Finally ‼️ Brilliant all the way ❣️
Subscribing for the music track you used alone. But also I'm installing a Kreg plate too. Thanks!
Hi and thanks for the subscribe :) some funky music can brighten the day 👍😎 Still very happy with my Kreg plate
Very nice work! Useful to see placement of T-Tracks. Thanks!
BTW... 80s movie studio called. Said they wanted their undercover cop music back.
Hehe, glad the video helped :)
More like Dirty Harry circa 1971.
it's coming along really nicely. :)
Thanks man 😃
This very helpful. Gives me more confidence to cut out for the actual plate. Still unsure. Very neat. Thank you.
Hi and thanks for watching, I'm glad the video gave you a bit more confidence :) Try it out on a test piece first, jist to see if your method is the way to go 👍

killer tunes kept me engaged. Thinking about making something like this also. Thanks!
Hi and thanks for watching. I can recommend having a router table in the workshop 👍😄

Hi and thanks :)
What pencil and ruler do you mean?
@@WillysGarageNorway the straight yellow ruler and the green/black pencil you use almost at beginning

Where can I get this same plate set. Thanks, Tony
how thick is the table top plywood? is it 18mm ply or thicker?
Is this also good for 1/2 inch router??
Hmm, is there a down and dirty measurement as to the distance of the T tracks from the router? Or is it a personal choice, I'm seeing so many different places of the T Tracks.
I know that table saws have a down and dirty measurement of 15cm from center saw blade. When it comes to router tables I think its personal pref. I can measure on my table and se what I used if you want?
@@WillysGarageNorway Thanks would appreciate that. Norway? Just saw that, winter over there too. Stay warm. Snow coming off the mountains today here in Colorado. Good day to hide out in the garage.
@@tedfritsch3340 I will give you the measurements. Winter and snow is quite normal here :) hehe. Normal temperature during the day is -5 degrees Celsius (23 Fahrenheit) 👍😀❄
@@WillysGarageNorway Up in the Mountains (love to Ski) Vail is usually in the "Teens" 13 F. to 20F. Here in the Front Range it can be in the 50's in January. Currently in conversations with "Eccobauer Construction over there on a possible home to build here in the U.S. Interesting engineering. Looking at their Norweigan-Style handcrafted log Cabin.
What considerations are there to where the insert plate should be positioned (here you have it closer to the back edge) and where the t-track should be?
I'm searching all over trying to find an explanation for why/where the router plate should sit in relation to the table edge, miter bar, etc. It seems like it's kind of random. I'd also like to know the reason for why the T-tracks that the fence ride in aren't longer? The longer they are, the more capacity the router has to do dados in a sheet good, etc. Maybe if it's that large of a piece it's best to use a hand router to do it on the top? Still searching for some answers...
@@l.w.c.2519 I searched as well but as you say it’s very anecdotal. The main issue with the single T Track position seems to be things like feather boards. It would be best to consider the typical locking distance of a featherboard and use that to figure out what distance you might need. As for the fence guides I’ve no idea either!
I couldn’t find any good info anywhere on the issue. I don’t know router tables enough to understand what are the limitations.
Willy How do I know where the T tracks track go? Is there a measurement from the router bit ?
I used the same measurements as on most table saws (center t-track from center saw blade) that is 15 cm or approx 6 inches 👍
And I think that works great, can even use some of the slide jigs on both machines :)
@@WillysGarageNorway great. Thanks
You should wear a mask when cutting MDF.
Way to complicated and not accurate routing 3:09, use nylon screws under the 4 corners of the plate for 100% leveling.
It worked for me :)
