- Hello guys and welcome to todays video! Here we are returning to the tight back-up delivery, but today I’m taking you on the journey to get there as well! There’s lots of tightness in this video be warned! Haha
2006 Peterbilt 379
CAT C15 MXS 650hp
B-Train Flatbed Trailers Авто/Мото
"Eat cones, Lexus" 😂
I’m not a trucker but really like your videos. Gives me an appreciation of truck drivers . Keep on truckin!
I can’t believe how well you backed those trailers in. Awesome.
I was getting stressed watching you drive through those city streets 😂
Your backing skills are second to none. You're good.. Keep on trucking!
no hes saying they're good. lmfao@@KahunaPepper
@@KahunaPeppersecond to none means he isn't second place. Nobody is ahead of him
i ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOOOVE the sound of this truck.......truly incredible.
as a toronto subscriber! yes very tight spot out here! be safe
Those drivers are taking their lives in your hands cutting into your lane at the last second. Obviously they don’t understand physics.
Drivers a really stupid here, like really really stupid
It’s not that they don’t understand, they just don’t care is the problem
Exactly!!!
No crush zone on these trucks either.
Pretty much steel "I"-beams on wheels loaded with thousands of pounds
@@iitsjustmjyeah, but they also don't understand
As much as we love stress free routes, I think these ones keeps us alive :))) Good job mate!
Your reversing skills are impressive :) Greetings from Poland ;)
I love Matt’s thinking out loud lol. It’s so chaotic, yet well thought out and coordinated.
The car at ~37:55 is a Ford Sierra XR4i (also known as the Ford Merkur XR4ti in the US) - it was the "normal" performance variant of the Sierra family car - there was also two even more powerful versions (Sierra RS Cosworth and Sierra RS500 Cosworth). It was highly successful in touring car racing in Europe in the late 80s, and also won the World Rally Championship in 1988 in a 4x4 version :)
Was laughing excitedly right along with you at the part with the bus 😂 Had me stressing out 🤣 You got it all down buddy. Keep it tight! 💯
I laughed when you called out the ERB truck as a marker . I do the same thing. I also play the express & collector game going across the 401.
A huge thank you to you and all the truckers out there that keep this world moving!!
The Ford that you saw was a German built compact based on the European Ford Sierra and sold in Canada as a Merkur XR4Ti in the late 80s. It wasn't popular and was gone in 5 or 6 years.
This guy is an absolute legend!! Just found your channel and definitely subscribed it's an art the way you drive that thing. Dude was probably taking a pic bc he couldn't believe you were there😂 I've been watching all these trucking channels bc I'm about to start CDL school and I'm pretty damn excited to have found your channel man thank you. Time to binge you're an absolute legend man holy crap lol👍🏻
you getting into hauling open deck?
This guy is the ultimate trucker. He does it all while driving figuring routes out etc. trucking isn't easy. If I can't sleep at night throw on a video and listen to that truck purr and I'm out.
Must be nice knowing Toronto roads. I seemed to be always kind of lost when i was OTR(Canada & USA), lol, new places all the times. Your backing skills are awesome. Keep doing what you do best Driver.
Any advice for a young guy getting started? I value all the advice I can get from the vets.
This is where anxiety comes from. I have so much respect for what you do and your talented driving.
Well once you’re a Licensed Class A driver you gain the confidence and find it almost satisfying backing into difficult spots
Your skills is so impressive. In England there is also a problem with driving a truck because all cities are small and narrow.
Good to see a fellow truck driver not using Jake's around town and not being a show off cowboy. Cheers mate 🍻👍
Your talent is remarkable. Smooth shifting and so calm under pressure. And so easy on the truck
Skills driver skills. Great job. I was getting stressed out just watching it. Your call on that right hand turn with the bus was legendary.
8:35 we appreciate you guys that deal with total bs on the roads to bring us our stuff, thx
The car at 37:50 is a Ford Merkur XR4Ti (X Rally 4cyl turbocharged intercooled)
I felt like this was me at work driving my semi down the same route. I could hear the stress in your voice at the bridges and turns. Gotta love those stress points. It was fun watching the video and not feeling the stress myself for once just enjoying the ride.
First time here ,my husband is a local truck driver for 10 years now and he loves it .I have being in to work with my husband and love it very much .have a nice day !!!
Thanks Matt . Love watching you navigate !
As a Professional driver of some 26 years, I found your one-shot into that yard, phenomenal. If you always drive sanely, and assume that all other drivers, will do the dumbest thing possible, you’ll be ready when they do.
Always enjoy your videos.
Stay safe.
You’re an absolute joy to watch. I’m a truck driver for Sysco. I absolutely love the thrill of driving truck. Watching you make that right turn around the bus I could feel your excitement! 😂 I love that. You’re “WHOOOOO” after making the turn is me all day. Driving for sysco you gotta park and drive where no truck should ever me and all day long your hearts racing and the excitement is alive 😂😂 nothing in the world better than trucking!!! Your an amazing driver!! Defensive driving rather than having that typical trucker ego. I love it. You’re a breath of fresh air in the industry. Not to mention a beautiful truck sir
A true professional driver! Thanks for doing what you do!!!!
I don't miss the traffic in Toronto, I drove in it for 31 years to get to work at Pearson Airport. Feel for you buddy stay💪🏻👍🏼
37:52 Hey 👋🏻 it is a Ford Sierra XR4i a 2.8 L V6 with 150 hp (series). The Ford Sierra XR4i was built from around 1983, and there were only about 29,400 units worldwide. It was manufactured at the Ford plant in Genk, Belgium. Enough about Ford - you're a smart guy with a cool Peterbilt! It's fun to watch you work! Greetings from Germany! 🇩🇪 😎✌🏻
it's actually a Merkur Xr4ti as they were sold in north america, and they all had the 2.3 turbo 4 cylinder from the Mustang Svo of the time
@@MultiFreeMan1111 Hey! Yeah, cool, I've learned something new again. I actually only know the European version! Thanks for your addition! Ford still installs a 2.3L engine in the Mustang or the Focus RS today. Have a great day!
Love watching your videos!
I have never watched your videos put it on for background and found my self in it working on the shoulder of the Allan. So random but very cool
I ‘ am sure glad your driving Matt. I didn’ t know you were pulling a B - train with construction. material very good backing manuvere now your ready. for the Ice roads north of. Yellowknife too the remote mines in the northern NWT / keep on. trucking and if you go up there with your Peterbilt 379 make sure you got a good set of triple chains , winter front and belly. tarp and you additive for winter fuel. in the tractor. because it. gets pretty cold. - 40 or colder hard on equipment / keep on trucking. / Bill S
I love watching you wiggle into that driveway.
You had good people making your day easier too
Thank you to you guys running the country.
You sure know how to handle your rig! Loved the POV. Thanks for the ride!
Another great piece of Canadian trucking content. nice to see you out for a rip in Toronto.
These videos are a lot more fun to watch now that I've played around with b trains so much in American truck sim. Great backing, man.
Watching from South Korea and you're an amazing driver!! Thank you for sharing your skills and views!
Another Awsome video. Amazing how you make TORONTO look easy!⭐🌟⭐🌟
These Toronto videos are really cool to watch, keep them up :D
Looks like a another win in the books. Truck sounds good.
Can’t wait to become a trucker love your videos man currently waiting to get my full g so I can move up
I once watched another one of your videos where you delivered a load to the same location, and I never forgot about that. I drive an ambulance in Toronto and sometimes it gets really hairy and sketchy, but I always think about that ONE particular video of yours that I watched, and it somehow makes me feel better. Your videos are really cool. Thank you for making them!!!
It was nice talking to you, although only for a second, on the CB. As i said, it must be nice to have power and be open. My Pete has a Paccar, no power and castrated to 103 tops. Even empty, i lose power up the Wooler, Kingston, Port Hope, etc. I use to take that Yorkdale exit all the time with a 53' van trailer
Great driving as always my man!
I love how you handled the the stress of driving with the bus. was kinda funny
You are awesome man. Very old school remind me alot of my dad before he turned his CDL in. He was one of the best and you are also sir. There are not many people left in the trucking world that care for the art of trucking, and do it just for a paycheck and it shows. Amazing driver and great attitude. Keep it up sir!
Hey dude youre one coolest person up here.. my cousin is a trucker. And you show alot how this work is done. Im afraid to do this job but will probably have to
I live 8 hours north of Toronto so im not used to driving down there. When I go im stressed out the entire time, I couldnt imagine drving a truck and trailer. Awesome video!
wow i dont normally watch videos like this but this was entertaining, great work!
That bus oh my god! Well done
Great as always 👍👍 good job bro ✌️✌️
I drive for Timmies...(20+yrs now big rig drivin) mostly in Scarborough and the downtown core....it’s fun to drive along as I’ve been on all those roads....and no one quite gets the stress of bridge heights...especially in the middle of TO and just north of Lakeshore Rd....oh, and the joys of ppl letting you in. They aren’t so friendly around King and Spadina 😞. I’ll wave if i see ya! We’re limited to 95 so i won’t be passing you anytime soon in the GTA. Rubber side down and drive safe!
Excellent work it seems that your day was good run this video.
Excellent driving!
Highly skilled driver nice work
Yada yada yada 0:37 😂
Just like seinfeld
Nice work Matt...was down there last week doing delivery on Rogers Rd by train bridge....new build....right next to Rex Building Supply
I thought I was good at driving a four door pickup with a 8 foot box and and 14 foot trailer downtown and backing into driveways minding my space and avoiding everything thats thrown at you. But you are the master of it all hands down.
Awesome job my Canadian friend
very awesome truck and vid man love your vids and man that city driving
Nice work! Greetings from another trucker from Sweden.
The music during your unload is pretty sweet. Reminds me of The More/Obscured Floyd era... 👍👍
You keeping that od truck working 💪🏾
You have to be on point all the time in these machines. 401 is bad enough, but downtown is a damn nightmare
Bro you are amazing! I drive downtown for work and also live downtown. Your patience and skill is unmatched, if you ever need routing or advice or an extra truck to block traffic let me know! Keep up the amazing work. I always wanted to drive big rigs, but my uncle who does it talked me out of it. I drive for TTC, love the respect on the buses you have!
Never let someone talk you out of doing something you want to do!
I saw you on the 400 just before the highway 11 split truck sounds so good in person
damn bro, the skill here is unreal
Looks like the streets of Chicago my friend. If ur not stressed going in u will be on the way out lol.
Nice job as always.
Man! Your ole girl sounds good!!!
Much improvement less hassle
Quick delivery 😊😅
Happy trails 👣 2u🛣
Sweet Merkur XR4Ti at the end there.... Had an 86 and then an 84 between Winnipeg and Vancouver. Another great video Matt! You're a fricken eh wizard with em super B's eh 😎🤙🏻 Keep it up. Best of luck making cash through this shit 👊🏻
man that engine sounds sooo good
GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!!!!!!
As far as I know, this was the first video of yours that I've seen and I got up to you setting up at the receiver when I realized you had b-doubles. Dont know why I didn't notice earlier. fantastic driving!
My man said…. 401--Allen--Eglinton…. 😬….. all I envisioned was orange cones and brake lights. I’m glad you ended up on duffren
Great work
I didn't realize you had a double behind you until you started backing up. That's a whole other level of stress haha
Keep up the good work
That car you saw was based off the Ford Sierra from Europe, Ford Merkur XR4Ti was sold in North America from 1985 to 1989. It used the same engine from the 1983 Mustang Turbo GT & Thunderbird Turbo coupe a turbocharged cast iron block inline 4 cyl.
I did downtown toronto in a western star with a long nose and sleeper at my last company, now im doing it in a daycab cascadia and I still hate going to downtown T.O. lol
Driving through Toronto is skills. 👍
Hallo Matt
Matthias
Gotta give it to ya brotha. Driving my stoneslinger down there is a challenge in itself…. Yours wayy harder
Good driver 👍👍
I live 2 mins away from duff and Lawrence very cool seeing u drive through there👍
I just watched you take my commute home, turn for turn. This was awesome, I can vouch this route is definitely one of the worst in the city seeing you learn it was wild. Some of the worst drivers Haha
thanks for the ride
Trucks in the Netherlands thanking people helping them manoeuvre usually quickly flicker their emergency lights once or flip their turning lights left-right-left and off again.
As an ex driver in England......those tight roads certainly remind me of the bad times as a driver :))))
parking my tiny frs in reverse is a chore for me... I could never
That was a lot like ford sierra, called in eu )))
Cool vid, as allways 😂😂❤❤
I hope one day ill get to drive that kind of truck ❤
Absolutely Love Toronto woohoo ❤❤❤
Love your cute videos too :3 jaja 🤙💪❤
Dont be shy, blare that air horn. starting to hate Gta/peel driving. I don't even rig haha! - love the sound of the truck and great driving skills! *also awesome to se you didnt have to unload the trailer or your forklift, nice to see a helping hand from others \m/ !
Mental dialog of a trucker made vocal....I say the same things in my head about four wheelers as they try to lane jump in traffic...
Hey bud, loving these videos! Can I maybe ask if there's a way for you to explain to us newbs to the trucking world, how you exactly get hauling jobs, who your Fleet Manager is, what your pay is, how your hours work, all those details as to help us better understand, because to be honest, I think truck drivers are very overlooked and unappreciated. Have a good one!
