Why there are literally no Indians working in any F1 teams? I know many people who studied engineering masters in the UK but didn't get a chance in motorsport. The university recruitment board openly told that there is a negligible chance to get into F1 if you are not European or British.
P.S.: I am aware of the visa rules. So if we don't get a chance to work then how do they expect us to get a visa in just. Its a vicious circle and its sad.

its rare because in India sadly motorsport community is highly neglected and because of that there's not been enough opportunities for us to gain experience.. even if we get into a univ in uk we still need to work in motorsport for quite some time before finally making it to F1
i really hope this fact changes in time

@@aniruddhaverulkar3841 No. This I know by doing some extensive research and interaction with friends and students who were doing/have completed masters in UK

Im sure that is not only happened to Indians but all people who are not European or British. Countries got rules to protect their local students from unemployment which is make sense to me and this rule should apply to any countries. Another thing is, most of the European and British teenagers got experience in motorsports and race engineering when young which is a big advantage compare to most of the teens from other country. What would you pick if you were the HR. I believe Foreigners got negligible easily was because of their skill set and experience but not your nationality.

@@tszchungnate9589 Yes you are correct. "Diversity" in motorsports exists only for the people who are citizens of UK. Not for the people around the world who come to UK as students and thrive, become better and employable but don't carry around a UK passport. Makes sense.
