It takes a porsche to overtake that thing uphill, 3rd gear nearly full throttle into the karussell, this car is like super glue on the street. You got great driving skills and big balls to take the corners at those speeds! Mad respect! Engine is stock?!

Now i'm running stock engine with 4-2-1 manifold, Gr.N exhaust and R6 carbs.
Around 80hp I hope! Engine it's not on his best days😂 Tomorrow I'm putting on a dyno to know numbers, and can compare with the new engine i'm building

Loved my £500 Micra ❤ I could 4 wheel drift the thing everywhere in the wet and I got it to do 100mph great little car , and I didn't care about everyone taking the piss out of me so much fun

It's not necessary a rev counter on this car! You just take whaat you want 😂
@@rosworks I've a k12 Micra sports+ 1242cc DOHC 16VALVE polished, ported, iridium leads & plugs, inclosed induction kit bolted to the bottom of the passanger side wing (direct cold air)straight stainless steel exhaust with 4 branch manifold and remapped Lowered coilovers on 16" BBS 112bhp it's doing 0-60 8.2 and 210kmph it's quicker than a 160SR k12 😉😄👍

It does look like your suspension is a bit stiff for the Nordschleife.
Have you ever tried running a softer setup?
Thank you! It really is so stiff, the thing is that the setup is not for the Ring, is the setup for the tracks I usually go in Spain.
I run this stiff because for the moment, ARB's are the oem ones, and I try to beat the bodyroll with a stiff suspension.
I'm waiting for Nismo ARB's that I should recieve next month, then I will be able to adjust the setup and have more suspension travel and softer.
But the truth is that the car is not fast, and it feels comfy at high speeds

Nice driving man. You deserve a faster car. That thing just went from 100 to 130 in like 10 seconds or something. You should have something that goes 0 to 200 in 10 seconds.
Well... The ring is not my usual place to run. Of course it's not a car to beat any record on the ring, but it's fun and I try to beat my own times and improve my skills, what for me, is a lot more important than the numbers!

Crap that really struggles a lot uphill, is it popular to at least put a small turbo on these or do some kind of engine swap? superb driving!
some people either turbo it, since its cheap and easy, or sometimes they swap in ga16 and sr20 engines which drastically improve performance
For the moment it will stay NA. This car should keep being a cheap race car. With 160-180hp would not be cheap.
Now the car it's on about 110hp because I did a engine rebuild with some mods. It's still waiting new cams that should give him around 8-10hp, what is enough for me. I will post soon an onboard with the new engine!

You will have fun for sure, it's an amazing track on whatever car you use!
I would say that sweet spot for fun power/weight ratio is 300hp/1200kg, so if your Micra is around 800kg it should have 200hp for max fun.
But then I say I don't need power for fun🤷🏼♂️ more power would mean better time, no more fun

Why do people do 1.0L gearbox swaps on these? I'm from america so I don't know much about this car. The chassis and suspension components are so stiff. Exhaust is quieter than I expected from a Gr.N full exhaust (altought I'm pretty sure the video doesn't do it justice).
We swap to 1.0 because final ratio is a little shorter.
And yes, the car is so stiff but that's not a problem with a car that is light and is not fast😅
And the exhaust is quite yes, I would like a little more sound, so now I'm building a 2" exhaust with just a final silencer
