Flacid House The song is 100% clear it’s about bullying. With out Paul having to say it is. The lyrics speak for them self. I think it’s pretty clear you’re the one who’s a little off about this song. As someone who’s experienced bullying first hand and lost family members to it this song means a lot to me. Please take your nonsense elsewhere. Peace and love ✌️
I ❤️ this song. It’s one of McCartney’s songs that I can listen too over, and over, and over again. Never getting tired of it. The louder the better. It’s good for when you are sad, frustrated, annoyed, or just need a pick me up. The beat, the lyrics, the whole song from beginning to end is just inspiring. Sir Paul McCartney has such an encouraging heart ❤️.
Hi dear👋🌹How are you doing I hope you’re well. thanks for watching and commenting on my RUclips channel God bless you and I hope you don’t stop with your love and support I truly appreciate your love and support throughout the years🥰🌹🤍.
I wasn't even in Kindergarten yet, when the Beatles came to America. I wasn't even a thought when John, Paul, and George first got together. Now I am getting old with several major health issues. Paul McCartney continues to rock and entertain. MIND BLOWING!!!
Paul could have done a song about anything, and he chose to bring attention to something that's a real problem for a lot of people, especially young people trying to find out who they are. Good on him. This guy's body of work just gets bigger and bigger, and is still great and meaningful.
wow... someone decided to take the blue pill... You must be very comfy in your denial of Paul McCartney's decline with this horrible, horrible album...
@@buckingham412 While there are other songs Paul's written in the past 20 years that I find more catchy for their musical qualities, I really appreciate the song's message here. He could've done a lot worse about choosing a message for this song. Plus, the video is a bit visually reminiscent of acts like Bowie ("Ashes to Ashes"), Visage ("Fade to grey"), and other early-80s New Romantic acts, which can be nice to look at if you're into that sort of thing. I also like the whimsical framing narrative with Paul as this kind of doctor or psychologist, and how warm and nostalgic this framing story looks because it was shot on 16mm reversal Ektachrome. Paul may be playing around a little for fun with acting as a character like that here, and with some of the symbols in the entire video for their aesthetic quality, but I bet he's taking that a lot less seriously than all those annoying conspiracy nuts here in the comments. Paul's not dead and he's not part of some ebil cabal to rule the world, and you guys are not "cool" or "witty" by how you keep pushing those hoaxes.
Self-esteem and self-care seems to be getting more important, and becoming more and more of a problem. I think the message of the song is the most important thing here, and I love the end of the video when there's a note to remember her umbrella. She walked into that interview soaked from the rain-- It was a symbol of her lacking self care. I recognize the song as a potential 'type' of decline, when you compare it to other songs, but McCartney could have retired if he wanted to. I think he makes music because he loves it, and he will continue to do it until he can't. And in the spirit of that, I can't complain, and I can say that this song helped me a little bit, because I have an interview today and I'm having some issues with self-esteem, and this song kinda gave me a nice lift. So, I think he's doing what he set out to do, for at least one person. Me. :P
I've been a Beatles fan for many years now and have literally just heard this song for the first time. It has been a strangely sad week in my hometown as a few days ago, a young kid jumped from a tenth floor flat window. Stories report it was due to bullying. Only two weeks ago, in another part of the Country, two twins of just 12 years old did the same. Hearing the lyrics to this song in Paul's inimitable way really puts things into perspective, and I wish these poor individuals could have heard this song in the hope that things could have, possibly turned out differently. Be good to each other 👍👍
My favorite actress and singer is in the same video, with a song that is such a piece of art. What else can I wish? Tsm Paul and Emma for giving me MY therapy.💗
This must have been such a dream come true for Emma, because I know she’s a huge Beatles fan. (She got a tattoo on her wrist because of their song Blackbird)
I'd be honored if some McCartney fans would check out my acoustic piano & vocal interpretation of Sir Paul's early masterpiece BLACKBIRD on my YT channel. Live acoustic with no autotune. Thanks and happy holidays.
Never in the field of entertainment, and music, has so much been owed, by so many, to one man. Paul, and The Beatles, have made an immeasurable mark on our planet, and lifted our hearts, with so much joy, for so long. Paul, i cannot thank you enough, for all that you have given me, for all of my life. An absolute inspiration to millions. Long live Paul, forever…..
Get real. He's a singer/songwriter/entertainer. The humanities include ancient and modern languages, literature, philosophy, history, human geography, law, politics, religion, and art. You're trying to tell me that Paul McCartney single handedly has transcended all of these with his music? He's great, but nope.
He is a genius And he is alive A living genius Hey Paul, sucha a nice title for a song! "A Living genius" Many many thanks for be there doing you music all my life (I born 1963) Greetings from my far Argentina, and welcome here soon!
@@황성진-b7h if free speach triggers you that much there must be something wrong with you. Since when did the truth become "trivial" ? I have done the research have you ? "Exactly the same!!!" Is a retarded argument. Easily debunked. He is taller, have a different skullshape and different voice and personality. He got to stay 9 (!) Days in Japanesse Prison because his fingerprints didnt match with JPM. A professor has concluded that the later "Paul" doesnt have the same voiceprints as the earlier Paul. He doesnt share dna with Pauls unknown children. So there goes the "Exactly the same!!!" Argument. And the "hoax!!" Theory doesnt work either. If it was a hoax Beatles could easily have confirmed this all thoose years. But yet silence. But the clues are very obvious. They are put there because the band mourned Paul. The official lyrics to All you need is love is bs. John says "yes hes Dead" and William sings "We loved you yeah yeah". That "Sir Paul" gives the stupid "we ran out of red Roses" is a clue in itself. "Sir Paul" has Said on Camera that he joined Beatles as an already set up affair. Paul didnt join the band that way. George Harrison has called "Sir Paul" William, also on Camera. Have you ever researched it or does your life depends on that he is JPM ? The Who sang about the replacement already in the 70's in a famous song. Behind closed Doors Beatles laughed at their blind fans for believing that Paul was still alive. They made the clues more obvious from album to album because their fans was so blind. One of the best lyrics clue about Pauls death came from John Lennon: "The only thing you've done was Yesterday (Paul) and since you've gone (Dead) you are just Another Day (William)". The reason you got offended by my simple Little (true) statement is because you prefer Living your life with eyes closed. Realising that you have been fooled all thoose years is too painful for you. You believe by attacking my person that Paul is alive... It doesnt work that way. Paul died late 1966 and William replaced him. It is going to be a well known fact in the future. George Martins oldest son has provided a foreword for the new edition of the "fantasy book" Billys back! (Williams unofficial memoirs). Do you really think he would have done that without "Sir Pauls" blessing ? Then you are naive. If you get triggered by me... How are you going to deal with Beatles betrayal when the truth comes out ? Like Heather Mills hinted at, people will be DEVESTATED. "The first one Said to the second one there i hope you are having fun!" RIP James Paul McCartney!
@@olskzeri2723 even if this guy was not "the real Paul", he would still be the best. This guy recorded Abbey Road, Peppers. Up to Revolver Lennon was the main creative force in The Beatles. Paul was great, but only after '66 he was truly at his peak. So even if you are right, which you are not, who cares??
This song came out when I was in middle school. People hated on me for liking the Beatles and it hurt, but my teachers respected me for it. A lot. So when this album was set for release, I was overjoyed and was counting the days down. This song made me the happiest and I used this as a sort of "defense mechanism" against any bullies who wanted to pester me about my love. The lyric "who cares about you, I do" essentially made me feel loved and that everything was ok. Thank you, Paul. You're the best and always will be! ❤❤❤
I was 11, when the Beatles appeared on Ed Sullivan. It's been an amazing trip. I got to see Paul and Linda at there Premiere. They both spoke and was just incredibly memorable. We rode up from Newport Beach. 1984, We were Parked across the street from the premier. We stood on my V65 . It was great. I've been able to see most everyone. Very lucky
I dont know for sure but I guess that the business has changed entirely. I love Paul's music as well but I think that with the Beatles and ever since he had more freedom creating whatever he wanted to...
Happy to receive notification about this video; happier to see that Paul is in the video, still moving like a man half his age; happiest to see that Paul is still making music, still relevant, still sharing his down-to-earth personality with us. Thank you Paul, for being the soundtrack of my life for over 50 years, and showing no signs slowing down.

Sir Paul--still creating incredible music. Does the soul good. A man that can turn a knock on the door into a hit song. ("Someone knockin' on the door, someone ringin' the bell. Do me a favor, open the door, and let 'um in.") Not many can do that. God struck this Man with lightning at birth, to help light up the world with fantastic music. In an unstable world of constant redifining, change, and flux, Sir Paul is a constant...like the soothing sound of a cicada in a tall Cottonwood tree on a tranquil summers eve.

Beautiful song! Wonderful message!!! Thank you Paul! Stand up against bullying!
I don't think you know what this song is saying.
Ahaha funny that when even Paul says it's about bullying
@@drewtaylor6623 Sure, because Paul MaCartney has never lied about his songs.
@@flacidhouse350 my man you just decided to attempt to shit on this guy's day because you think you know more than him.
What?! How can this old dude STILL be making such incredible music? Stunning.
Age does not matter. If the person Is healthtly and good, the experience makes his art and actions better
Because he's a Beatle!

Paul Mcartney is in my head
I wasn't even in Kindergarten yet, when the Beatles came to America. I wasn't even a thought when John, Paul, and George first got together. Now I am getting old with several major health issues. Paul McCartney continues to rock and entertain. MIND BLOWING!!!
i hope you start feeling better! peace and love!
They have said it before: "it's all in the mind"
Who Cares ? We do ! Hope you have a lovely day ☺
@NoiseFeedMusic
Guessing she is making a comparison to Paul, at his age, still rocking.
You have to consider he has enough money, and his doctors are probably big fans.
Paul could have done a song about anything, and he chose to bring attention to something that's a real problem for a lot of people, especially young people trying to find out who they are. Good on him. This guy's body of work just gets bigger and bigger, and is still great and meaningful.
Louis Ippolito It’s amazing. He can sing about things he may not have recent experience of, and it can be so heartwarming and down to earth
wow... someone decided to take the blue pill...
Me. :P
🙄🙃😤
how does Paul just get cooler everyday still in his mid 70's. Pretty sweet he got Emma but way sweeter she got to hang with him. Living legend

Be good to each other 👍👍
Sir Paul McCartney, always very young.
Except for his voice.

Actually, the way he talks was the same since like the interviews from 1964 or something. Its quite amazing😂
This actually raised my self esteem not gonna lie

This must have been such a dream come true for Emma, because I know she’s a huge Beatles fan. (She got a tattoo on her wrist because of their song Blackbird)
Aly Dematti right!! Exactly what I thought.
I'd be honored if some McCartney fans would check out my acoustic piano & vocal interpretation of Sir Paul's early masterpiece BLACKBIRD on my YT channel. Live acoustic with no autotune. Thanks and happy holidays.

Get real. He's a singer/songwriter/entertainer. The humanities include ancient and modern languages, literature, philosophy, history, human geography, law, politics, religion, and art. You're trying to tell me that Paul McCartney single handedly has transcended all of these with his music? He's great, but nope.
He is a genius
And he is alive
A living genius

@@olskzeri2723 Don't leave a comment. Your trivial message makes me angry
LOVE IT!
Love the song, love the aesthetics of the video, love seeing Paul and Emma together! Well done everyone!
Gotta love it when you get a McCartney notification
This song came out when I was in middle school. People hated on me for liking the Beatles and it hurt, but my teachers respected me for it. A lot. So when this album was set for release, I was overjoyed and was counting the days down. This song made me the happiest and I used this as a sort of "defense mechanism" against any bullies who wanted to pester me about my love.
The lyric "who cares about you, I do" essentially made me feel loved and that everything was ok. Thank you, Paul. You're the best and always will be! ❤❤❤

A-one, a-two
Did you ever get hurt by the words people say
And the things that they do when they're picking on you?
Did you ever get sad by the end of the day
When they're making you feel like a rusty old wheel
That's been left in the rain
Who cares what the idiots say
Who cares what the idiots do
Who cares about the pain in your heart?
Who cares about you?
I do
'Cause you're worth much more
A fact you can be sure
No need to hide
The love you've got inside
Did you ever get lost in the heart of a crowd
Have the people around, people are pushing you down
Is it driving you mad and you're screaming out loud
And you're wonderin' who's going to recognize you
You're a ghost in the dark
Who cares what the idiots say
Who cares what the idiots do
Who cares about the pain in your heart?

Sir Paul--still creating incredible music. Does the soul good. A man that can turn a knock on the door into a hit song. ("Someone knockin' on the door, someone ringin' the bell. Do me a favor, open the door, and let 'um in.")
Not many can do that. God struck this Man with lightning at birth, to help light up the world with fantastic music.
In an unstable world of constant redifining, change, and flux, Sir Paul is a constant...like the soothing sound of a cicada in a tall Cottonwood tree on a tranquil summers eve.
When I first saw this VEVO I definitely felt covertly bullied by two people in my own family. This brought such a relief and strength in me which brought me to a place to realize it was not my issue but theirs!
