This is your Battlefield Portal first look gameplay, including everything you need to know in 14 minutes! Battlefield Portal will incorporate the 7 maps from All-Out Warfare in addition to 6 classic maps from previous games that have been optimized for next-gen quality and graphics. This includes El Alamein and Battle of the Bulge from Battlefield 1942, Valparaiso and Arica Harbor from Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Caspian Border and Noshahr Canals from Battlefield 3! In Battlefield 2042, the world is on the brink. Shortages of food, energy and clean water have led to dozens of failed nations, creating the greatest refugee crisis in human history. Among these Non-Patriated, or No-Pats, are families, farmers, engineers - and even soldiers. Amidst this crisis, the United States and Russia draw the world into an all-out war. This channel is all about FPS gameplay, sniping, tips & tricks and guides! At the moment I'm really enjoying playing Call of Duty Warzone whilst we wait for Battlefield 6 gameplay, details and information. I mainly do Battlefield 5 gameplay and Battlefield sniping on all the different games: Battlefield 5, Battlefield 1, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 3. I often play solos, duos, trios and squads. I have over 1000 hours experience in every Battlefield and I hope to play more FPS games in 2021. I hope you enjoy my sniper gameplay and Warzone gameplay as much as I do making it.
THIS is the innovation and outside the box thinking games NEED!
it's basically how most fps games were released in the 90s with a full scenario editor. at least it's easier to do that. the lines of code in unreal editor to make your scenarios as a kid was challenging
Call of Duty won’t recover from this. Battlefield is making games for grown men while CoD is making them for middle school kids

Lets hope this is expanded on. For those of us that lived through the bf2 mod tool era,, we know how game changing that was! It was a incredible time to be a bf fan. If they eventually add a map editor to this so the community could create maps this could be the hugest bf news in 20yrs!

Or a great battle royal battlefield mode. Recreating modes from previous battlefields: gungame, domination, tank or air superiority. It’s a great tool. I wish there were some tools to create our own maps from the assets but I guess I am asking for too much. It’s already huge.z

This is brilliant. With the removal of HUD, friendly fire, and removable weapon attachments, players can make a more semi-tactical shooter like Hell Let Loose, but in the Frostbite engine. Absolutely amazing stuff from DICE 🙌

it'll also be great just to play the maps with only the stuff from the original BF game they're from, so you can get a taste of what a remastered 1942/BC2 and BF3 would be like! i hope they add more classic maps over time!

I think if people will actually like and play on those maps consistently then we can expect them to add previous maps with each (I hope) season (big update). If the demand will be there I am pretty sure dice will supply those maps to us
Weapons from mixed time periods, great game engine, remastered maps and a heck of a lot of "Only In Battlefield Moments". The developers really forgot to switch off creative mode and I love it!

DICE decided to take a step back (BFV) to go 2 steps forward (BF2042&Portal) if they can bring back just more and more maps from previous iterations, no doubt this will be a slam dunk!

The imbalanced scenario you gave actually sounds incredible, like a hold your ground type scenario, hold one position, say a house with some windows and have say 50 tangos rush your position. Man the possibilities with this, I don’t think I’ve been this excited for a game in like 10 years

I feel like the two WW2 maps for Portal were already being made for BF5’s cancelled tides of war but they just decided to port it over. BF5 deserves this new content imo.

This is simply insane..it doesn't matter if you are a battlefield fan or not...if you are a gamer..this is a gem. It brings back so many memories..i remember when me and my friend launched a tank to a heli, I was so happy..this modern meets Gold is fantastic..
Its a shame i can't buy this(broke), gonna miss playing this but i got westie for all the gameplays.
I love how the hud around the health bar changes color along with health as it goes down or heals! Never noticed before!

@@ABIADAB That comes this September? Oh I am already aware. The thing is EA has a track record of somehow ruining their games entirely. Battlefield 4 on launch date was horrible and by the time they fixed, that game didn't get much light of day due to other games. Just now it had the biggest playerbase it has seen in a looooong time. Battlefield Hardline, although not well received, that's probably one of my favorites despite being buggy at launch. Battlefield 1 has no campaign which was a bummer, the game got boring to me. Battlefield 5 definitely wasn't it. If Battlefield 2042 doesn't follow those mistakes of previous Battlefield games and Battlefront 1 and 2, this game will be bought, period.

So happy you said we can make PvE experiences. I miss the co-op missions from BF3. Would love to play those type of modes again.
The possibility is endless. Extraction mode, where you have to fight your way into a enemy held position and get the VIP to the secure chopper or plane.
You can even make it hardcore or even stealth like.
Loved playing scenarios like that on bf2 back in my clan days ..was awesome , tense and fun.
At the end of the "extraction" game mode ,with clan mates we had a knife fights on a building roof lol

I was thinking of that too. Or even a “Find the sniper / assassination” No respawns, One sniper vs 16 or so, where the sniper has to take out a VIP.

Also, I hope the weapons from previous games are balanced pretty well across eras, so there aren't too many problems with WW2 weapons vs BF3 weapons.
Can I say How Funny it is that they used Battlefield 1942, INSTEAD of BFV. Now THAT Shows how badly received that game was.
Or maybe they used it becuase BF 1942 is much older and many people didnt play it? They also used BF 3 and i wouldnt say BF 4 was badly received...

There hasnt been anything like this since BF2 mod tools were released. That was one of the HUGEST turning points in the history of all fps gaming! It literally changed the face of fps gaming with community content like the bf2 Project reality Mod leading to even full new games like SQUAD being created. For those of us that lived in that bf era and experienced that kind of community made content,, this is truly beyond impressive! I hope this works well and in time has the options of a full blown mod tools release. This could, ,,, hands down be the biggest thing to happen to the BF franchise since way back in the glory days of BF2 on pc!!!

As my first Battlefield game was BF4 I'm pretty excited for this. I often hear players say that the best Battlefield games ever were BC2 and BF3 - both games I never played. I thought I would never get to experience what made those games so popular but now I can!

It took a separate gamemode in a Battlefield set in 2042 to launch with historically authentic/realistic ww2 uniforms, it took bf5 2 years to do that and costed in game currency

It would be awesome if we can mix and match different eras of vehicles with any faction. It's been a while since I've been hyped about a BF game, and it feels damn good!! :)

I think this game is a true example of a true fan letter. Battlefield is the only game with the most unique experience ever in any FPS game ever.
Over the years I hope they bring back all the gamemodes, vehicles, weapons, gadgets, settings, factions, and maps (vanilla and dlc) from 1942, Vietnam, Hardline, BC2, 3, 4, and 1. You could literally play ANY battlefield you wanted forever. This game will never die because there will always be new game modes and bots to fill the lobbies.
Looking absolutely amazing. Can't wait to play it
Now this begs a few questions:
1) Will we have access to different game-modes like i.e. Frontlines from BF1, etc. or could we create our own ones?
2) Can we set limits to how many of certain weapons are allowed per server?
3) How much can we limit loadouts in general?
4) Can we create our own classes?
5) How deep will weapon customisation go, can we edit bullet velocity, bullet drop, damage, damage drop off, etc. etc.?
Smart move, all they have to do is create the assets and leave the game mode creation and balancing to the players, which is what we've always dreamed of anyways. It's a brilliant idea all around, can wait to use it!
Hopefully down the line they add a map editor, but that VIP fiesta sounds awsome. I'm hyped
