I really enjoyed seeing this little truck cleaned up and restored. Looking forward to the next update on it. I don’t care for the music you put in these videos. I’d rather hear the progress being made, the pressure cleaner running, or engines running. I still enjoy watching, just had to turn off the volume. Thanks for sharing!👍🏻

We had the Bedford Trucks here in the UK owned by GM they called these the Bambi GM shut Bedford in 1991 as the foreign imports were taking the business. I started my career driving Bedford's they were good trucks, The army used a lot the TM model had a Detroit engine.but they did give problems on early models.

If you have ignition issues with that truck, I think it has a weird coil that fires two plugs at a time

She was dirty. When you mention that in the beginning of the video, I thought it didn’t look that dirty. Then you soaped it down and I could see the dirt dripping.

A friend of mine had some here in Texas and brought a couple out to my place to play with and sell. He could not get them registered here for personal use. I have seen some in municipality use with tags. Hmmm???

I'm guessing this has something to do with the 25 year rule for imports like these because i see more and more of these around lately.
@wsaut For sure, there's 2 of them that I know of up here in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. One fellow uses his for small deliveries around town and short country trips. Good on fuel I bet LOL.
Yes it has to be 25 years or older to be imported to the US so like Bobby’s truck and let’s say a gt-r

A friend of mine put full electric motor onto the gearbox of one of them, battery's under the tray, it went like a rocket never got out of 2nd gear 100ks purr hour & would go for around 130 KLm's

Hi guys for your little dump truck add a aluminum bar on top of the rack and add 2 whelen strobes on it .what's a dumptruck without a couple strobes on it and it also adds to your safety I have 2 strobes on mine and wow what a differance they made after installing them

My guess it is a UK/European vehicle because they are rarely built with right side steering wheel except custom built U.S. Post Office 🏤 Jeeps. 🙂
These lil things are Japan Domestic Market, Kei vehicles with engines smaller than 660CC so they escape a lot of taxation.

Doesn't the cab tilt forward like a cabover rig because if it does, why didn't he just tilt the cab when he was power washing it 🤔 & if it doesn't, then it's stupid having a cabover truck with a cab that doesn't tilt,bcause it would be better if the cab did tilt it would be easier to wait on the engine

Beef up the suspension, supercharge a larger diesel and mate a 6spd. work trany to it and put big tires on it and it might be serviceable!
Or you could use it as is as a yard parts mover. Beef up the suspension, heavy duty tires and dump bed too.
