Wow, blindsiding B-trains like that in a pete, that was seriously impressive. I can just about blindside a long box in a day cab, but I have the luxury of having a back window to look through after a certain angle. You, sir, are a very skilled driver.
i stumbled upon your channel by chance, you remind me of myself i drove truck for 35 years I am retired now am 61 years old , watching brings me back in time good old days....
WOW It's like you're an old truck driver soul inside a young man's body, how can you be that good, so experienced, articulate and calm at your age? thats rare today in the trucking world Today I jstarted following you, my ex boyfriend sent me one of you btrain blindsided videos, I pull doubles coast to coast in the States for four years and yes I back them up once in a while but nothing like you. You make it look like your are going forward. You're a cool cat, totally FANTASTIC 👍❤😎
I worked on that 1st building you delivered the pre cast stairs to! One of the riggers on site for the crane, but not me who hooked them that was my partner Dre. Awesome to see thanks for sharing!
Watching these clips of yours Matt it occurs to me how much our industries are similar. In fact very similar yet quite different although I don’t do building sites any more are used too many years ago so I’m very familiar with the parameters with which you deal. Like your encounters we also have interesting delineators.. I’m so glad I now do basically on and off farm deliveries from storage facilities for fertiliser to farms or Feed Mill’s and Off farms to city storage facilities often a days drive away. the differences are more to do with climate but both you and I have to deal with a fair bit. I’ve been incompetence and/or idiots.
I am always amazed how you back the btrains like it’s nothing. I backed a set of btrains once and just wanted to unhook and go home😂 great job and keep up the good content
G’day Matt blindside backs are never a lot of fun but we all gotta do them sooner or later and you just do what you Gotta do. I haven’t had to do a blind side back with this triple yet but I’m not bloody looking forward to it.
Watch your channel alot love yer video and the sound of your truck. And I like how ya chat when yer driving. Your very experienced trucker that for sure and you have great skill as a trucker in da USA. Big Hi from Scotland UK
I've become addicted to your channel recently, it's amazing to see the difference in trucks that you drive across the pond. I've been a truck driver for a couple of years now and it's not a job, it's a lifestyle for sure. I got to say I love your peterbilt, she is an absolutely beautiful truck, their so much nicer to look at. I'm not sure how the B train would work on UK roads as we have some narrow and ridiculously tight places to get in and out of, but I'd love to try my skills in Canada one day. Keep up the good work brother and stay safe out there.
Kool vid. Always always make sure the load is out of harms way before moving. You went directly under the load while it was being lifted to pick up something at the 39:49 mark. That is a huge No No! Never ever trust objects being lifted. It just takes a nanosecond for something to go wrong. Got to be safe out there. Hard hats don’t save you from a falling slap of concrete .
Thanks for the concern. I’m filming behind the camera there, it was their spotter on the trailer. You’re correct though I wouldn’t be running under there while it’s still directly above!
What's up driver another great video my friend. Construction sites friend or foe, win some loose some. Oh well you made the delivery and hopefully made some money. Maybe the next load is a easier one and you can call it even, LOL. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming and always travel safely catch you on the next one.
Even at my age watching through your eyes some things people do is still shocking. I've done my share of dumbbell stuff and always try to apologize . Tailgating is one of the worst I always leave a emergency distance between vehicle's moving or stopped. I shouldn't be surprised that few of your customers don't give you any more drop off information . You not only go the extra mile for customers some days it's a extra ten miles. Your very good at reading the road surface and not getting stuck . I was wondering how strange that felt for you to pull only one of your trailers . Thank you for taking us all along for another great ride along with your truck.
The amount of times I have driven the stretch from the 115 at Peterborough to the 401 in London is countless, I go nuts as soon as I hit the Ajax traffic
There's a couple lights like that in my town. It'll let 3, MAYBE 4 vehicles through if everyone floors it at the same time. So irritating, ESPECIALLY when college is out and the lights decide to turn when there's NO ONE at the intersection... 😂
I became extremely fascinated by b train trailers after watching your vids, and I couldn't understand how they worked. Ended up getting American Truck Simulator, got me some b trains, and after playing around with them for a while I've gotten pretty decent with them, and now I can tell exactly what you're doing. I'd like to try it in real life.
i still dont really understand them or whats the benefit of them over just a regular 48 foot flatbed. i never seen trains in the US at least in my area
@@brody8857 You can have a 32 foot lead trailer with a 28 foot pup, and you can make corners easier than a 53 foot trailer with rear axles. So it gives you more cargo space, easier turns, and the articulation means more axles, so more weight. And it takes a lot of skill to back them, a challenge that makes a truckers life more satisfying.
Hey I’m from Perth, if you end up back there just east of the light for the Home Hardware there is a little restaurant with a good yard. Mostly breakfast but you could drop your pup there if you’re going into that tiny yard at HH
The long bonnet trucks look the business. But in tight city streets the cab overs make life so much easier. Turning circle of one football pitch, not three. They don't have the same sort of cool though.
The load you were delivering for those apartments is located in the soccerfield/old stoner forest of the highschool i went to. When you pass through here what cb channel are you on? I have a base and mobile, will start keeping an eye out for ya!
Your truck is longer than i thought it was when you did your checks and panned your camera round, What weight can you carry over there in North America with your setup, It must be a nightmare in the big city's with a truck that long, Great channel and all the best from England 👍
The semi i use is older than yours. My work has me occasionally drive our water truck around because i work for an aggregate company. Mine has only 1 powered window, and that's the passenger windo🥲
It’s funny thing you know Matt. We also have a Perth which is in Western Australia and a bloody long way away from me and is heaps of Freight going to Perth and next to nothing coming back edit it’s about 2400 miles from here so you try and get really big money to go over, and whatever you can to come back or empty
Next time your looking to stop in perth you can pull into the giant tiger. I sleep there all the time. You can drive right around the back and will bring you to the next street that comes out by canadian tire! Ive passed by you once or twice on 7.
Damn brother I’m not sure if anyone has told you but damn you’re backing skills are top notch I follow many drivers no one has you beat on back and driving- just saying love your videos- James from Alabama
Fantastic to see from the drivers point of view & explaining what & why you/we, do the things that have to be done to keep traffic flowing smoothly & advancing human's development in construction for us all to enjoy & incorporating some, not all, 😫 inconsiderate reckless drivers & to have to predict other people's driving . Yes i drive trucks. By the looks, Job site debacle, not very good planning by Job site people's 🤔. Should be, drive in, drive out. Shouldn't have to reverse 4 mile. Any way, Well done
Heyyyy buddy was that a Yorkshire 🇬🇧 accent you did there 👍🏻😂😂….. And I totally Agree you are extremely impressive with your reversing skills…..and another Awesome video….. NEXT VIDEO PLEASE 🙏👍🏻🫡
I’ve been watching your channel lately, interesting stuff. You’re an extremely talented ,skilled driver. Was wondering what the maintenance is like on a truck like yours, looks like you are the owner.
Heres the deal, you dont split your train for less then $100. If its a b train load then there has to be Btrain access. Dont do anything for free. These are things that should be determined by a load taker before he/she can even quote a price, if they miss it, they pay you for your extra effort
.....your first stop in Ottawa u ended up going down the Vanier Parkway....which is RCMP & Ottawa Police territory....a little fender bender & they would've had a field day with u......just a heads up..............Cheers!
just curious can you park a double trailer ,,if so can we see it in furture videos ..p.s i love the pc game american truck sim ..i sure hope its very close to what lyou do in real life .. take care .
8x semi sounds like an F1 car. I dig it.
Definitely, perfect 😂😂
Went to the comments as soon as I heard it
speed up sounds cool can you imagine truck AND trailer racing???
Sounds like early Gran Turismo!
Yep 8x Video Speed had me laughing.
Uh i love this POV, looks fantastic, makes me feel I'm the driver
You have some impressive skills to reverse your rig like that. I am in awe! Well done and I love your channel. Hi from the UK. 🇨🇦 🇬🇧
36:00 great job Matt 👍🏻👍🏻

Exactly 💯 WOW
Hi🇨🇿, beautiful tractor and the interior is nice and clear, nothing digital, it's a shame that we don't have something like that.
I can listen to that Cat all day, I can't even reverse a transfer unit, very impressive, driver!
i stumbled upon your channel by chance, you remind me of myself i drove truck for 35 years I am retired now am 61 years old , watching brings me back in time good old days....

I'm amazed at how fast that truck accelerates. It's actually quite impressive

You are a driver from heaven.
You are a very skilled driver. I am enjoying your channel. Be safe.
That’s nuts. Awesome job on that blindside doubles backing.
I am always amazed how you back the btrains like it’s nothing. I backed a set of btrains once and just wanted to unhook and go home😂 great job and keep up the good content
You are a talented and amazing driver! Stay positive, life is short!🤠
Seeing you exit the Parkway and seeing the No Trucks at old RMCP headquarters was great. Dont blame you the highway is a mess these days.
You are the man! Backing that stinger up like a boss!!@@
I don't even have my CDL yet...I use your channel for motivation and learning thanks

At 8x, she sounds like a racing motorcycle!!! Kudos, man.
You always sound so calm when backing up, meanwhile here I am sweating bullets just watching. xD
Impressive reversing skills!! Hi from a Norwegian living in Denmark :)
Now that's some great reversing, not to mention your chill demeanour. Also I love the racing truck driving from 45:10 onwards 🤣🤣
i was going to comment the same thing haha his truck turned into an F1 car
Wonderful. Driving
Greetings from Brazil!!

10x play speed or whatever it was makes your truck sound like a F1 car lol also props for driving skills.
watching you roll through my home town knowing all the streets makes this so weird lol & loads of trucks go on that no truck route youre good lol
That vacant lot at 1:03:14 used to be a Chrysler dealer that was torn down years ago. Nothing much going on since.
Parked right in my neck if the woods! Im just about 15min from the Petro-Pass on the 115! Good stuff as always
🔥🔥🔥🔥
ROCK STAR !……thanks for the ride !

Thats some pretty snazzy reversing with that dbl trailer....
Nice 👌🏼 B doubles here in australia definitely would be easy to back in places like that and theyre around 86 feet long

Beautiful truck
Just found your channel. I like it! Nice Pete.
I really like the colors of your truck.
What does that switch, when you turn of the hazardlights?
6:40 haha! my father always gets pissed on those stoplights🤣 hes also a truck driver!
Great video.

Hello Matt , nice trip .
I have delivered for that same company in Florida and Texas great place to load as well but the delivery locations sometimes are challenging lmao 😜

4:47 was that weird jump in the speedo just the gear you shifted into slowing down so they could mesh?
It’s something to do with the speed sensor in the trans, it’s done that since the rebuild trans went in a couple years ago
I think i saw you hauling down the 407 with a load of stones
cool in 8x the speed, sounds like indianapolis race cars
Dude....that blindside backind with two trailers and a sleeper blew my fucking mind!
