    Lovely makes Angela! You always look great but wear what brings you joy 🤩. I think you might be happier in slightly longer jersey dresses without pockets and for the summer jumpsuits and dresses and T-shirts. Love a T-shirt! Roll on summer! Well done for your run and hoping all ok at the vets. Keep smiling 😊 it really suits you ❤ xxx

    I just finished watching all 3 of your videos for Me May Made that you've done so far. I love the way you are participating. I will plan to do that. Just starting now because I think that will really help me decide WHAT to sew. It can get so overwhelming with all the lovely things to make. TY

    Hi Angela, if you love the Lotta dress by TATB, have a go at hacking the skirt together with the bodice from this Bettine pattern. Really easy to do and is great for those of us who love a scoopy neckline. Loving series MMM series. It’s giving me plenty of sewing inspiration. Love Karen x

    Hello Angela, I‘m so much enjoying you MMM videos! Although my own personal style is a bit different (apart from the universal jeans and t-shirt/jumper look 😊) I find it so interesting and motivating!! Looking forward to the next part 😍

    I’m with you Angela, I went through a real phase of T-shirt dresses but now I find them too close-fitting and too warm. I seem to be all about natural woven fabrics atm, whereas previously I was all about the knits! Funny how times and fashions change, but it makes it more fun for those of us who sew! 🧵

    You said you feel too warm in the T-shirt dresses…. Have you thought of making those patterns in wick-away fabric for summer? Maybe that is hard to find…. The harlequin fabric dress is less clingy and looks like you are more comfortable wearing it. Also slightly longer than the others …more flattering. Very nice

    I think your Agnes dress suits you much better than the Stasia 😜, perhaps wearing it when it’s at the very beginning of spring will make it less hot, you could wear it with skin coloured tights. I am in love with your Avenir, it’s such beautiful colourful fabric, right up my street lol. Well done with your run! Love the top tucked into jeans, my aim once the muffin top has gone lol xx

    Love your avenir jumpsuit. I’ve just finished the Wendy ward Derwent trousers, they are very wide legged. I’m sure Sara took some width out of the legs on her ones so I did the same. So just to warn u lol I think I like them. Just need to give them an outing now to be totally sure 😂

    Hi. It’s good to see you are enjoying this exercise. I have loved everything you have worn, the first dress did remind me of a tennis dress, do you play? I’m so pleased to see you are making the Lea dress, so lovely and the fabric is nice, although can’t remember what it is. And that you are embracing buttonholes lol 😊. I haven’t as many me made clothes as you, not sure if I said that before but am wearing things I haven’t worn for a long time and assessing those. I’ve also been adding my patterns to stashhub and throwing out/donating those I don’t like any more or are too small for me. I have plenty of good ones I like but it’s also helping me identify what’s missing so thanks for inspiration ❤

    Great vlog, Elysian body suit is fab, and I’ve made quite a few, tip is check the top section for length as it needs to come under the boobs, i add 1.5 inches on to mine, once you get that bit sorted its a great and actually comfortable body suit, and easy adapted for poppers. Thank you for taking the time to share

    I thought that green dress you've decided to ditch looked fabulous on you.Totally understand if it's purely on the basis of being too hot.
    On the driving range experience - you were using one of the most difficult clubs possible!!! If it was a man's driver that's even more difficult. Next time, if there is a next time, use a 9 or 7 iron. Gives you a much better chance of connecting with the ball and it has nothing to do with hitting the ball hard, it's down to timing. A friend of mine took up golf in her late 50s, she's totally unsporting, but is now absolutely hooked and it's her and her friends who go to Portugal, and the like, for golfing holidays, rather than the men!!
    Love your videos and very jealous of that fabulous countryside around.

    Your clothes all fit you so well. Do you have to alter them? Do you have to do a full bust adjustment?

    • @DevonThreadTales
      @DevonThreadTales  3 месяца назад

      Sometimes I need to adjust them - I am narrower at the shoulder and fuller at the bust - so they don't always work as per the pattern.

    Could you turn the dress into a t-shirt instead? Natural fibres help for feeling hot try linen, hemp, even a light weight merino.
