@@ScottishTeeVee hi yes thanks for this, great band and era, really liked this album and songs, I did like rain as a track as well, of course she's sells sanctuary kind regards.
NICE. I actually remember seeing this broadcast at the time and was pretty impressed! I'd bought sonic temple and it was on constant play. Bitching music as jonathan would say.
Wow! Love this! ❤ keep them coming! Loving the Cult since 1992 when I saw them on MTV! Yet to see them live but your channel is enough to whet my appetite 💕 thank you
Perhaps... probably pretty difficult to resist a couple of sherberts, while doing this for a living... Ian voice, is an interesting one, though... personally I like his voice, here. I have to give him credit for singing it like it's on the record... something he never liked to do 'live'... or in more recent times. I think here, they were trying to promote Sonic Temple, so he sang it 'straight'... and in the 80's, they weren't so fussed about any of that. In 'recent' times, I can hardly believe what I'm hearing when I hear him sing... but I think maybe the reason he sings so differently from the record 'live', is because he might've been told some years ago to look after his voice...🤔
Yes it does! But it is worth it. Some times I feel like giving up, then I read the comments from many regular viewers, including yours and that keeps me going.
@@ScottishTeeVee i started look around at how much you have. wow. i know a lot of people really get enjoyment from it and appreciate it even if they don't take the time to say so. I'm running on music right now. sometimes Something as simple as a video can really make a person's day.
@@sandrafisherhayes3219 No, as in "fullaeit". lol Cursing and swearing, terrible. My Mum was watching. She had a fit when I told her the support band's name for the 87 gig at The Barras. :)
And the same year I saw Nirvana at The Arts Centre in Norwich for £3.50. I love early Cult but this was overblown rubbish. Nirvana blew them off the stage.
It's a T shirt for "Frisco Choppers" "Best in the West, San Francisco" You can still buy these shirts 28 years later. We relate the image to Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party who started using it 90 years ago. But it is still considered to be a sacred symbol in Hinduism & Buddhism and dates back at least 11,000 years.
ScottishTeeVee is right ,It's now California Choppers and their T shirt symbol is a sticky one, as is it's use by biker culture, but also very interesting..

Great
I looked at my Cult playlist. what a mess. i need to prune it. It must take a lot of work to keep all your stuff so well organized,

Best thing is Ian’s Zodiac Mindwarp t-shirt. Other than that overblown bollocks.
I never noticed the Zodiac Mindwarp t -shirt and I have seen this video many times.
Saw the t-shirt immediately. Have seen both bands many times, Zodiac at the Hacienda...

Ehi Scottish, please, what Jonathan Ross says at the end of Born to be wild?
He said "Oh my goodness.. and that of course, was a special request for Mrs Ethel Winterbottom, who will be 97 on Tuesday"
@@ScottishTeeVee Thank you very much Scott! It's funny in some way.
Ian sounds tired!
Pished.

ScottishTeeVee that's aweful! do you know why he would wear this? and couldn't anyone say its a horrible idea? he usually comes across as a nice guy.
