Hergé wanted to be Tintin in the real world. But he said in an interview it's impossible to see oneself as a hero because you can see your own flaws. Instead you can only hope someone will see you as a hero, even if they don't tell you.
That's what Hergé actually said once. And that's one of the reasons why he decreed that no new Tintin adventures be made after his death. He said, "Tintin is me. Someone else might do a better or worse job than me. Either way, it wouldn't be Tintin."
And of course he is the artist in the market drawing Tintin in the beginning of the fantastic 3D animated movie "Tintin & The Secret of the Unicorn". 😊 Maybe also the pet shop owner, who catches birds after the pickpocket has run head first into a lamp post? 😁
I think, when asked who that young man is, he even replies: "Well, that's TinTin of course - I have drawn him many times... " 😂 Or something to that effect 😉
@@chu2512 A great excuse 😉 Brilliant and hilarious film - too bad they have never made a sequel, even though the ending clearly pointed in that direction.
I love the Easter eggs of him and one of my favorite scenes his little interactions with Tin Tin aka his son basically and looks like a proud dad. Thank you for doing this vid I was counting his appearances in the episodes like a fun where's Herge.
Purple Berry Pictures that i can Imagine pretty well :) without you i would never know that so thanks for showing this now all the episodes appear in a different light xD i am now wytching the series again in chronological order :)
Purple Berry Pictures yes i do that and it is always funny seeing him in the episodes :) and can it be that herge just appears in the tv show but not in the comics? :) and could you maybe make a video to your favorite tintin comics and episodes? :) that would be cool
Hergé did of course not draw himself into the comics. Actually, after I shared this episode on Facebook, one of the people involved in the TV Series project shared it and commented that he had the idea to put Hergé into a few episodes of the TV Series. They decided it was a cool idea and put him into every single episode :D I didn't plan to make an episode about my favorite comic. I usually just wanted to create some informative videos about Tintin. In fact, I didn't have time to make any episodes recently, because I was busy with other projects, but now, after almost one year I continued working on this project again :D
I was thinking about doing a video about the differences between the movie and the comics. Is that what you mean with an easter egg video for the movie?
Purple Berry Pictures I meant like little pieces of hidden trivia throughout the movie like the the broke ear statue over tintin fireplace. the red Jeep in the movie is the same Jeep the Thompsons use in the land of black gold HERGE is the the artists painting Tintin's portrait at the beginning of the movie a lot of stuff like that. I do like your other Ideas also do you love the movie? i do I have loved Tintin since I was seven years old and I finally found Apollo art The Finnish version. I love how it made Allen a good guy at the end .and also was wondering do you think they were trying to create a love interest four Tintin at the end? found the whole book here www.oocities.org/hergesadventuresoftintin03/alphart/ and I hope one day they make a prequel movie and do cigars of the pharaoh what. book would you love to see as a movie?
1:28 The one episode they didn't manage to find the film master for when rescanning the series in HD. The irony is, the old TV master for this episode (The Secret of the Unicorn Part 1) could have looked A LOT better if someone involved with the remastering had just taken the NTSC print and done a simple inverse telecine. (Oh, and not blowing it up to cropped widescreen would also have helped.)
He and other artists had cameos in some of the books, too - he's in King Ottokar's sceptre, I think Bob de Moor is, too as well as Edgar Jacobs (apprears as the mummified Jacobini on the cover of cigars of the Pharaoh). They did this stuff a lot...I think the creators of the cartoons wanted to pay tribute to that.

For me hergé's is a hero in that his comics for alot of us defined childhoods and he gave us tintin as a role model
Found this character weird for always appearing but thanks to you now I know it's Herge all along!
He’s just there to help keep Tintin out of too much trouble.....
Thank you Mr. Remi....
❤️
1:16 the best part
So touching...i think, Tintin is Herge , himself
That's what Hergé actually said once. And that's one of the reasons why he decreed that no new Tintin adventures be made after his death. He said, "Tintin is me. Someone else might do a better or worse job than me. Either way, it wouldn't be Tintin."
Me....thinking same..... But where is snowy.
Tintin was Hergé but when he was a child. As an adult, it was Haddock.
Tintin Doesn't Know But That Very Yellow Haired Man He Met Time To Time Was Actually His Father
And of course he is the artist in the market drawing Tintin in the beginning of the fantastic 3D animated movie "Tintin & The Secret of the Unicorn". 😊
Maybe also the pet shop owner, who catches birds after the pickpocket has run head first into a lamp post? 😁
Omg I didn't know that :O I'll watch the movie again 😩❤️

Or something to that effect 😉

Hèrge just wants Tintin to be just like the comic
I love the Easter eggs of him and one of my favorite scenes his little interactions with Tin Tin aka his son basically and looks like a proud dad. Thank you for doing this vid I was counting his appearances in the episodes like a fun where's Herge.
I loves this as a kid I ought to watch it again. Ill never forget when that dude sacrifices himself on the rocket.
Old Herge maybe wants to see his masterpiece Tintin
Tintin not even surprised to see his father
Who here grows by reading tintin?
Me why not?

you should make a Easter egg video for movie they are so many in that movie. I would if I knew how to make it
I was thinking about doing a video about the differences between the movie and the comics.

HERGE is the the artists painting Tintin's portrait at the beginning of the movie a lot of stuff like that. I do like your other Ideas also
do you love the movie?

Plot twist: Hérge was Tintin's father all along
Sadly, impossible in the Tintin's world. Herge was born 1907, Tintin 1912. In the Tintin's world, rather Tintin's elder brother.
@@ОльгаТокарева-ю1я ah, makes sense
Well done!
Thank You!
Hergé appears more in the animation than Captain Adock himself being that he is one of the main characters LOL
🎵It was herge all along🎵
Herge ✨✨❤️❤️
You missed his cameo in the 2011 movie though
Emotional. 1:15 makes my eyes wet..
Wunderschön
does he talk in the series
Daniel R. Productions The Great --> No he doesn't sadly
Just once I believe, look at 1:24
Actually he does 1:24
Yes, at the end of the crab with the golden claws.
Yes
Whats the music called, i cant find it

I am 13 but I love the series😊
Cool
Herge,Matt Groening did better a self insert than any modern comic or animation.
this man is a genius
why is hege in Almost Every Tintin episode is he a Spy or Something
Daniel R. Productions The Great ---> No he isn't the "Spy" of Tintin, he is the father of Tintin who makes Tintin alive and signed him.
But that's just a theory. A FILM THEORY.
i mean its like stan lee, he just appears in them. i think its cool

Rip
Remember when I was kid asking why this guy was everywhere all the time ahahaha
Man, Stan Lee ain't got bleep on Herge's cameos.
Hergé es la ostia
Herge must be the Stan Lee of Tin Tin
Hey, don’t forget the movie version directed by Steven Spielberg and producer by Peter Jackson well maybe 🤔 next time!
Oh so that's who that is I never realised it was herge
Very much like what Hitchcock did.
Uh
