    Thanks Gordon!!!! I don't cut them often but when I DO, I have to check a video to see how to avoid the seeds. That happened to be tonight. I was shocked, it was a huge green bell pepper, but when I got to the "Christmas tree" of seeds, there weren't that many but I followed what you said and didn't drop a seed anywhere. I hate doing the veggie tray for family dinners.

    Weren't we all bouncy little kids in a candystore haha? Thats what food does to this man, excitement and passion even for the simple things like cutting a pepper. Amazing to see his passion for this craft no wonder he's always swearing in his programs. He just doesn't want any of the art go to waste. Love this man.

  • @SonicAlchemy13
    @SonicAlchemy13 4 года назад +6

    His technique, that most seasoned cooks know how to do, is slightly less wasteful than cutting off the top and bottom entirely, but for a longer julienne I like to do exactly that, make a slice down any crease from end to end, roll it out flat, seed and core it like you would a roma tomato then make your julienne cuts across the whole pepper. All cooks and chefs are different 👌
