Aretha Franklin once said of Judy that she was unquestionably the greatest soul singer of all time, because she sang every song from her soul, everyone!.
Some singers use a song to showcase their voice. Judy used her voice to showcase the song, every shade of meaning, the definitive interpretation. They rode the song like a vehicle, Judy became the engine.
For me Two of the greatest singers who God took into his bosom way too early were Judy Garland and Karen Carpenter. When they sang, their emotions and feelings could be seen on their face, but especially in the eyes. Both were tortured and in pain through their entire lives, searching for love and peace and finally found it in God’s arms. Rest in peace both of you.

Music is subjective. RUclips is replete with people claiming their favourite artist to be 'the greatest ever'. Judy is the greatest talent of all time. There was nothing she could do. Singing, live performances, Acting comedy or drama. And she was a pretty good dancer as well. She had a mesmerizing aura about her that drew most people to watch her rather than the people she was performing with. She stole more scenes than you could shake a stick at. Not because she was trying to, because it was a God given gift. She was big time movie box office, she did the impossible, when she reopened the Palace Theater in New York to vaudeville. And it stayed open for about 15 or 16 years. They said it couldn't be done, but, she did it. Two Oscar nominations, which should have been 3 according to Spenser Tracy. And she lost them both. @oranger2525 Amen to that. There will never be another Judy Garland. Shes my all-time favorite. No one could convey emotion through music like Judy.. Every song that she sang you felt in your heart. Love her.
Dear God, this is the most exceptional performance of this song I have ever heard. Judy Garland: this World did not deserve you. But thank you for having been here. With all my love.
Dear God does Judy Garland move me with every song she sang. I love her so Dearly..Long Live the Legend!
I honestly wish that when someone put up a "dislike" in the comments section they would be able to explain what is to dislike. I just do not understand how anyone could dislike Judy Garland or dislike her rendition of this beautiful song.
my mom recently passed away and I used this song as the last song of her service. thank you miss judy for your amazing voice

A perfect choice! I am sorry for your loss. I lost my father last August 2017. It’s difficult and hurts like hell but this song says it all! I am sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when you played this version. Judy mastered the true meaning of this song! God be with you
Ok best version of this classic EVER….
Greatest ever "You'll Never Walk Alone", Bravo Judy!!!
Mon Dieu quelle jolie voix je suis très émue où que tu sois merci Judy 😍
Awake yet anybody? Such talent that was so badly exploited. God bless each and every one of them. 🙏❤️xx
The best version of this song. Thank you from Russia
Thank you I never heard her sing this song. She will be loved forever.
When i am down, I come to this video to be blessed again. Judy was my absolute love and idol and a boy. I remember the exact day and moment, my one sister came running to me to tell me that she died. I cried then and now, at 52 years old, I still cry. She was the most talented, yet most misunderstood person ever. Oh, how i wished someone could have pierced that warm heart of her which just wanted to be loved. I was only 10 yr when she died. I still miss her tremendously.
she was, is, and always will be the best singer i've ever heard. rest in eternal peace dear judy, we love you. thank you for the music.
She lives forever
This moved me to tears.

The best. Period.
Every 100/150 years or so, we get a voice like this to hear and connect with.
Grace, this is just magical,Judy sounding as good as I have ever heard her.The song suits her range beautifully. As I said MAGICAL.
One of my favourites of Judy's songs. For me, not only is her voice perfect but the emotion she puts into every single song is absolutely amazing. I could listen to her 24/7 and never get bored. I really love the last quote (about being a first rate version of yourself). A fantastic video tribute to her :) Thanks for this!
When I was in high school I came across an old LP with her singing this song. Got me motivated to face some dark days in the future.
i love her she was the best i have so many collectible items of hers but she was a legend a lonely one its a shame she never knew how much we all loved her.
I Love the way SHE! does this, with all the emotions in the right places. 😪!
There will never be anyone who gave us so much and got so little ! She held nothing back, her heart and soul in every note she sang...….reaching out to her audience for love …..
This has to be one of her best!
