    That`s a good one, Steve.... I have to try this on a plant that`s growing near my camp and it`s invasive they say....I`ve been cutting them back every year but they just keep on coming back....CHEERS

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  2 года назад

      Gator salt will not only kill the plant but it kills the soil for about 2 years and prevents anything from growing , oh ya it's powerful stuff 👍

    How's she goin'? This will be an interesting experiment. I hope it works for ya. I spread water softening salt in our lake around the dock to deter the leeches when the grand kids are swimming. It sure works for that!!! Take care!!

    We use that salt in our swimming area of our pond . So we dont have leaches in swimming area.
    Pond is stalked with trout and it doesnt hurt the fish at all or the frogs.
    Infact the fish like it.
    The people at the hatchery said they accturally throw some in for the fish every do often fish need it.
    There is cattails right there and we alwat throw some into the cattails incase leaches ate hiding in there and it hasnt hurt them ay all they just keep growing.
    The best way to get the cattails undet control is to pull them out.
    We have use a drag setup
    Just some field harrow drop in and pull it out with quad ur pickup

    Well heck I wanna see how this ends. I've used salt, vinegar & water solution to kill weeds & it works great. I'm kinda certain that the living creatures in that water probably were not too happy about all that salt addition & died too. Have a great Sunday Steve :))

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  2 года назад

      Paivi it's a logical solution so let's see next summer if they survive over the winter.

    We're going to try it in our creek. The cattails are blocking the water flow...

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  2 года назад +1

      Kathleen if the waterflow is not moving the salt will work but if you have too much water flow it will just wash downstream. Cheers 👍

    the spring dosnt feed your main water supply ? if it dose id expect the ground would filter the salt out

    • @SteveRobReviews
      @SteveRobReviews  2 года назад

      This is just for washing only . Not sure what the salt will do over time .
