I'm not so sure she was criticizing the plaintiff. I almost think she was setting the stage to show how the defendants were spending a stupid amount of money on something they probably could have done for free with an iPhone at home.
Define scam? it is not a marketing tool, it is a marketing ploy. Learn the difference. It is an age old fishing lure ploy long used by various retail stores, and most famously by the dreaded used car salesman. And anyone who uses it deserves to be spoken to harshly. It is called "Bait and switch!" Based on the principle you lure the fish in with a very inexpensive, or free offer, then switch to an outlandishly expensive 'car' once you get there and find out the advertised model just happened to be sold the second before you arrived, or follow up you can't refuse once they have you on the hook. Just as with those 29.99 on line programs, get a turnkey for 29.99, or a free success book, then Oh wait here is this for another 99.99, oh wait you took those now here is the 999.99. The plaintiff clearly understands psychological obligation. I've seen it in many forms, from a tour guide handing out recycled material laundry bags and cookies his wife made to somebody attempting to put one of those string bracelets on me. Heck, the dealership I bought my last car from has offered to let me drive a certain vehicle for a weekend or so, and is engaging in other tactics to get me to the dealership, as their market research must show that I've had this car for four years now and they think I'm in the market for a new one (I'm not. I love the car I'm driving). For things like the string bracelet, I jerked my hand away like it was live wires, and I declined the offer from the car dealer. I took the bag and cookies, but gave the same tip I would have given. If somebody is offering something for free, look for the hidden agenda. In this case, these modeling photos are the warm-up to what are probably overpriced graduation photos.

JJ is not concerned with how the photographer does her work.
Who in their right mind pays $1K for pictures. My parents took pictures of me with their phone then got them printed off at CVS for $4.99 😂 😂
Are people REALLY spending THOUSANDS for senior pics nowadays??? 😧
Does JJ REALLY think everyone's out in the same spending bracket as her?
I know for damn sure my mother didn't spend 1000+ on my senior photos.
What a waste of money 😂
The photographer did nothing wrong. She has a good business model
who in their right mind spends $1000 for a few photos
I need to know who wrote the intro voiceovers. 😂
No scam. It’s good business sense to offer something for free to get customers in.
I remember this case, the defendant is a major Karen
Also this some Judge Moody over here
I could model, but modeling agencies told me not to.
I see no problem with Plaintiff. You choose to buy or don't buy.
U dont recieve every picture. U send the ones that are the best
1500$ for pictures lol
Dollar sign goes before the amount.
I think when I graduated in 79 I paid $60 for my portrait package.
Here we have Judge Judy knocking a business model. Not that there's anything wrong with playing "judge" and making a TV show out of it and becoming a multi-millionaire on it.
When I was in school your senior pictures were so regimented they were neither fun nor expensive
Uhhhhh daughter is caked uppp.. age check 😳
Nothing wrong with this business approach, its not like shes making them agree to the paid session before the free session.
That daughter is not 18! She looks at least 27. She is aging like expired milk.
This judge talks way too much sometimes. Like lady, yo grandkids are irrelevant to these cases why are you always talking about them and bringing them up? Stop comparing them to other people’s kids to smh.
Her playpen 🗣️🗣️🗣️go somewhere else
Exactly no one said you had to stay
It’s called marketing, businesses always give something for free to get customers in the door nothing wrong with that
Ooh snap
😂
This entire clip was a waste of time...what was the point of Judy's rant?
elders talk you gots to listen
