Paul McCartney is the reason I am a bass player today. It is not the original Cavern but the locals are being entertained by one of their own. Great set! Paul has made a career of doing what he loves! If only I could be so lucky. Rock on Paul!

This is the best concert, I adore Paul, I’m so enjoying this, what a voice, what a writer and apart from being a gorgeous looking man, he has the best personality, I love his stories and he makes me laugh, I was at the Caven with a friend of mine just before COVID struck, only one disappointment, Paul wasn’t there!😢
I heard ‘Band on the run’ from the smoking are of the turtle bay restaurant that back onto Mathew street about 4 doors down from the cavern, remarked to my Girlfriend ‘Now that is a fucking fantastic cover’ and went back in to eat my curry. Found out the next day it was Paul McCartney doing a surprise live show. Absolutely phenomenal!

The Beatles were my first real intro to music. I was 12 when She Loves You came out. Hard to explain how much they changed everything I loved about music. Luckily I lived in Ny in 69 and went to Woodstock. I was 18 and had front row seats for the whole trip. nough,said Been to every show at the Fillmore East and Madison Square Garden they ever had. Not bragging, just saying, nothing ever done me, like the Beatles done me. love you Paul. 40 Years of missing John still saddens me

Bit late picking up on this epic show. The band are awesome and Paul just keeps on going. Amazing. Was 11 when 'Love me do' was released and that was me hooked. Been a massive Beatles fan ever since. Lockdown has given me a chance to be nostalgic and I'm soaking up everything Beatle related on You tube. Having a great time !!

Went to the Cavern in 2016. Spent 4 nights there. Saw some great local bands. What a special place.

Clapton did an incredible concert not long ago that I would have given my eye teeth to attend!
Thankfully at least someone recorded it with high quality audio and video so I almost feel like I was there.

When I was at the Cavern and looking at the stage you could almost see the lads. Had a hard time finding space on the brick walls to sign my name...but it is there.

I just can't help not to imagine the FAB4 playing again in this historic place, soooo sad it can't be done 😢 😪
John always oppose a Beatles reunion, but at the same time, he was unpredictable. When Paul went to him in April 1976 and saw that the Saturday night live show was offering the Beatles a few dollars for the reunion, he was the one who suggested that Paul go to the show (only a flew blocks away) without warning. This story was confirmed several times by both. You can see the story of that day in the movie "Two of us" Who knows, if John hadn't been murdered and George hadn't died, maybe John, knowing that Paul wanted to play at the Cavern would have phoned him saying "Hey Macca I heard you'll play at the Cavern , if you call George and Ringo, I'll come too.
This place is not the original Cavern.

Finally I get to see it but the audio is absolutely shit sounding. MPL need to issue this on LP, CD and DVD/Blu-Ray.
My hearing has been ruined by too many Ramones shows, but I found the audio quite good.

@@doctorrobert1339 The club is almost microscopic. There isn't any more than about, maybe, 100 people in the audience. I'm sure it wasn't much better there at the moment
