And I'm like you, usually animal print has no appeal for me, but very occasionally, one does catch my eye. The one that you showed is very lovely! It's the colors that got me! I'm not a lover of animal print fabrics as a general rule - but I am drawn to leopard print when it's coloured and I love your leopard print fabric. I think it will make a lovely body suit. I look forward to seeing what you sew up xx
Please let us know how to make an ironing board cover. Ready made ones are awful and expensive. How lovely to make doggie pyjamas for your much loved furry family member. I'm not a leopard print person either, but I do love yours. I've seen it made up into different garments and loved it every time. I love the Patina Blouse, too. I have made one and will definitely make more.

Can’t wait for the ironing board cover! You’re right, they never fit! Just a word of warning for the heat resistant fabric, don’t use your fabric scissors, it might ruin them. Use a rotary cutter or paper scissors. I am making the Know me dress in the fabric from SHJ with short sleeves and with slightly shortened long length view.
You asked for recommendations, here is my two cents worth. The vogue dress 9076 for the main fabric from your speciality box would be stunning on you. Sian, from kittenish behaviour, has a video review of this pattern and the changes she made to it. It would be very flattering on you.

I agree the fuchsia print is too warm for you. The cooler blue tones look so much better for your skin tone. I’m not surprised you lost your sewjo given how hard you worked on your Vlogmas. The leopard print has nice cool colors, but the shades are “happy” so fit your personality. Like the fabric for the Patina blouse. I want to make that pattern this year.
You could try the Style Arc Belle Dress for the the lovely flowery viscose. I've recently made it a few times and I absolutely love each version I've made. (Highly recommend looking for the sewalong/tutorials here on youtube though, as I definitely struggled with the instructions in the pattern! But once I could see what I was meant to do, none of it was particularly tricky.) Lovely haul! Can't wait to see what you make with it. 💙

I'm the same as you about animal print, but Andrea from Beyond the Pink Door had some gorgeous animal print, just like yours, but with an aqua background, and I NEEDED it. I think I'm slowly warming to it. Now I'm thinking I want a snow leopard print. I don't know what's happening to me either.

Have you been to Tavistock Scrapstore? Stumbled on it last week and popped in …. Bought a lovely piece of green silk for £3, enough to make a summer top with short sleeves …. Some lovely vintage dressmaking pattern too

With the fabric from your sewhayleyjane box how about McCalls 8406 quite a few options re sleeves or style arc Belle dress - both quite floaty & would look lovely in that viscose fabric. Leopard print, wow a very different look for you but think in those colours would look amazing. Have to agree I’m not a lover of leopard print but do love the colour you chose. Sweatshirt grey is lovely & will go with so many things. Looks like your getting your sew jo back & look forward to seeing your makes. Ps your doggie will look super smart in his coat bless him.❤
