My channel is starting to do pretty well (better than my original timeline/expectations!) but still not monetized. I'm so worried/embarrassed about my family discovering I'm a RUclipsr, especially when I'm with my parents and they see how much time investment it is for no monetary return (because it's a long game, and this isn't all about the money for me anyways!)

Oh I feel this too 😅 the awkwardness of being a creator!
So I have been saying that even though it’s taking a long time, so does running marathons and playing concert piano! I’m doing this for fulfillment. The monetary benefits will follow because it’s an evergreen platform. A type of art where I can share my thoughts and experiences.
