- 2020 was a rough year defensively for the Ole Miss Rebels. In fact, it's been a few seasons since the Rebels have put a decent defensive unit out on the field. Maybe that's about to change as Defense strolls in with the intention of winning back Ole Miss.

As an Ole Miss fan, I’ve never been able to even disagree with one of the Ole Miss skits... lol always spot on.

The irony being that Kiffin brought high scoring offense to Alabama and Saban.
That’s not actually true. In 2013, The year before Kiffin was hired Alabama averaged 38.8 points a game. In 2014 and 15 Alabama averaged 36 and 35 points a game respectively under Kiffins offense. What Kiffin brought was the spread and tempo to Alabama and upgraded the passing game. Saban then changed his recruiting from bigger, slower receivers who could block as well as catch like Julio Jones, Amari Cooper & Kevin Norwood to smaller, faster game breaking guys like Calvin Ridley, Henry Ruggs lll, and Jaylon Waddle.
