You’ll probably never read this, but when my kitty Aleczander passed they were playing the original song at the vet. We drove home after letting him go, and played this on the drive. It’s become a crucial part of remembering him, and reminding myself it’s not over. Hell always be in my heart, and this track makes me feel closer to him. Thank you for that, for this. RIP Aleczander and thank you to Mateus for the perfect musical send off to your amazing life. Til we meet again ❤

I can only dream what it’s like to be so connected to your instrument as if it’s an extension of your own body and be able to evoke every emotion you feel through it.
It's a social media fake expectation Pieces like this he is playing out of his whole life of learning the guitar you don't just make up all these licks on the spot they are acquired after a lifetime of practice that's why people have certain styles they are known for Because not everything every great guitarist plays is all spontaneous and on the spot it just comes from many Years of practice
Probably one of my favorite of your covers. I consider myself to be a professional, as I teach and perform for a living. But you are the one guy who whenever I see play I know there is always massive room for improvement. Sometimes I even tell myself, "What the hell am I even doing playing when this guy exists?" Your finesse cannot easily be replicated. Keep doing you.
I feel the same way when I watch certain guys. Gigging was the best thing I ever started tho that’s what’s improved my ability more then anything for sure
The sign of a true musician is not what you play, but how you play it. It’s the emotion you can evoke from your audience. This was absolutely captivating. Tone, dynamics, depth, emotion, it was all there. Simply breathtaking.
I learned this song from end to end, people tell me it's really beautiful and I was pretty proud of myself untill I rewatched it to compare across. The fluency of your playing, the dynamics, the tone, all the details add up to something unique. I'm very confident about my guitar skills, but this guy is just from another planet. His other work is otherworldly as well.
