WHEN TO SEE YOUR DOCTOR FOR MUCUS:
As mentioned earlier, mucus and catarrh is not usually harmful, but if it ever becomes a particular problem for you, starts to interfere with your daily life or lasts more than three weeks, you should speak to your doctor. It could be a sign of an underlying condition, such as nasal polyps or a chest infection, which might need further investigating or treatment.
You’ll also want to speak to your doctor if at any time your mucus is brown or bloody, as this can also be a sign of an underlying condition that needs investigating.
And if at any time you experience catarrh or mucus, you have any other symptoms that go with it such as difficulty breathing, tightness in your chest, difficulty swallowing or fever, these are also red flags that you should speak to your doctor about straight away.

Abe’s, those were my grandma’s home remedies when we got sick in our childhood. She use to boil water with pieces of ginger, basil, pepper powder, pinch of turmeric and when it cools off a little, she use to squeeze some lemon juice and add a tablespoon of honey for us to drink! Thank you for bringing back those old memories ❤❤

I actually have a question for you and I did order your neti pot because it's a fantastic value but I have a slight issue that I'd love to get your feedback on. I am curious what advice you might have I suffer with a deviated septum and every time I use the neti pot I typically will have it running out of my nose for hours afterwards which seems to make my sinuses feel bad. I'm curious if you have any recommendations that would help it's my right septum that's really not great. Any information to help me do a better job with renting or ideas would be appreciated. I also love your videos and absolutely find you to be a top-tier doctor that other doctors should strive to become.

Thanks for commenting Thomas and glad to hear you've been using my neti pot sinus rinse bottle. In general you can do a nasal rinse when you have a deviated septum, this can wash away excess mucus, which may relieve symptoms caused by a deviated septum, such as a stuffy or runny nose or postnasal drip. As you'll be aware with a deviated septum due to the structure you're more likely to get less drainage of mucus and other liquids which leads to inflammation. I've added the topic to the future video list though to go through in more detail, in the meantime it would recommend speaking to your healthcare professional about nasal rinsing with your deviated septum to make sure its suitable for your deviation. Sending awesome vibes and wishing you a spectacular 2024!
