    Welcome to onboard footage of Matt's fastest and most exciting lap in the Peugeot 306 GTi6 during our very first track day at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. As usual you can expect to see; some lift off oversteer, the 'learning of' track limits and a misshift or three!
    The 306 did us proud and lapped without skipping a beat. It was awesome to be able to enjoy the track with less traffic and fewer disruptions than you would see on a typical TF day.
    We hope you enjoy the video, let us know what you think and if you want to see more hit the subscribe button.

      Well, since I've only been there on Assetto Corsa, and my best time in a 170hp FIAT stilo was 8:35. I know it's not real, but that also means you're not afraid of actually dying so you give it everything in a way most people wouldn't dare in real life. To see someone smash that time in a similar car in real life, knowing how many times I went off at those corners or mis-shifted and ate the gearbox before I even got under 9 minutes (probably about 50 times)... 1. I wasn't in any danger b/c IT'S NOT REAL.

    Nice driving young chap and although I can see you really know how to drive your car you're not a magician and parts can and invariably do fail when you least expect them to.
    For the love of life and those whom are close to you please fit a rollcage to your car, I have absolutely zero doubts in your abilities but I do have my concerns over vehicle parts because they fail each and every day.

Here in France , a stripped car might be legal, coilovers MIGHT be tolerated but once you fit a rollcage , your car won't pass inspection and you cannot legaly drive your car without it , and daily driving a car with no insurance ( because they won't cover you in that case if you're caught into an accident) isn't good either .... so , that said, it's stupid but if they can't afford 2 cars and a trailer to haul the track one then it might be why ...

      @@trialsbike2135 let me tell you the 2 official explanations there :
      1- your car is no more as the maker sell it so , as you can't produce all the engineering papers to homologate it , it's illegal.
      2- In the event of a crash with someone else , as cars are designed to absorb the impact , reinforcing your car with a roll cage reduce the amount your car absorb , leaving the other car absorbing it , resulting in more serious injuries to the other driver. tl:dr the repartition of the damages aren't equal , it's not fair , so here's a law for it.
      so, here in France basically, i can put a rollcage and ride the streets, i don't think cops will bust me on that (but they can) but if I've an accident with it , the insurance can retract , and you're in for a big trouble, big time, you become the one at fault. They are in the UK but if they have these kinds of laws ...

      @JN-qj9gf 4 года назад

      @@adodoes8770 Pretty much yes. Letting out throttle quick enough to upset/lighten the rear end, which makes it rotate quicker. Most cars have it fairly dialled out in the suspension tuning (and ESC).
