Geezer Butler=one of the greatest (and most underrated) metal lyricists. EVER.
Mikol Shane absolutely correct ... compare all metal and hard rock bands geezer should be on top as a bassist and lyricist
What an amazing BASSIST, just killer!!!!
Agreed .....and John entwisle
he's not underrated bruh
@@SanAndrea5 sadly he is hella underrated in the metal community
Loners all around the world have their own anthem.
+jimbob jim Metal in general has been an anthem for the outcast and the loners for decades now and these guys are the architects of it all
+jimbob jim Rock Metal is the loners of music, Rap are the cool kids, Pop are the popular kids and Alternative music are the annoying kids.
Fucking rock on the beast! Metal For bloody life! \m/
+Jack the Bulldog you left us warriors out dude, I was a young kid, goin on my first mission and scared, older cats took me under the wing and said kid let Sabbath get you in the right frame of mind, god bless my fallen brothers of all era s, and to all those we sent to hell I hope its hot enough for you, god forgive me
george blake WOW !! Thank you for your service !!
The power to forgive is great and far reaching. For if we cannot forgive then we cannot be forgiven ! !
Thanks again for your service you've done a great thing !!
Cricket ! I pray god does forgive me
This is by the best comeback album of any band period. Tears me up just thinking about it.
I read the book Iron Man, the biography of the band written by Tony Iommi a few years before their return… I remember being moved by a passage towards the end of the book when Tony comments on, who knows, one day they would reunite and record a new album. A few years later they released 13, simply fantastic
Great book!
Great album but Perfect Strangers by Deep Purple was the greatest comeback album.
@@emrekok its your opinion, fucking come back but I think sabbath is better too.
@@emrekokFor argument sale. Both albums were great comebacks, not just Deep Purple 😎👊
Sabbath is truly the beginning and the end of metal. 🙌
I agree
Agree
Estoy de acuerdo....
TOOL?
What a fucking legend.
PuteBordDelux who Ozzy? LOL
Yup.
Prince of Darkness for a reason 🤟
The riffs never stop from this band. Amazing!
This is it
The riffs are all Tony Iommi, the master.
I Agree with You So Much.
@@davidcovarubias4729 He Really is ayy, that is One of His Best Strengths on the Guitar. Or Probably His Best Overall. I Sure Think so. And Yes an Absolute Riff Master.
@Jaidyn Headford especially off the new album
Without a doubt, Black Sabbath lives forever.
He's just a loner
He never says hello
A friend to no one
He's got no place to go
He don't look happy
He looks through furtive eyes
He ain't got nothing
No one to sympathize
All right now
He hides himself away
His secrets not revealed
As life just passes by
He keeps himself concealed
A solitary man
An enigmatic child
A riddle never solved
A prisoner exiled
I wonder if the loner can assimilate
A life less lived alone plays devil's advocate
Has he ever tried to be happy? Reached out from inside
Someone on who he can depend
It's getting too late to recover. He won't stand a chance
And into his own hell he'll descend
Don't descend
Don't descend
Don't descend
Don't descend
No understanding
Of things we already know
He has to live his life
And just learn how to let go, alright yeah
Communication's an impossibility
His own best friend but he's his own worst enemy
The secrets of his past locked deep inside his head
I wonder if he will be happy when he's dead
Come on yeah
Hell yeah
You forgot “thank you” at the end 👹👹👹
I'm amazed of how "13" songs are sounding as great as classic Sabbath tunes... It's like if Ozzy never left the band...
Yvan SEMENIC Aye.yip
I miss Bill... He would've just recreated the genre with these three
Has ozzy left the band ?
Hamada Gaming right
Hamada Gaming he got kicked out. He kept getting into trouble by drinking. Ronnie James Dio took his place for two black sabbath records. Heaven and Hell, and The Mob Rules
My daughter got me into Black Sabbath as I was never really into them as a teen in the 80’s. I can relate to this song. I do like Sabbath, they have some great songs and Ozzy has an amazing voice.
Your daughter is amazing 🥀💜💜🥀

Badass, better late than not at all.
She has great taste for music and probably art. If she recommends to buy an artwork you should take it seriously ;)
Could take awhile before it becomes worth anything, see Vincent van Gogh ;)
Light years later....still as good as any band period
Black Sabbath lives forever

Black sabbath shall live forever
Toni iommi, just a legend
2:46 "Dont eat sand".
Can't be unheard.
You bastard... you've ruined the greatest song of the 21st century.
😂😂
Tommy (The Drummer), you're amazing here.
These punks started it all. The music wasn't the same after their birth... \m/
Geezer's tone is just brilliant.
PLUS HE IS a LYRIC MASTER!!! of REALITY!
Geezer and Tony! No better combination
13 is such a heavy fucking album, it is so underrated
I agree !

showing that Black Sabbath still have the magic. They didn't do this in a formulaic way but still maintained the 'signature that makes Black Sabbath, and remains one of the greatest bands of all time. This is Black Sabbath with those same thoughtful lyrics, groove and energy. Long live the Sabbath! \m/
These guys have always stayed true to their roots. The best ever.
Tony Iommi playing left-handed with the finger deal.. IS THE MOST BADASS THING TO ACCOMPANY The Oz Man
I review this album on my channel if anyone is interested
I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO YOU SINCE I WAS 16 YEARS OLD NOW I AM 68 YEARS OLD. THANKS TO YOUR MUSIC. I GREW AND IT ACCOMPAIES ME ALL MY LIFE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH OLD MAN CZECH REPUBLIC👍👍👍👍✌✌✌
So old school sabbath. Loove this
Yeah but it tells everything bout me ,like some of the others, how many ,I don't forking know, come on
This completely defines my life,i am amazed how a social person can write such an intricate song about a loner.
Somes up a sabbath fan
Ozzy is a god among men. His voice and the lyrics from black sabbath and his solo stuff helped me off many ledges.
Music speaks to me.
Long live ozzy

This is great. I love '13'. I was fortunate enough to see Sabbath with Bill Ward at Ozzfest in 1997. It was friggin' fantastic!
This holds up with all the classic material in my opinion
Blake Whittington Sabbath Is culture
Same man
Look at the pure pleasure Sabbath give to us chosen people....🤘🏻..........BLACK SABBATH!.....
I still remember my very first concert as a little teen girl at age 14. It was 1974 and Aerosmith opened up for them at MSG in NY. Saw them again throughout the years, then with Dio and then again 2005. I still listen to them at age 63 because their music is so good.
❤64
Interesting you saw them open for Aerosmith. Did you notice Stephen Tyler and Joe Perry in the audience of this video?
No, it was Aerosmith opening up for Black Sabbath not the other way around. Tyler had his trademark scarves tied around his mike stand and would swing it. Yes, I did see Tyler and Perry in this video. @@scottankers6690
Ozzy, Tony, Geezer & Bill; the creators of Heavy Metal.🤟
Black Sabbath's first record was voted best heavy metal record of all time, i agree! The king of metal.
I prefer Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, but their first album was great too!
Ken Stur m
This is dated
I don't know if I consider it "metal", but indeed. What a fantastic album!
Chuck H considering there was nothing similar before they released it, it’s as metal as it could get.
For 70 years old this December 3rd, Ozzy is awesome!!!!!! Love this song and Ozzy!
Love this tune. It could have been on anyone of there early albums and it would be a hit.
i like drummers who hit it chill enough - like this, not in too much hurry
I love this song!!
The real deal. Nobody does pure unadulterated hard rock like the Sabs.
Thanks Ozz. You just save My life. Again.
Holy FUCK! That last guitar solo was epic! I really wish I could still see this band live.
I love this tune! I love the newer songs and the old vintage songs! Black Sabbath rules! The "13" album and the new unreleased studio songs on "The End" cd totally kick ass!! I loved their January 2016 Chicago show here! I can't wait tll they come back in September! I am totally going! I collect all of the bootlegs, tour programs, and more from every show from all of the tours!!
Something I've been talking to my parents about is seeing some of my favorite bands in concert, and they often say 'not right now'. So I show them live performance videos to show them that they're still good at what they do, (mostly Ozzy Osbourne, because he's basically the closest thing to a Black Sabbath show you can get since they disbanded in 2017 (Iron Man will forever echo in our hearts) and also because AC/DC isn't touring) and the first thing my mother brings up is how old they are, and my philosophy on this is who gives a shit how old they are? Ozzy could be so old that he looks like Emperor Palpatine and still sound like he does, and I'd still wanna see him live because it's better to see him when he's alive than seeing him when he's dead.
Tony, Geezer and the man of Darkness what a great bunch of musicians. Immortal doesn't sound impossible for this bunch Long Live Black Sabbath🤘🤘🤘😰😚
This became one of my favourite songs of all time along with God Is Dead.
These Legends have done it again. Oh, My, that is impressive. The innovator and Rock of the band, Mr Iommi, keeps laying it out. This is epic stuff!!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, BS!!!
Last but not least, Sabbath never sounds better than doing it "live" where the band is truly magic...
I love the blonde sticking out her tongue and laughing, so cute
Ozzy, Gezzer, and Tommy are God sent, are gift from the Heavens,Thank You all for your efforts.
Love seeing people into Black Sabbath like i am . 14 to 59 moves me like no other.
That second solo was Epic 👌
I love Ozzy's voice! Tony is a riff magician. Awesome tune!
Black Sabbath ~1968 -2013
LEGENDS!!
No hay duda los verdaderos dioses del metal por siempre sabbath
OMG Geezer still rocks!!!
Geezer needs more praise for being the wonderful bassist he is
Maybe the best bassist ever.
And has written 99% percent of songs lyrics
Seeing this video makes me miss Sabbath concerts so much lol. There was truly something special about them, I got to see them 8 times between 2013 and 2016. I miss them so much lol.
best metal band...
It sounds so good. Not dead at all. I am so glad.
Best stoner metal song ever. It has a simple but amazing groove or swagger to it. GREAT STUFF !!!
I have so much respect for this band. At their level of success, where they are in the history books of music....they still give a shit about their fans. And they made sure to bring a kickass product to their fans nearly every time. I wish Zep had continued. Black Sabbath rules!!
They return to form here (like no other heavy 70's group I've ever seen) and take it a quantum step beyond by incorporating new tricks and techniques that both groups (Ozzy-solo, and Sabbath- particularly during the Heaven and Hell era) have honed individually for over two decades. Outstanding performances from each member doing what they do best. I assume that drummer is about as good as it gets. Holy shit.
(And yes-I miss Bill Ward, but this dude is a monster.)
A Qaeda á arañas aquí á
I’ve seen Tommy Clufetos with Sabbath. I agree, the dude is a monster
The Masters. I've loved their thick heavy blues rock since I was a little girl.
When these guys get together, it's magical !!!!!!!!!!!
Always get chills listening to sabbath.
Spectacular performance
Sabbath BLOODY Sabbath!
Best hard rock or metal band period.
man i cant believe how much bill ward has changed his look and got into shape - go Bill!
I'm very sad, Black sabbath end :(.
me too, but their music will live forever
its not the end. they said that they wont be touring any more. iommy said that maybe they'll make 1-2 more records propably. maybe they will, mayne they wont.

Its true! Is it not the end.... so have hope in black sabbath
Sorry my english. I'm Brazilian
this is a song for few I am convinced that this song saws the history of Sabbath they still got that shit
reminds me of the technical Ecstasy era Sab... I love that stuff and this follows it perfectly
There are many great ones to listen to with a msg to boot,Black Sabbath is unequaled in Heavy Metal
I just got sick, now I'm a loner... Sabbath keeps me company.
And this song Rocks like all their tunes!
What a great band!
I love that Steven Tyler was in the audience 😹🤘
This band will always rock on grey up with all this music so glad I did
Tommy is a true riff-monster. So underrated.
Who is Tommy?
i agree with you but i think he is too slow
but maybe he just play slow because it's heavy idk
@@nitramtrep1930 He plays slowly because of his lost finger tips. I prefer the slowl riffs tbh
