I just noticed that what she was talking about wasn't just dying while sleeping or a nightmare, it's specifically smothering someone while they sleep. Being unable to breathe (suffocation) and grabbing hold of anything near him tightly (struggling) before acknowledging you're about to die and being scared of it.

The fact that the kid feel asleep after that terrifying speech in under 1 second makes me wonder if he’s the bravest child alive, or one with the shortest memory.
Perhaps he’s used to constant torture of existence; nothing phases him, now. He simply acts scared because it helps him believe that things will eventually go back to normal.

You know funny thing is watching this, I remembered something from my childhood. When I was a little kid, I used to spend a lot of nights and weekends and my grandmothers. She was religious, very sweet old lady, she wasnt the abusive nun sterotype or anything like that, but she would pray before sleep. I remember she always said the enter sandman prayer (yeah I know, real professional way of terming it lol but you all know what I mean the "now I lay me down to sleep, and pray the lord my soul to keep" and so forth). I'd pray it with her, but I remember whenever she'd say "and if I die before I wake I pray the lord my soul to take" I'd always lowkey get so creeped out and like psyched out. I'd go to bed and just be looking around the room in the pitch dark like "oh no no no please dont do it tonight god! Ugh why do we even have to say such things, obviously please dont come take me! Oh jeez this is so messed up!" Lol like no lie it almost felt like the boogeyman was lurking or something lol. This video reminded me of that feeling I had as a kid, the worry of death right before sleep. Funny vid as always though keep it up man you stuffs quality 👍
