Love this bike, I have a crf250r and a crf230f, I would say to anybody wanting to start on dirtbikes to stay away from any 250's or 450's because of how powerful and high maintenance they are. The crf230 is the easiest bike to ride, has decejt power and soooo damn reliable
Bought a 230 last month only have to replace the starter which was shot upon purchase runs smooth shifts smooth and good ride height and comfort ability for beginners. Keeps up for 400ex surprisingly and fun in the trails
I had one and it was a great bike but the carb kind of sucked. I ended up getting a free set of bars and asvs and sold the bike for more than I paid for it. Got a crf250l and I can confirm that fuel injection is the way to go.
im not exactbut i rode the same one stock and then this and the power difference is tremendous but alot pof power i'd say the most out of any exausts for it
I never really had starting problems besides one of my wires got chewed up from a mouse r somthing but run through your electric wires and if it isnt any messed up wires it might be ur starter if it takes a while but other than that i cant help you good luck
The carbs are shit on these and mind are rear tires so damn fast. If I would have kept mine for any longer I would have bought an aftermarket carb and pipe and forks
