why? Because I had no idea that I was using the wrong kind of needle. It was so sharp that it was hard to get it in the “hole” without snagging threads from other stitches. What a mess. Now almost 20 years later thanks to RUclips I know. 😂
I use my needle minders for my scissors all the time. I keep one for the needles and one fir my sickies as I use my Lori Holt Bee in my Bonnet stand. My scissors are small.

I remember hearing that we, as humans, are ‘programmed” to see faces. Maybe that’s why so many of us saw the woman’s face before seeing it as three birds. Interesting modern pattern.
