I'm remastering the live version they did in Chicago. I have isolated the drums only as part of my efforts to revive the October 93 live performance. He drums slow and soft on the studio version. The one time Nirvana played this live, Dave was on fire that night in Chicago.
I dont play drums (gonna get a set and learn when i can afford it) but i do play guitar and piano and something about the cymbals in that rhythm just hits. Its probably extremely simple and generic to a drummer but idk man something about it makes you want to create your own jam to it like the part at 1:05
