The sticker on my car converted to pounds is 158,000 ($187k) and I paid 72,000 ($86k) for a one owner car with perfect service history and brand new brakes and rotors which would be almost $10k for all new brakes. I’m in New Orleans and there only one other modern Vantage in the city so it gets so much attention, I love the car, it’s just so fun to drive. Congrats on yours!

Sadly she developed dementia 5 years ago and eventually did not remember who we were. It was really sad :( I was her carer for a couple of years but then she eventually had to go into a home for 24/7 care. She lived in the care home up until this year when she passed away. I lost the mum I know 5 years ago when her dementia got bad but she only recently passed away. I cherish the memories and time before she was unwell.
My respects to you and what your hard work has accomplished, I also grew up poor and struggling. I identify with your story brother. Now I have my own construction business and own multiple Mercedes and range rovers, hard work pays off…Always think Positive!!

I just sold mine (was a 69 plate) and had it since 2021 until last week. I LOVED it. Enjoy it! If you haven’t already, I beg you PPF it. I didn’t and the paint is so ridiculously soft, so the front bumper genuinely had 30 or so stone chips in it from the 3 years I had it
Changed to a Lotus Emira V6. Different. Can’t say better, but different and am enjoying it! I had a DB11 V12 before the Vantage so been a while since the fun car hasn’t been an Aston! It’s certainly got its “quirks”

Well, let's see how electronics hold up considering it's Mercedes. Buying it second hand is where it makes sense due to the crazy depreciation.

From what i was told, depreciation usually has a direct correlation with reliability and maintenance cost. Is the cost of ownership going to catch up to the new owner? Lovely car.
If it helps Raj I had mine done by Aston Installations - most Aston Martin dealerships can do it for you (through them) if you’re in the UK. Aston Martin in Reading / Pangbourne did mine, and it’s exactly as Adam showed on here

Love it, beautiful car and sounds amazing.. ive always wanted an aston but my 640d msport coupe with a little tune-up has only 80 hp less than this and makes your 600nm of torque look insignificant lol, it also didn't cost anything like 90k... i just couldn't justify an aston with this in mine.. Sorry to hear about your mum, a devastating disease for the suffers and in a way more for their loved ones.. my wifes mum died a couple of years ago from dementia, not nice , Im sure your mum would love your car and am also sure she would have kept her eye on your speedo 😂 Drive safe out there ...

Thank you. It’s a service Aston Martin dealers offer to Vantage owners so it’s all done and integrated really well. I had it done as part of the deal when I purchased the car. I think it costs £1200 to have done which is pricey but well worth it I think since it adds so much to the car.
It’s a very nice video. However, you really are downplaying the immense difference between this car and the facelift. The new Vantage V8 is in every way a better touring and driving car. You shouldn’t underplay how annoying it is to operate CarPlay with a scroll wheel. The front end is extremely vague on the pre facelift, vastly improved on the facelift. If you ever used a Porsche PDK then the shifts feel like they take a year, improved on the facelift. The truth is if you want an ultimate bargain on a “supercar” there are boatloads of used McLarens that will of course have more issues but will actually be immensely more impressive on the road and on a track. And if you want a bullet proof option you can buy a brand new Cayman GTS 4.0 that will drive vastly better and have a warranty extendable up to 10-15 years. It’s great you got your dream car but you should represent the situation a bit more accurately. Congratulations and sorry for your loss.

This is a 2023 model with only 505 HP. The 2024 Aston Martin Vantage is completely different - it comes with bigger turbos, and now produces 665hp and 800Nm. That’s 150hp more than the previous Vantage.
Any Aston Martin dealer can fit it professionally for you. I think some independent audio car shops can also do it cheaper but easier to go through Aston Martin if you don’t mind paying a bit extra for peace of mind. It’s well worth it especially now with IOS 18.1’s new ai voice commands.

I had a 2002 Toyota back in 2010 and my insurance was almost £2000 on it due to my age and post code and how many years I’d been driving. As I got older and built up lots of years of no claims and driving the price went down every year. It can be unfair sometimes how the insurance companies hike their prices based on all these factors :(

I traded in my Bentley Flying Spur on this same car, zero regrets. Bentley has pretty bad continuous depreciation all the way down, the Aston at least starts to level off after 3 years which is why I bought a 2020 and 2019s were basically same price
@@sebastianconstantin5176 That was my first reaction when I saw the car since I was coming from such a large car but once you get in and drive it doesn’t feel small, it’s very wide too, def worth a test drive if you ever considered one, biggest issue with car is not breaking traffic laws bc it’s so fast and fun.

It’s actually really lovely in person. I always thought this too till I first sat in one in person. The seats are so nice with all the stitching and everything you touch feels great wrapped in leather. Great steering wheel, nice digital dash that changes with drive modes and although there’s a lot of buttons in the center I love them, especially the glass buttons for park, drive etc. The start button also lights up red when you press down the brake before you start up which is a really nice touch.

Is CarPlay OEM or is it retrofitted?
It’s a retrofit but it’s all done by Aston Martin so can be fitted by an Aston Martin dealer.

As I got older and built up lots of years of no claims and driving the price went down every year. It can be unfair sometimes how the insurance companies hike their prices based on all these factors :(

at this point, you could of get a bentley gt 2018-2019. its just way more beautifull outside and inside
I traded in my Bentley Flying Spur on this same car, zero regrets. Bentley has pretty bad continuous depreciation all the way down, the Aston at least starts to level off after 3 years which is why I bought a 2020 and 2019s were basically same price

@@sebastianconstantin5176 That was my first reaction when I saw the car since I was coming from such a large car but once you get in and drive it doesn’t feel small, it’s very wide too, def worth a test drive if you ever considered one, biggest issue with car is not breaking traffic laws bc it’s so fast and fun.

the sound is amazing, sideline and back are beautifully designed, but the interior is a full let down
It’s actually really lovely in person. I always thought this too till I first sat in one in person. The seats are so nice with all the stitching and everything you touch feels great wrapped in leather. Great steering wheel, nice digital dash that changes with drive modes and although there’s a lot of buttons in the center I love them, especially the glass buttons for park, drive etc. The start button also lights up red when you press down the brake before you start up which is a really nice touch.
£90K seems super expensive to me .🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
