I know, based on experience, that the drug doesn't change the person, rather the person changes how the drug affects them. I worked 10-hour days with a two-hour commute, still worked out most days (depending on how my knees felt because I didn't allow myself to sit all day,) I cooked clean, and smoked throughout my daily routine. It's your mentality. I mean... everyone is different and you have to focus on yourself, not others. What worked for me was taking breaks from smoking and evaluating my performance to change what I wanted to change while smoking. If you don't like how you are while you're high... then change how you act when you're high. I've realized what works for me and that I don't value many of the things other people do. This video isn't introducing anything new, it's just a reminder, and I do need reminders when i'm focused on other things. I always put this perspective out there because I don't fit into the stereotypical stigma that draws a correlation between marijuana usage and laziness, lack of motivation, drive, etc. I'm the kind of person that will smoke a bowl and go out for a run. Wasting a high is a waste of a high.

Hey I agree I feel like if I’m reading or watching a motivational video then weed really helps me to understand it better and feel more connection to that experience. I don’t think enough people use it to its advantage which is to fully immerse you in an experience. You just have to be intentional about how and when you indulge. Unfortunately a lot of people use it to distract themselves and become dependent on it as an escape from reality.

2 weeks sober here. Had 8 months a few years back before I convinced myself that just smoking one time will be fine. LIES‼️ was trapped back in daily addiction for almost 5 years. Not being able to string together more than 3 or 4 days of sobriety at a time even though I wanted to quit. Finally have broken out of that BROKEN MINDSET and started working full time on personal development and getting my mind, body and spirit right 🙏💯 STAY STRONG AND REMEMBER, PURPOSE > PLEASURE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️⚠️

These ideas get to the heart of the human condition beyond business. So many people have been broken by well meaning authority figures-parents, doctors, teachers or friends-who told us what we can and cannot do. The learned helplessness robs us of our humanity and our ability to create our lives.

dan realized that people will click on any video that says "how to get ahead of 99% of people". seen this in multiple thumbnails/titles of his highest performing videos. everybody wants to be 'special' i guess. I would like to think, that after a certain level, you shouldn't care about being 'ahead' of anybody. This type of thinking works for competitions, but real life is not a simple contest.

It’s rough because most of his info is helpful but the whole “everyone wants to be a digital creator” “how to get ahead” is a major turn off and it definitely makes a person look down their ladder instead of up. I can’t make it through a video anymore.

You are right Dan, when you deliberately set a clear intention, remove judgement, do what you need to do in ease, then your mind and swarm intelligence of consciousness conspires to help you achieve that goal.

The projects point is so underrated. I see a lot of people going to university and floating along towards their degree. If you want to be great, every piece of information must be relevant to the thing of interest, which is the interesting project. In doing something personally interesting in your craft, the course material sinks in deep because it all aids towards development with the things you're interested about.
If you're doing engineering, start a project of say, building an rc car. As you tinker away and iterate, all of that once boring course material becomes relevant and thereby significant.
The people who are doing better than you are simply more interested in the thing than you are.
Foster interest by starting a project.

Thanks Dan, I'm 47 and I started my own wellness business to supplement my IT job. I just finished filming for my RUclips channel and I'm working on monetizing my wellness blog. You're stuff is great!
I was thinking of joining Modern Mastery and taking the 2 hour writer course. I am trying to come up with some funding, I just spent a fortune in camera equipment and some light overhead to get the business started.
You're channel is a HUGE part of this process, thanks again. I want to pay it back through some of your programs, once I get the funding squared away.

A lot of things that are considered "normal" by the society and done by the majority unquestioningly are in fact deeply unhealthy. The goal is always to work against being "normal", "average" or "majority". That's the key to living a conscious, free, and authentic life. Great video.

that's so true, but the reality is this: most people which sees these kind of videos, they get inspired and they feel they can act ... but when they discover how much energy they need to put to escape the insane system gravity ... they just go back in their state of minimum energy like any physical system ... is in the nature of things ... so yes, verry few can escape ... just some thoughts ;)

Your videos are some of the best out there imo. So incredibly helpful and reassuring as I’m going on a journey of chasing goals for the first time really in my life. So far life has been happening to me and I’ve been lucky in some ways that it’s brought me to good starting points but in other ways it’s trapped me. In the past few weeks I’ve made more progress on finishing renovating my house than I had in over a year. I’m working hard to get this project that has been staring me in the face every day for a year and a half finished so I can really just work hard on my deeper goals of creating a stream of passive income this next year. I’ve never felt more sure that I could actually follow through and accomplish things in my life.

2nd What you're doing from the antropologist & philosophical perspective it's called Intersubjetivity.
Transfer experience and conscious to others.
Having skin in the game or reputation based on a miriad of personal experiment while document the process will increase your :
    - Decision making
    - Value
When you share with others, to make projects.

This enlightening talks unveils the profound truth behind our goals and their influence on our life's trajectory. It's a compelling reminder that our aspirations aren't just dreams; they're powerful catalysts for identity evolution. The concept that our dopamine-driven focus can either trap us in mediocrity or propel us towards greatness is particularly striking. It challenges us to scrutinize our goals: Are they truly ours, or have we unconsciously adopted the aspirations of others? By emphasizing the necessity of expansive education and the strategic setting of ambitious goals, the video serves as a wake-up call. It's an invitation to reevaluate our priorities, redefine our identity, and embark on a journey towards a future that resonates with our deepest desires. An absolute must-watch for anyone committed to personal growth and eager to break free from the shackles of an unexamined life.
