Muzzle brake is wobbly on LCT and E&L, it wobbles even on real russian made aks so it's a 100% feature.

Hiya. It was just an idea one day that actually people may not run my specific type so thought it would be good. Testing with the included nihm type was a suggestion from a subscriber as I always assumed that people bin them straight away (like I do) but people want to know how it will run with the included one. CYMA always delivers when it comes to AKs. I have the CYMA AK-47S,AKM and AK-74M (first two are full metal/real wood and the third full metal)and they are absolutely fantastic. I've been thinking of getting this one as well for some time now and I'm starting to think I should.

I got this exact gun just before the lockdown from TaiwanGun. Mine was surprisingly well shimmed and greased out of the box. The new style (blue) internals are pretty decent with a good airseal. My flash-hider is solid. Stock was slightly more wobbly than yours, I've added some cardboard to pack it out. The stock (neo magnet) motor is snappy enough in semi, but my ROF isn't quite as quick as yours even with brand new 7.4 LiPos so I will replace it at some point. Overall, an impressive gun for the price, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I’ve owned two of these in the past and they are great guns out of the box. Watched your video and went and bought the Cyma 040 AKS74u still as good as ever, range is ok but I will S.hop and use .32 on 7.4 LiPo. Great video as usual.
I had a question I just bought an. Ak74un. I installed a mosphet and like u I want to run a 7.4 and my go to are.30 are there some things that I can do to achieve this efficiently...

and btw the mags on the AKS-74U and the original wood stock/handguard AK-74 are made of bakelite irl which gives them the brown look
Ive got one of these, almost identical but made by APS internals are ever so slightly different in places but its a superb gun and i bought it for £50 used
I've not tried the APS one, but at £50 that's a great bargain! Dropped on well with that! Pheas
You don't need to go the optical mosfet route ,a gate nano hard will sort out the double tap issue on a 11.1 lipo .get the 1450 mah nuprol stick lipo and it leaves plenty of room for a mosfet . Fitted loads of them to all types of AK,s and it transforms them . Optical mosfets are a pain in the arse doesn't matter what brand they are .with a external mosfet if it fails ( and that is very rare with gate nano mosfets) you can unplug in it and replace it with a new one .also if you want more features you can plug in a warfet with no modifications to the wiring .

I have one of these with a Bulgarian furniture kit, and an EO 552. These are really well made comparatively speaking to the real Iszmash and Tula AKs. Great vid and breakdown 👍🏻
I wrote a comment on the disassembly video about if buying this was a good choice.
Since yesterday I noticed that not only the muzzle booster is wobbly (unless you know where the screwing ends), but so is the magazine when moved sideways. Good thing I bought a mid-cap that fits nice and tight, as expected.
I'm looking at getting a bunch of mags for this ak, can you direct me to the proper mid-cap mags that don't wobble? thanks.
Of the four CYMA AK's I own this is my favorite it's well worth the money.
Some complain about the sights being of canter a tad. That won't bug me much tho haha.
You don't even need a optical mosfet and mosfet with active breaking would work or just leave it be a run a 9.6nihm or 7.4lipo and upgrade the inner barrel, hop unit and hop rubber and you'd have a decent gun.... No LCT but a decent gun, I just ordered a Wolverine Reaper Gen2 for my PDW-M and I also ordered a V3 trigger board and AK nozzle spring so I could order a AK74u and remove the stock to make it look like a Draco and I'd be able to switch my HPA kit back and forth as I please
i really can't decide between this or the 105. i know i really won't notice a big difference performance wise...the only reason im leaning towards this is because i know some of the 74/105 variants can be a somewhat front heavy. probably gonna do a mock supressor to hide a longer inner barrel

I have the polymer hand guard version with the blue internals, Fitted a Gate Warfet and Short stroked 13:1s and its awesome.
Planning on doing the same with mine minus the short stroke. After trigger response more than RPS. So I'll be turning it down with the warfet and leave smart trigger on
is the warfet worth it for this? thinking od buing and tuning this gun

How about an update on this one? its way more than just a cqb gun,just done some serious range comparison with mine against various stock and upgraded guns including longer barrel AK47 with 6.02 barrel and it was on .20 for baseline purposes .25 for an upgrade and .28 for possible best consistently the most accurate and longest range of all ...32 grouped great but like all the others moving so slow at measured 55-60m they could be side stepped actual effective range ( I determine as minimum 50% into chest sized target )with .28 was 55m on semi and full..could stretch hits to 60-62m 2/10 shots kind of frequency.Brother used mine shooting at me for that range test and ordered one His has just arrived from Daves Custom Airsoft..Bargain on Black Friday offer at £135 Easily out of my 12 mid level guns the best.everyone should have one or at very least try one and then fight to join the queue to buy one
good to hear did you test it with this exact GYMA one? becouse im thinking about buying the more expensive LCT version.
With that over spin on an 11.1 this gun is a really good contender for a short stroking job as with that barrel length you can easily cut away 4 pick up teeth and put a heavier spring in without having to worry about barrel length, that’s what I would do atleast, or. ab mosfet wiill stop the overspin
I shortened my inner barrel so I can run a tracer, but with an SHS M110 13:1s and short stroked 3 teeth mine hits 325-327 fps which is perfect for my local CQB site

Same with mine even though its an older cyma. I did check the motor and for a neo motor, not a lot of torque. I also checked the shims and the bevil gear has a little bit of play and i but i can just add a shim or 2 and it will fix it. I didnt actually remove the gearbox. I will get an asg 25k infinity or lonex a2.

It doesn't matter how wobbly the cone is it's not going to come loose because of the detent.

Hiya. This will definitely make a good second rifle. Even out if the box it's excellent but it's also a great base to build on and upgrade when you feel the need to improve rate of fire, fps and so on. Really good choice to be honest! Especially if you are looking for something compact. Pheas

Consider a specna core, they should restock sometime this month and performance wise they are a bit better, but the cm045 is a good gun
Get it it better then 99% of gun in it price range. Also it a vfc clone so easy to disassemble, and it a v3 gearbox so durability it gonna last long.
the "softair licensed" version is on sale for $120 right now
these guns run better stock with a 8.4 lithium, accurate fire rate and it doesn’t run the gears down

Hiya. You can remove the cones, underneath is an adapter that converts the normal 14mm negative thread to the one needed for the cone, all can be removed and changed to have whatever muzzle device you like on it. Hope that helps! Pheas

In the UK a few years back we went through a similar time of it, where they wanted to kill the sport because our RIFS were used in a couple of armed robberies, in the end it was a hard fought battle, but self governance (the whole skirmisher defence / ukara type system) is what was agreed on to save the sport. Im thinking about buying this from someone for £320 comes with scope mount suppressor 2 extra mags batteries and charger is that a good deal ?
Hiya. Unless they have done significant upgrades. It's not a good deal. The base 045a is currently £140..mags are about £10 each... Scope mount about £10 and the suppressors are cheap too... It's not a good deal at all. For that I wouldnt look to pay more than about £140 at the most .

is it good for use on the field? i mean, is there a big difference in accuracy and range between this and a m4 for example?
Hiya. I generally find that there isn't much difference between most aegs on the field, unless you have sunk some money into upgrades like a tight bore and hop rubber etc. In which case you won't notice much difference from other things, unless it's something like a MAC10 or scoprian they just can't quite seem to keep up. But generally out of the box they are pretty damn good! Pheas

Hello! They are pretty light, with the main bulk in the middle, It wont be as light as lets say a plastic bodied one, but certainly lighter than full length AK in full metal and wood. Pheas

Do you have to wind the magazine to have it shoot or is it like automatic?
Hello, the magazine included in the box is a high cap, so for the bbs to feed into the gun there is a winding wheel to tension a spring, which will feed them into the gun. You could replace them with midcap mags, which use a compression spring (compressed by bbs being put into the mag) which doesnt need to be wound up, but does need filling with a speed loader. Newbe will short barrel affect range over a longer barrel ak or we playing that low fps it wont matter
Hello! The length of the barrel doesnt really change anything about range, range is controlled by the quality of the hop effect applied to the bb and the fps (to an extent). The length can help to stabilise the flight of the bb more but very little difference would be seen really. Pheas
Am i wrong to think that the longer inner barrel wil not work well with a tracer unit?
Hiya. If the inner goes into the tracer then it will cause the light gates to not spot the BB properly. You could get a shorter inner barrel, or many just buy a 1 or 2 inch barrel extension and mount the tracer unit on that to save hassle. Hope they helps! Pheas
Does it support cyma ak 47 mags? Also wich battery and loader are safe to use on this if I buy a lipo?
Hello! It "should" in theory take the cyma ak47 mags, might need a little bit of filing to get them to full fit, but I am pretty sure it just works with them as standard. I would get a stick lipo (around 1200mah) to fit in the top cover. As for a charger I would get Imax B6 charger for the battery (only charge at 1amp max to maintain cell health) Pheas

Hello! The included battery will last you a few mags of ammo and that will be about it. Depending on your shooting needs I'd consider a 7.4v stick or 11.1v stick lipo (probably need two to last a full day) that will run it really nice . Pheas

@@chaosbuilder1531 Typically the Mah just indicates how long it will last, get the biggest you can get into the space without damage / force being needed, depending on how trigger happy you are might need 2 for a full day. For my aks that take a battery in the top, i get 1000 to 1200 mah batteries in there and i swap them at lunch and never needed more than that. Pheas

Hiya. Thats a tough one I will be honest! If it was me... I would go for the CM.045A firstly because I am biased towards AK varients , secondly CYMA are a long term proven entity and likley to be reliable in the long term. The Specna stuff looks really really nice and gets some good reviews but I also see a lot of negative comments about reliability issues and questionable quality issues. I think it will come down to what you are likely wanting to go for in terms of appearance really as both can be tweaked endlessly internally, it will be easier to change the external look of the specna with it being an AR varient there are significantly more externals available to you, not so much for the AK.... BUT... ITS A METAL AND WOOD AK UUUUURRRRRAAAAAA!!! Pheas

Can you run a 7.4v lips in the cybergun version?
Yes any gun can run a 7.4 lipo it little weaker then 9.6 but it doesn't lose charge, and also don't get the cybergun version it not the same just get CYMA it a cm.045
CQB beast with a 450fps stock velocity

(STOCK velocity, Taiwangun’s spring change service doesn’t count.)
It is ouch, if you are running it at that FPS. But in the UK you can't run that FPS, not even as a DMR. It has to, by law, be running at 350 or lower. But the form factor of the gun itself is very much useful for cqb because of how tiny it is with the stock folded. I wouldn't want to catch a 450fps bb in CQB to be fair. Pheas
Does anyone know what spring is fitted to these. The one I have is firing at 360fps. So it's not site legal in the UK and need to install a lower power spring.
From the factory they are something around m120 rated maybe higher, a 100 rated spring should bring you below 350 fps. A 90 spring will give you closer to 300. Pheas

Hello! Yes you can. it will add more stress to the internals, but it will run, if anything, the Piston will likely need replacing eventually, but should run happily for some time before that. Pheas

Hiya, it would very much depend on the type you have, there isn't a lot of room under the cover so it would have to be some very thin cells to fit in there. A single stick type 11.1v would be better I think. Pheas

What is the difference between 035 and 045?
Hiya, from what I can see, they seem to be slightly different build / assembly styles. The cm.045 seems (from what the internet suggests) follows the VFC build style which allows it to take real steel hand guards if you wanted to fit those, and offers better strength over all and rigidity. Hello! Out of the box, at UK speed limits you are looking at around 40 meters, maybe a little more. With a better hop rubber and barrel you could be well over 50 meters. Pheas
Where can I get a after market battery in Canada
Hiya, I think the best thing to do would be to find the reiews for the various airsoft retailers, or find a company in canda that does remote control vehicles as they often use lipos and see what kind of deals you can get. airsoftdepot.ca/ came up as the top / best reviewed retailer for lipos in Canada. Do dog of war mags fit in it?
hiya! I found Cyma, JG, TM high caps all fit and fed. I didn't have access to any other brands, but if they are TM style AK high caps they should work in it. Pheas

What was your fps out of the box?
Hiya. I had mine downgraded before arriving so it was around 330 fps but I believe the standard is between 390 and 410 fps. Hope that helps. Pheas

Hiya! If it was me.... this all day long. I love AKs too much! Plus excellent build quality, bigger high cap capacity (if thats your thing) and the Version 3 gearboxes of an AK are stronger than Version 2 gearboxes in AR types. Plus an AK like this is just cooler than an M4 ha hah a. Pheas

Hiya, under the muzzle break is a (I think) 22mm adapter, but that can be removed (undo the grub screw first) and that will leave you with a 14mm negative thread underneath. I hope that helps! Pheas
You ever mess with the 9.9v LiFePo batteries? I use one in my Thompson and Alien Pulse Rifle. Sort of a Step between the 7.4v and 11.1v Lipo. Charges like a 11.1v Lipo.

It's something I've seen but never really got involved in as I've always been so happy with the lipos I run (been using them for years) I will take more of a look at them and see what they are like. The "Tan" mags are actually bakelite and far from tan but other than that amazing stuff haha
that mag isn't tan. Its imitation Bakelite.
