This is one of those places that makes such a difference!!!! I learned this at training with Allergan, believe it or not. It's one of 3 places that gives an overall more youthful appearance without putting the filler all in one place.
Hi Lauren, you are extremely knowledgeable compared with the many videos done by cosmetic injectors I have listened to. I have had a total of 0.7ml of Restylane Volyme done to my PF. I wish my Dr uses Juvederm but she works with Restylane only. I agree with every word you said in this video, beautifully presented and 100% on point. I am looking at doing more to my PF. xx
I totally get it, it makes much more sense to fill supporting areas instead of the actual folds. I wonder what the corresponding solution would be for marionette lines, jawline or cheekbones?
I wish I had known about the piryform fossa before. I kept telling drs I had volume loss in the dip near my nose and instead they always injected the line (I don’t even have folds) and it migrated and looked way worse.
BTW, I had my nasolabials filled about a year ago and it looked horrible because the folds weren’t deep enough. The result was that the lines actually were protruding from my face - not a good look…I think the pyriform filler is the perfect solution.
im getting sculptra done including that area. its not immediate but it lasts about a year so only yearly injections are needed. that is known to be a high risk area so the fewer injections the better i think
I went to get it done and they entered from the height where the mouth is located and now I have fuller on the outside of the nasolabial folds causing deep creases and none in the pyriform. I guess they didn’t know what they were doing. :-(
So inject on the piriform, when you smile and such, would the filler move around? That’s my biggest concern, I don’t want them to move upwards which will give me a big saw cheek look?
I see how it's not fun getting the shot in the pyriform, surprised you didn't think it hurt. You also mentioned the under eye area, does that sting? Ur pretty btw
When I did my undereyes the first time with a cannula hurt but the second time with direct placement didn’t! Numbing cream helps- I have another video where you can see the whole process if you want to watch! And thank you 😊
@@ferrocarrilusa5751 For the PF, it takes just one injection on each side. Unlike under eye which may need more than one entry point even within cannula. For me personally, it did sting a bit and then after the numb cream wore off still stung. For under eye I had LA done and didn’t feel a thing except tugging.

Hi. I've had this done once before on me with a surgeon in Miami and I loved it. I want to get it done again by an experienced injector but the surgeon isn't answering his phone anymore for some reason. What city is your injector in? I can fly there if need be or maybe she can refer me to someone near Miami.
I just got this done a few days ago! Could you feel it for awhile under your skin?? And was your face tender for a few days after if you pushed on it??
You look BEAUTIFUL!!! She has done an amazing job

Yes so true!
Yep, that was my first area after lips. Made a huge difference in my NL lines
It really does!
Does it last long? I had the lines done and it barely lasted a month, I want to try this

Super helpful, thank you, I loved your explanations. Your skin is gorgeous btw xox
Thank you!!

Yes it makes way more sense! Once the mid face is filled then you can go in and do cheeks which will likely help with your jawline!
I wish I had known about the piryform fossa before. I kept telling drs I had volume loss in the dip near my nose and instead they always injected the line (I don’t even have folds) and it migrated and looked way worse.
Same
Oh no! I don't know why this isn't more popular!
Wonderfully informative video! May i ask how long does pyriform filler last? I smile a lot :-)
Thank you so much, Lauren! I was on the fence about this procedure and your video convinced me. I’m excited!
Yay!! I'm excited for you!

Same happened to me because they filled the lines and they are not deep enough. I’m definitely gonna try it!
You’re amazing and thanks for the great advice and I need piraform Fossa! ❤
and what about sculptra...what happens if sculptra is accidentally injected into a vessel? does she have the same risk of blindness as ha acid?
im getting sculptra done including that area. its not immediate but it lasts about a year so only yearly injections are needed. that is known to be a high risk area so the fewer injections the better i think
Thank you for showing your techniques. xoxox Carman
love the way you move your hands....so cute!
😊 thank you

@@LaurenErro Which is ironic. With a needle don't they have to pierce your skin several times?

There are a few places in Naples who do it. Eg Jessica at meridian medspa
Wow $670! I charge £150 in my clinic in the uk per 1ml 🤦🏽♀️ crazy prices over there. Nowonder they drive range rovers and live in mansions 🤣
They eat Bologna sandwiches and rice a Toni in order to afford it. Many drs in the us charge 1250-1500. Nurses at medspas 650-900
Hi Lauren did you experience any side effects ??
Hi, no none!
how did they place the pyriform filler for you? did they use a cannula and go through your cheek from the side?
What med spa do you go to and who is your injector?
Since having it done have you noticed any migration of the pyriform filler or any changes to the placement or negative effects?
No none!
I just got this done a few days ago! Could you feel it for awhile under your skin?? And was your face tender for a few days after if you pushed on it??
No I couldn't... could you??!
May I ask exactly how much filler you have had total ??
How much do they put in the pyriform?
Hi!! How much filler total on each side of ur pyriform do u have?
Like .25-.5! Not much
Hey did she only use numbing cream? She didn't need to inject a numbing solution?
I had it done twice without the numbing cream or solution. It's just one needle injection on each side. Getting lip filler is few times more painful.
You look beautiful
I don’t get why people like to imitate the Kardashians. Even the way they talk. Mystery.
What does this have to do with a video about pyriform?
I was wondering what it had to do w the kardashians too 😂
