Jamies bends and vibrato (especially his bending vibrato) is next level. Soooo clean and smooth. Soulful. Dude, mad props on the lessons. Bought this one today and it is already helping me so much figuring out how to play Gravity properly! Many thanks :)
I cannot tell you how long I've sat here and watched this on repeat
This Just changed my life in a very positive way.
God tier this when we’re talking about Mayer covers.
That harmonic bend blew my mind! 🤯 I’ve never seen anything like it! Awesome job man!
And John does all of this singing on top... just amazing!
This cover shows how great John Mayer is! Also, hands down to you mate Jamie Harrison Guitar.
Just bought the full lesson pack, while this is currently out of my skill level. It's been a pleasure getting each part together slowly! Wonderful! Cheers Jamie! Thanks for the lessons!
You make me want to grab my guitar and play - while at the same time never touch it again. Phenomenal struggle of the aspiration and acceptance!
Nailed it again !!!!!!
Man, this is the stuff I love watching the most! Great player+great music+great guitar+great camera work!! Awesome!
Mark Scheffler yup! This is the kinda guy you could hand him a cheap Squier and he could make it sing like a bird.
Man not only did you play one of the best covers of this song ive ever heard... you totally nailed the tone perfectly!
if anyone is looking to learn this song, I HIGHLY recommend you buy Jamie's lesson for it, I've never learned a song so fast, I was hesitant because I'd never bought a guitar lesson before, but it was worth every penny, he is very slow with details and misses nothing in the song, it's almost like John Mayer himself is teaching you the song, this is amazing.
I cant tell you how many times I come back and rewatch this video your a legend so is john but much love
I have recently bought Jamie's lesson pack for Gravity, and all I have to say is wow. Those lessons are on whole different level man, thanks:)
Also, this cover is gonna blow up to millions, mark my words.
M A R K E D
Every guitarist will have seen this by the end of next year.
I'm going with 1.4 Millon by this year's Dec 31. Let's see how far I'm off then 😁
oh hi mark
Jan Černý would you say it's giving you tips to become a better guitar player all round, or is it just teaching you how to play the song?
@@loganeckersley7046 If you master this song you are already a better guitar player
Gimme that toneeeeeeeeee
Dennis Johnson really I don't even know how he does that it's so clean
Bad Hombre The dark arts I tell you.
Buy his course! He includes a little video series on gear and tone! :)
Yeah I bought his Slow Dancing course, super informative!
A lot of tone can't be taught, it's learned through emotion and the capability to express that emotion
The guy behind all this, John Mayer, is a freaking music genius. This cover is the closest to it, thanks for sharing it.
Mr. Harrison, you are ingenious. There is nothing more to say for me!
Man, those behind the nut harmonic bends you start playing around 4:34 were awesome!
Is this John Mayer himself? Man it's so sick man! Great awesome job brother!
So good. Brought me to tears. 🙌
I love seeing tiny glimpses of Jamie's face getting into it. Part of me was worried he just stared straight ahead blankly because hes too good. Its simple, guitar takes a hold on everybody here. A beautiful thing
Never have i ever learned to play a new song as efficiently as when i bought Jamie Harrison's lessons.
Im just a couple off hours in to the intro of Gravity and im playing like i never thought i could.. (this is my first real try at lead guitar)
I just want to say thank you for the courses Jamie! And to everyone thinking about buying his lessons, i can assure you its money well spent and you will not be let down. Only downside is the lack off sleep i now have😅
Cant wait to complete this one and the other courses!
Gravity
Gravity is working against me
And gravity wants to bring me down
Oh I'll never know what makes this man
With all the love that his heart can stand
Dream of ways to throw it all away
Oh Gravity is working against me
And gravity wants to bring me down
Oh twice as much aint twice as good
And can't sustain like a one half could
It's wanting more
That's gonna send me to my knees
[repeat]
Oh gravity, stay the hell away from me
And gravity has taken better men than me (Now
how can that be?)
Just keep me where the light is
Just keep me where the light is
Keep you all where the light is
Just keep us where the light is
Ohh... where the light is! [repeat]
That riff one if the best ive ever heard man almost tears you up bro it's that good
This is how you get 33k subscribers with only 5 videos on your channel, it really says a lot about the quality. I have never seen anything like this. This is truely amazing, thank you for putting so much effort into your videos and keep up the good work.
This is what a strat is supposed to sound like!
Johnathon Thunder a strat can and is supposed to sound like whatever you want it to. that is the beauty of this versatile guitar 😁
yes! I love the sound of the neck pickup, but this one is superb!
The perfect thing about this Masterpiece is that you hit the real notes at the real time.. especially while you was playing that amazing solo .. Nothing to say but perfect
Have videos playing on random and could not stop hearing “little wing” in the first half. Those two songs mash up so well.
I just can't believe how anyone can be this good man. Seriously, great job dude!
Por Dios! An amazing piece! Incredible way to play it! Please do the entire album of mayer LA! Love and peace!
4:47 somehow it is calming..
One of the most skilled and most accurate covers, note-for-note.
Creative. High level technique. Brilliant
I could honestly listen to 0:00 - 0:28 for hours
I clicked by mistake, best mistake ever...
Live in LA??
It's from John Mayer's live performance in LA, there's an album for it. I'd give it a listen
@@trevoralicea8269 Best John Mayer album by far in my opinion.

Man you should upload more videos! You're so good
Thank you 😊😊 I upload as much as I can, with as much time as I have
Jamie Harrison Guitar Thanks!! I love your videos because its quality over quantity!! Really good job and brilliant playing!!
He actually does a LOT more videos than you see on RUclips...in the form of lessons for the songs he posts here, which are also completely amazing.
Perfection takes time
Wow That was an E-Ticket ride for sure. Holy chit what a master of the art form. What a practitioner. What a magician.
You are an incredible talent! This song takes on a total new meaning and experience listening to you play. In another life, Id like to be half as talented....
Literally the best guitar cover I have ever seen, wants me to pick up my guitar and play again.
That lick is so exotic and complex at the same time 3:49
edgarhamms it’s one of the ones you just feel differently, one of the best
If you listen closely, you can hear John Mayer singing inside your head😁😁😁
These are the players who motivates me to play, but then I spend that time watching these videos.
Being able to play this is right up there with being able to play Purple Rain. I’m speechless! Well done 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
