Merry Christmas. I’m not a trucker myself but I had the opportunity to do 10 hours training on a Kenworth Semi with an Eaton Fuller 13 or 18 speed transmission (can’t recall which) and that little bit of training gave me an even greater respect for what truckers do. You make it look easy, especially with all the challenges driving in downtown Toronto. I drive a shuttle bus downtown Toronto and if I ever get the chance to meet you, coffees on me. Have a great Christmas and New Years.
The "oh crap" moment you had at 9:15 is the new intersection at Roncasvalles and you caught it during a good time, usually it's a clusterf**k, the new and super confusing traffic lights have been creating big jams since they were installed. Also, Merry Christmas! Once again you've gone through my hood and one of these days I'll catch you and say hey. :)
Merry Christmas, when I drive through Ontario every time I see a B-Train hope it's your truck but no luck yet. We drive to Welland and Niagara Falls hope to run into you at some point.
I feel your pain about the drivers in downtown Toronto. I laughed a little when you said “go around, what are you doing?” Cause I’ve said that many times myself. I also have people rush to get in front of my bus, only to turn left or right in front of me, making me miss a light. I’m on a 15 minute shuttle schedule, so missing a light can make me late.
What a process to unload! I found that long at 8x speed, but stayed with you; you never leave your wing man! I must say, you have the patience of a saint!
