@@CarSpyTV yes , it's a good idee. I have many thinks to repar, lateral electric window (driver), the eater inside the car, and plastic part on the rear door panel, the painting of the car must be redone. Pfffouifff 🤣
Another good practical video. I bodge stuff together on my micra too so useful to see other solutions. The tailgate on mine was a bit lose so i fixed it last summer. There should be a rubber seal all along the top of it which will hold it firm and also stop water getting in to plate light wiring, rotting bottom of boot door and worse water runs down into the spare tyre well. Water here will start to rust through the shell. Another way to secure with a cable tie if you can reach is just put a piece of bar (nail) or wood dowel behind the hole with tie going around it and back through. Dont know if you can reach or pull it tight inside the door though. Hope the k11 is still running. Great cars. Keep up the good work. PS i need some wiper blades 🤣🤣🤣
Well done on sorting it. Though I feel you might lack a little in love for the car. I'd favour screws and oversized repair washers and perhaps Bluetac (or white) to hold them in place until the handle is located and secured. Excellent and very strong stuff Bluetac and it'll take extremes of weather for years (so far).
Interesting thought. However, there’s not a lot of solid plastic within the handle to screw into (and much of what’s there is breaking up). To secure the handle properly with screws, I’d have to first reinforce its interior. With fibreglass, for example. Best wishes.
I keep coming back to you because you seem the only person on the internet who fixes k11's with the same problem as mine. Lately i have a squeaky tailgate when running stationary. I think this car has had a crash because the tailgate doesnt close properly and sometimes even rattles like I didn't shut it all the way and the lock doesnt close. The board you removed with the plasticky plugs is the noise culprit. It's bent and there's dents in it. I already tried to fix it with ducttape a while ago but my 1200+ km to germany made it come loose again. (This car is a noise machine, window wipers squeak like no one else's business, i think the pressure on the window makes the turning points squeak, shift stick suddenly feels all mushy and rings very annoying in the 5th gear at 100 km/h. This holiday is testing my patience.) I removed it and was hoping the self drilling parkers i have lying around were thick enough but alas, i need to steal bigger ones from work.
@@CarSpyTV this does sound like you are in need of headlamps? I really can't take that car apart and sell it if I don't have any storage space. I live in a tiny flat and without any outside space that's mine. Nice idea, execution impossible.
Great video! Rather shamefully, I also have a collection of worn-out wiper blades for both of our cars. "Let's keep them until I'm sure that the replacements aren't faulty/haven't flown off in a gale" is my flawed logic. They really must go off to the tip. Alternatively, if anyone would like a worn out pair for a K11 Micra, (including a special one with a metal spoiler) just shout! :-D I can think of another RUclipsr who is a windscreen-wiper aficionado. I hope he sees this video!
Hi Robstar*. I keep old blades for similar reasons. I’ve had new blades not work properly, come lose in a storm, etc. However, I’m gonna cut my collection down to 250 pieces. Gotta be sensible!
I had the same problem and what I have done was drill 2 holes on the far ends of the handle and through the metal of the tailgate and installed a 2 round head screws and nuts and painted the screws head same color as car. And it's stronger than ever. I hope this helps people with same issue.
Ha! That was the first thing I fixed on my micra after buying! 😆 That rattling sound was so anoying! I went creative with a longer bolt as the plastic mount was missing.
Hi Tamjid. I filmed this video too long ago to remember the size of the bolts. I'll have a look next time the panel's open. Good luck with your RUclips channel.

Very interesting and great way to fix the panel. Bet the rattle was annoying!
Oh yes! Very annoying.
Impressive impromptu repair of an annoying fault. Good stuff.
Thank you, Bob. I'm glad it's sorted.
Very inventive. Well done.
Glad you enjoyed the video.

Thank's spy car tv 🤗
No worries, Pascal H. Good luck fixing yours.

I know the feeling. There's plenty more to fix on my car, too. Better get some more cable ties!

Another brilliant video you both have a great weekend, I am in Krakow for a day or 2
Thank you, Ian. The Micra will soon be 70% gaffer tape, 20% cable ties, and 10% rust!
Hope you enjoy Krakow. I've heard it's a nice place.

As per usual, another entertaining video. A nice budget friendly and technical way of sorting this issue on a shoestring. Keep up the good work :)
Budget friendly? I paid 17p for those cable ties! ;-)
@@CarSpyTV :D I guess they are very good quality :D it will be interesting in seeing a cost sheet of this project so far :)
The content you put out there is awesome. Very useful and very funny / entertaining as well .. subscribed !! 🙂
Thank you for the kind comment. It's appreciated. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Rattles in cars are soooooo annoying. Drives my other half mad in my old banger😂😂
Agreed. My Primera P12 had a squeaky sunroof once. That was maddening!

@@CarSpyTV fair enough, sometimes there just too much chasing back and the TVR repair kit of duck tape and cable-ties are required.

@@CarSpyTV i might just throw this one to the scrapyard. Or sell it for 100 euro like yours.
