Great tips! I’m gonna put Hydretain down soon because the Chicagoland rain will probably come to an abrupt end. Lawn really struggled with dry conditions last summer! 🥵
Great video Kyle !! Excellent tips and so well explained. My back yard got destroyed last year by grubs because I misdiagnosed and kept treating for fungus…. Rookie mistake. So I’m in complete recovery mode this year.
Thanks, buddy! It’s like clockwork, once we get to 150, if I haven’t applied fungicide, the fungus starts to show up. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!
I’m about to have new sod “st agustine “ in Arlington Texas , how could I make sure it turns out great? 1. Water daily twice 2. When should I fertilizer? What type? Scott’s started fertilizer? Thanks in advance.
I understand the concept of manually pulling weeds when they pop up. That sounds fine for weeds like plantains and broadleaf weeds, but what about clover and the tiny weeds? I’d have to crawl around with tweezers to get those lol
@@lakehouselawncare1755 I’ve got so much respect for you. My neighbors already think I’m crazy enough 😂 but with a baby coming home soon I was thinking about trying to stay away from that harmful stuff. Thanks for the motivation
Great tips as always Kyle! Grub prevention app and prodiamine round 2 went down last Friday for me. Gonna wait until June 1st to hit it with hopefully stress blend from Yard Mastery and Lawn Root Moisturizer from Bio-Advanced (same product as hydretain pretty much)
Hey Cedric, that I have done professionally once a year. You need special equipment to grind a reel. I was referring to my rotary blade. Thanks for watching and commenting.

What’s up Mike?! Shirts are $25 and you can pay on Venmo (@Kyle-Colborn) or Zelle (Kyle Colborn). What size would you like? I will ship it to you tomorrow morning.
@@lakehouselawncare1755 we had a terrible month of dry weather right now, but the thing I hate the most is that I'd love to have a lawn like yours! But the grasseeds and fertilizers and stuff are so different around here and that bums me out! But keep doing what you do man! I will keep watching for sure 🇧🇪
If you're only putting down .5-1lb N in the spring, I know you're not putting much down in the summer. I saw a video last year that you put down .25-.5lb N every other week in late summer early fall. So are you barely getting 3lb of N in your yard per year?
Yes! You’re right. I usually put down 1 pound in the spring and then 3 pounds in the falls. A little less on the front yard since it is shaded. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Greenecharge is magic! Anyone who wants green fast it’s the love!
I agree! It’s the real deal. Thanks for the comment, Steve!
I Could see the robin patrolling the lawn behind you. 😁
Haha he always joins me for some lawn work. Thanks for watching, Allyn!
Great job soldier 💪
Thank you, Faith!
Very informative, down to eath explanations, professional like. Thank you for your time 😊

Great video as always! Never heard the 150 rule before. I will definitely steal that one! 😜

More good tips like always. Didn’t know about the 150 for fungus, and I’ve had my 3b license in Indiana.
Thank you, Luke! Yes, pithium is the worst at 150 or above. Those two fungicides keep it in check though. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great info Kyle! Looking good bud.... 👍🏼🔥
Thanks, Nate! I hope all is well my friend.

I would put Coop Poop on the soil under the sod and water it 3 times a day for 2 weeks.
Sup Kyle!

You’re the man, Coach J! Cool season in Florida must be challenging in the summer. I’m trying to be like you with the tropical plants and palms.
Will you consider doing a video on how you sharpen your Toro GM 1000 blade

You don't like dandelions or grassy weeds Kyle?!? 😂
😂😂 I think you and I both have the same feelings toward them.
What are your thoughts on Chick-n-poo?
I think it is awesome for over seeding, new sod, And a fall application. My lawn has never looked better after using it in the fall.
How do I buy a Lakehouse Lawn Care tshirt?
