Did you interface the wasteband at the rivets? Interfacing at rivets and button holes gives the garment added support. Therefore the button holes won't stretch out of shape and the rivets won't pop off. Happy Sewing 🧵🪡👗💖
I was going to say the same thing
That's a great idea! Thankyou 😊!!
Love these videos so much!!!
Hmmmmm clean the oven or go to the beach…… I think you made the right decision 😂😂😂😂 ❤❤❤
I defo made the right decision 😂😂😂
Hope your race went well and your foot held up 🎉🏃🏻♀️➡️
Your last outfit did Not look like PJs it look lovely smart. 🌸
It went well! Thankyou 😊!!
Thanks for sharing video of your beautiful area and your lovely makes! A possible fix your the grommet fail on your hoodie, is the replace with buttonholes.
Aaahh that's such a good idea - Thank you ❤️
Lots of lovely makes. I've been eyeing that McCalls pattern for a while and think I need to take the plunge! This is my first me made May and I plan to follow your lead on analyzing my makes. Looking forward to the next installment!
Aahh it’s a great pattern - go for it.
Thank you 🥰
😅 you are so funny today ❤
Day 7 shirt looks good but you might like the bottom band that keeps the cropped look but keeps the middle covered. I like the hood lining you chose.
Thankyou 😊!!
Your enthusiasm is back! Fun video that bubbles with good plans! Yea!,,,
Love beach filming ❤❤❤
Thank you ❤️
Great vlog as always your daughters skirt will look stunning when you have sewn it enjoy the sunshine ❤❤
Thankyou 😊!!
I think it is useful to have multiple denim jackets! I have white, blue and black!
Have a great 5k run!
I always watch your videos. I am much older but our shape is similar so I always feel safe in sewing something that looks good on you. You have a real good sense of knowing what suits your body type. Sometimes you push the comfort zone boundaries which is always a delight!
Thankyou that is so sweet 😊!!
I enjoy watching your vlogs and think it's a great idea to record your thoughts on what is missing from your wardrobe. Recently I found a really useful tip about eyelet insertion on knit waistbands on the Guthrie and Ghani website (in the Blogs tab) that you may find helpful too. Lauren shows how to apply a small piece of interfacing and dense weave cotton before attaching the eyelet, as she makes a pair of Poppy and Jazz Birch trousers for her little boy a few years back. I followed this and found it worked perfectly adding a lot of strength and stability to the eyelet insertion on my project. I do hope you may find this useful for your lovely Chalk and Notch Hoodie.
Thankyou 😊!! Thankyou also for the recommendation, I will check it out!
Inserting elastic instead of drawstring sounds like a great save for this gorgeous jumper. I don't like drawstrings around my waist so I'm planning to hack a similar jumper (P4P Sporty Piko) to have an elastic in the channel instead of the drawstring. Bummer about the grommets though
That's a great idea!
Good yes
🥰🥰🥰
Hi Angela,
The last outfit looks great. (Not at all looking like PJs on the screen😊).
Thankyou 😊!!
How's John's knee? Great way to take a look at your makes in May!
He's doing much better now thankyou!
Love all of your outfits……your last one made me smile…..I have just finished exact same outfit in navy viscose and asked my husband if it looks like p.j’s! He said no, & he’s always honest (!)…..seeing yours made me feel better, they look gorgeous! You should definitely wear them!
Well at least he's honest! Thankyou 😊!!
I love your faux jumpsuit Angela, I have both those patterns so I'm thinking of copying you - hope you don't mind! Always an inspiration, thank you x
Thankyou 😊!! Of course not, go for it!
Great video Angela. Love all your outfits. Looking forward to seeing the items you cutout sewn up, and seeing Part3 next week. Lovely to see you and Helen together. Thankyou😊
Thankyou 😊!!
You could make the tee version of the stasia dress.
Great idea - Thank you 🥰
Yah! Angela is back and has bought her mojo! Just need to get those buttonholes stitched and you’re there 😉
Loved your outfits, the Friday fau jumpsuit was great, not at all like PJs. Great to see the lovely Helen and saw you in Kara’s vlog too.
I haven’t made as many clothes as you but am trying to wear something out of my wardrobe I haven’t worn for a while which will help me analyse what I have and what is missing. Thanks for brightening my day. See you next week ❤
Aahh thank you Yvonne that’s so kind of you 🥰
I hope that you are enjoying reflecting and analysing your wardrobe - it’s been very enlightening for me!
Thank you 🥰
Thanks for sharing Angela. 💙🧶🌈🍓
Thanks for watching!
Im so glad you are going to do the buttonholes and button on your dress it would be such a shame not to finish, love your plans xx
Thankyou 😊!!
Your makes always fit so well. My makes seem to ride up at the front. Do you have to do a full bust adjustment to your patterns?
Sometimes I need to adjust them - I am narrower at the shoulder and fuller at the bust - so they don't always work as per the pattern.
Thank you 🥰
Oh my days I've just got m7166 in the hobbycraft sale. Planning to do the crossover one. I like empire line too, I like soi aida but changing to a v neck using the whitley top like jacqui did. Post is really slow still waiting for the lea pattern to arrive. Lovely vlog x
Ah amazing! Thankyou 😊!!
I love the M7116 on you. Do you what size you made by any chance? I love watching your vlogs!
Aaahh thank you so much - that's really lovely of you.
Yes - I made the size 14 - hope that helps 🥰
Last outfit does NOT look like PJs! Every outfit has merit. I think you are happy after lots of exercise! 10k run? Oh my!
Thankyou 😊!!
