The flower in your long frame is a white lilac. The more common ones are lavender. The big green plant is an umbrella plant, technically schleffera. They can get 15’ tall!
I just wanted to thank you for giving me permission to do spring right now. It’s so gloomy here on Whidbey island Washington this time of year and the only thing I hate about living here. I’m going to buy some plants tomorrow and redoing my living and bedrooms. I also suffer from seasonal depression since moving up here five years ago and I love your suggestions. ♥️
Hi! I live on Whidbey too and you are right it has been a little gloomy. I needed this spring lift also. But the says are getting longer and that helps me.
I live in Concrete WA, not far from you. I've lived here my entire 61 years of life and this winter seems harder than ever. I had to buy myself a light for light therapy, you might need to try it. Spring is coming. 😊
Hi, you're fortunate to have a strong n willing husband to help you put up and take down. Most men don't want to help with that. I picked a great hubby, like you, Jami, as he helps me tremendously😊
Hi Jami and Zeb. I loved how you restyled your home without spending a lot of money. Jami, you have a real talent with design! Thank you for the ideas.
The bright pillow screams Debi Beard, That long pic is a lilac branch, its from the 80's, The sheep print is cute in that frame. Everything looks fantastic!❤
My husband was laughing at me as I was talking to you saying “yes that is perfect”or “Zeb is right, put that tall pitcher in the far corner” like you could magically hear me from Minnesota. Love the live plant touches
Love that you jump into spring….i do the same. It’s so nice to have a bright and cheery home during the dreary winter months. Your home is beautiful and just goes to show you don’t have to spend a fortune to redecorate and brighten things up. ❤❤❤
t a great haul. You guys got some AWESOME stuff. I love everything you got. The picture you hung on the glass door/Window looks great and I love the picture you put in the other long frame with that beautiful picture above it. Everything looks gorgeous in your home. TFS.
I love how your 2 pictures look.. they're perfect there!❤❤ I'm one who also jumps directly to Spring after Christmas. I'm so glad you're not into what other utubers call "winter decorating" We all need life around us especially during the worst of winter! Green plants bring in that life..I love it!🌿💚You did a great job on your Spring refresh!!
Winter decorating can sometimes be drab. Spring decorating for me is really our everyday decor. It’s my favorite style and we leave it up most of the year. ❤️
Yes!! Me,too.. I'm "Spring" except for Fall & Christmas.. I just have to have green plants inside! It feels like happy decor. I was so glad to see you jump right in today.. we all needed a fun video today I think. Thank you 💚🩷🌿
I have seasonal depression as well, it is so bad. I do flipping to sell and have started a line of purses, that I sell. It helps to keep the depression at bay.
I really enjoyed watching you decorate your beautiful home for Spring ! You both have such great style 👍 I really like videos like this ! I really like the paintings ! Wow great thrift finds ! The chair is so nice too !
You need one of those flowering plants on the little white table next to the chair/door. Carry some color over there and it will be happy next to the window 😊
I’m with you about the seasonal depression and bringing spring 8n early! I live in Chicago, originally from Tennessee where a switch is flipped March 1 and everything is blooming, here it’s almost June, and I don’t like to go out in the cold, especially the wind. Can’t wait to see what you come up with h!
You are so right about plant care. My mom lives with us and waters plants once a week and rearranges them each season and they have survived for more than 5 years
I take glass out of all my prints and add matte texture with either a matte texture medium or matte mid podge. It protects it and makes it look more like paintings with brush strokes and texture.
I always take my Christmas Decor down day after Christmas I get done with it and just want my stuff back in but I usually thin out❤ my stuff and save space for my new thrift finds ! I don't decorate that much for Halloween or Thanksgiving or Valentine's Day or Easter Christmas is my favorite ! ❤
I found out that when you have big pots for your plants is to water them with ice cubes. Just maybe 5 or 6 so that the water doesn't go to the bottom of your plants and get moldy at the bottom of the pot. The ice melts slowly and lets the water slowly water them. Just lay the cubes about 2" from plant base if closer then it makes the plant base too cold. You only have to do this about once a week in cooler months and maybe twice during hotter months. Works for me and I have more luck with my plants. I have no green thumb but this works .
Be careful with the plant in the soup terrine..I guess it has no drainage holes so you might need to raise the plant above the bottom of the terrine or it will rot.
This video is just what i needed to relax & watch after having a root canal today! A great start to the New Year! Hope your holidays were amazing! Keep up with the adventures! I love tagging along ❤
Sorry Zeb didn’t film it. It’s just outside the family room. The back yard isn’t very pretty right now during the winter. But the kids still love to swim.
I like the color of the colander. It's so vibrant. Your place looks great. May I ask what the temperature is that the kids are in the pool!!? Brrrr, lol. Thanks for sharing your makeover.
The set of 3 matching baskets in your family room, would the 2 on shelf fit on the peg rails just below them? I noticed the baskets had lil cut outs on top for possibly hanging. Just a thought!!
I was at Goodwill today and saw a collection of about 10 small taper candlesticks. They were ridiculously prices at $4.99 and $3.99 each. I probably would've paid $50 for the set. I think they should've been priced at $2.99 or even $1.99 each. The prices are just way too high - it's not fun anymore.

🇨🇦Living in the Pacific Northwest is tough in the winter…Hang in there!!!!! Thinking of you in Victoria BC❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦

Did the crock have a drainage hole?
Love the colander and scale. Love the stacked pictures too. Thanks for giving a boost to after holidays dullness.

I like all of your videos but this one was extra fun! Love seeing how to rework in a home not just the items reworked.
Hi Jami and Zeb. I loved how you restyled your home without spending a lot of money. Jami, you have a real talent with design! Thank you for the ideas.
It takes two, to bring such a good eye to design both with color and varied shapes! Blessed days!
I’m so glad you posted today. I needed this 😊
I've said this before, I love that you all complete the projects quickly. Very inspirational. Thx for sharing ideas.
@@lindakolin8228 thank you ❤️. Our time is limited so we try to be efficient
The bright pillow screams Debi Beard, That long pic is a lilac branch, its from the 80's, The sheep print is cute in that frame. Everything looks fantastic!❤
Your 1st plant is a Schefflera..indirect sunlight, drought tolerant, repot every few years...water roughly every 10 days. Good luck!
Schefflera*

It is such a joy to see a couple enjoy each other & share their passion of decorating with thrift finds.
2:49 the big round mirror & the clock are both pretty awesome! 13:51 the scale & colander are so cute!
Lemons in the colander. 😊
You two are amazing! I love this thrifty makeover!
Great tips on getting some color in the house after the Christmas decorations are gone.

Love the shelf in the kitchen. Just a little color change just takes you to another season. Good job!
I have seasonal depression as well, it is so bad. I do flipping to sell and have started a line of purses, that I sell. It helps to keep the depression at bay.
Oh purses! That sounds fun
What a great design " perk up ". I thrifted a blue colander just like yours about 3 or 4 years ago. I really enjoy using it.
Love the way the pictures look, stacked one on top of the other. Beautiful!
I love your house. I would love to see house tour of your whole house and barn and shop and everything that would be great. It would be fun.
34-minute video, yes, please!!! I am so addicted. 🙂
Love how you decorate your home ❤ Very inspiring, thank you 🙏

Oh Chicago is tough. Long winters. And weeks without sun ❤️
@@JamiRayVintagewind chill is zero today but it’s sunny!
Really fun challenge video, the chair is very pretty, love how you styled the other things
Love it!!! Maybe put rolled up dish towels, linens or aprons in the blue colander to tie in the spring colours. ❤
That picture looks like a lilac bush stem !
I love watching you guys. Thanks for taking us along. Beautiful home
"Airport" is a book from the 70's. It was made into a movie with an all star cast. Helen Hayes won an Oscar for best actress.

Your home is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
I agree on shelf decorating..you have to edit and re-edit. 😊
I love the makeover! I also love your thrift stores there and the prices. Ours here, south of Dallas, are unbelievable.
Love the finds! Looking like Spring! 😊
Oh I always love your show! It’s so uplifting
🌷Looks fantastic!
Loved this video. So fun !!
I loved this video, you both have such a great sense of style.

Ty for the inspiration!!
Good choices. I like the blue scale, pictures, Brocante has been my favorite transfer.

I was going to keep wintery stuff out, but I think I need Spring stuff out in January & February (the gloomy months).
It all looks beautiful. Im inspired BUT I live in Minnesota for Petes sake!
Jamie! Zep is right put the pears in the colander!
Wish my husband was that willing and helpful! Jen is a keeper. Decor on a budget- is there any other way?😂❤️
That thrift store. 😮. I can’t believe the things you found and how cheap the prices were.
Ove ypur home snd how its furnished abd decorated. But windows.......I wpuld have to have something to close at night. Sharon in Texas
You are an awesome couple happy New Year.
I'm a curtain or drapes lady. I would have to have something on my windows. You do have a lovely home.
I love the open look. But we do have curtains in our rooms.
I love your home.
Nice finds
I love the decorations they are beautiful and I love that Trey❤

Really enjoyed this type of video. Happy New Year!
It’s a unbreller tree and it will shoot but very slowly or just put it in soil and will also shoot
Love these thrift shop episodes!!!
It’s so funny how your husband goes for the stuff that you put back
Nice job❣️

Yes I love these episodes!
Your house looks amazing.
Thx for the inspo!
The stainless steel bowl for the pioneer woman scale was there at 6:45
Ha. We missed it. Jami likes the white bowl better anyways.
That looks really pretty in that tureen
Looks like a Schefflera plant or tree on the first one
Fun colors! Love your farmhouse style. Kids are swimming? Never saw your pool..lol very fun
Happy thrifting!
Sorry Zeb didn’t film it. It’s just outside the family room. The back yard isn’t very pretty right now during the winter. But the kids still love to swim.
Aww..good for them! @JamiRayVintage
Just wanted to know how these plants are going to drain water cause I love this idea...😊
They aren’t. Probably why my plants don’t live. But I don’t water that often. Maybe every 10-12 days. My fiddle fig doesn’t drain and it’s lived.
Great changes!!
The kids can tidy up before leaving 😊
I like the color of the colander. It's so vibrant. Your place looks great. May I ask what the temperature is that the kids are in the pool!!? Brrrr, lol. Thanks for sharing your makeover.
Our pool is heated to 85 when the kids swim. We keep it pretty warm over Christmas break because the whole neighborhood likes to come over.
You need drainage holes for that plant
Plants are nice but the pots need holes for drainage.
Great haul, great haul! Love the chair, please don't paint....but Great haul!!!!😅❤❤
The set of 3 matching baskets in your family room, would the 2 on shelf fit on the peg rails just below them? I noticed the baskets had lil cut outs on top for possibly hanging. Just a thought!!
We use the hooks for pool towels so we don’t really keep anything on them. And the kids swim year round. But that would be cute!
