Can anyone please explain why The Cult is NOT in the ROCK HALL OF FAME?
no lo necesita, ni tampoco nosotros...el rock de THE CULT es un ritual
@@litostones Sorry I can only read English so I can't read/understand your comment.
@@Blackscorpion1963 you don't need it, neither do we ... THE CULT rock is a ritual
Nope - should surely be!!!
@@litostones Indeed. A ritual.
Great band..... Ian 😍
The Classic era of The Cult is exactly that...CLASSIC!
THE BEST
13 Days till see The Cult live.... Love them since was kid
I love LOVE THE CULT!!
Since the Stark Club in Dallas circa 1980's😁thank you for 4 hrs of Ian Astbury!
Oh how I miss the Stark!!! Those were the days my friends!
Captivating compilation! Ian is top of my list as best front men ever. The Cult forever.♥️
54 yrs old stuck at home. There's a pandemic and some icy weather today. Couldn't ask for anything better than watching a few hours of The Cult! It's like I can't get enough! Was also You Tubing Southern Death Cult! Thanks for putting this together.
Addictive aren't they!?
Approaching 60 this year (albeit a young 60 😁) isolated and lonely. Watching The Cult 'live' is my remedy now. Loving Ian 30 years now and counting ❤ ♥ their music has helped me through bereavement so thank you so much for posting this brilliant video! It has made my grief a little easier to live with.
Wow. This is just babes in the woods . Sweet, sweet Ian with his bubble gum 💕☎️🦞🥰 . Thank you for posting . Time is a filthy thief for all of us .
CULT4EVER💙🧡💙🧡🔥🔥
This is a real gem!!!😍🎵🎶🎤🎸🥁
Yes the real gem!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
my favourite band of rock of rock and roll of all times.
Thank you so much! 👍 FIREWOMAN ❤ Forever Masterpiece! 🙌🙌🙌
2:40:20 to 2:42:30 The breakout from Love to Electric! Two of the best rock albums ever recorded. Freshman to sophomore! And then it broke BIG!!!!!
Some great stuff here...only missing their very best performance in Dreamtime Live at the Lyceum!
What an amazing compilation of live performances! Thank you so much for putting this all together in one!
Most welcome! Glad you enjoy it. It was peak era for Cult. I saw them on the Electric and Sonic Temple tours thankfully! Also saw them about 5 or more years ago at a club in Montreal. But the Electric gig is still burned in my head 35 years on!
Yes. We agree too! Thanks for that. Hearing it now. facebook.com/ellesee.georgiadis/
@@HendrixJHE I saw them mid-90s at a Big Day Out concert and it was great until some chick beside me fell, then I fell over her, as the crowd was swaying everywhere, then a dozen people fell on me and my leg was fucked up for a while. They saw what was going on, we were reasonably close to the front, but didn't seem to comprehend that it was serious. It was really scary and I've never appreciated them as much as I used to after that one.
Pain-stakingly underrated
Well said. No band I can think of deserving more credit they did not get.
Bless you for putting this together
Soooo darn cool.
I wish Ian was my beautiful friend ...yknow what I mean? Wink
It can't just be me but do these guys GIVE you a Major Adrenalin Rush or what !!! 🤩
❤❤❤ What a great collection! These guys brought good vibes into the world. I discovered them decades after they landed on earth. 😅😊😂❤
What great chemistry before their drummer died. They were the Doors on steroids.
💜 'RAIN!' 💜
The best Cult there ever was...
Nigel Preston RIP,🙏
AMAZING. ❤🖤🤘🤘👏👏
IAN ASTBURY, SIMPLY THE BEST.👏❤🖤🤘
HendrixJHE Classic Rock Video Archive Subscribed just for the effort you put into this ! Only 30 minutes into what will be how I am spending my next four hours!! Loved that you chose their best 4 years too, man! Really nice stuff! A+++
Hey Mark, I really appreciate that comment man. That is peak Cult and fairly great quality video and sound for its era so I am glad you found it and you have a lot of enjoyment to come then if you are only 30 minutes in! HAHAHA I was fortunate enough to see the Cult twice on Electric and ST tours. Something tells me you might have been lucky enough to see them in mid to late 80s too! I also have 3 live shows, 1 from '87 and 2 from '89 on the channel.
HendrixJHE Classic Rock Video Archive ya man! I am enjoying the hell out of this!
HendrixJHE Classic Rock Video Archive updates throughout the evening 👏👏💪❤️
29:05- 30:58 - Just PURE power and charisma! WOW. Here Comes the Reign!

Enjoyed the hell out of that 4 hours.
1:48:39 to 1:150:22 Pure Cult and ON FIRE!!
What’s the song
The first three hours of this are great (as is your user name). However, unfortunately the clips have been uploaded in the incorrect aspect ratio. They should be in 4:3.
🖤
Hollow Man is awesome
Gran banda
The Cult, Big Band!!!!
They have always reminded me of a mix of U2 meets (the guitar )Aerosmith ( Steven Tyler) with the Cure(the Spacey music). Best band in the world.
Grande Band Album Love Capolavoro
Yeah!
me love it mon !
3:10:01 to 3:15:29 OFF THE CHARTS! A little flat on the opening vocal notes though.
40:14-40:59 I promise mom! I will NOT do any drugs!
What song is this
@@leviroark1659 Phoenix
If your mom is the momager being payed off to drug you where does that leave you? I got some experience with that one. It sucks big time. Imposter momager liar handlers in the business. facebook.com/ellesee.georgiadis
Who is on the drums?
Nigel preston ..en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigel_Preston they fired him he was the sound of the cult they never released live at the lyceum on dvd. One thing should never have done was fire him. RIP Nigel Preston he played on she sells sanctuary they fired him and put Mark Brzezicki from the band big country in the she sells sancyuary video.
@@mrblister8359 when did the Matt sorum join the band?
@@danielslc88 ...matt sorum i think he left to join guns and roses 1989 but les warner played all the cult tours from love to electric. i lost intrest after that Ray Mondo - drums (1983)
Nigel Preston - drums (1983-1985; died 1992)
Mark Brzezicki - drums (1985)
Les Warner - drums (1985-1988)
Eric Singer - drums (1988)
Mickey Curry - drums (1989, 1991)
Matt Sorum - drums, backing vocals (1989-1990, 1999-2002)
James Kottak - drums (1990-1991)
Michael Lee - drums (1991-1992; died 2008)
Scott Garrett - drums (1992-1995, 2002)
Mrblister he had to be fired, he was a heroin addict and although great drummer was becoming unreliable due to his addiction
@@mrblister8359 There is an interview I seen on RUclips where Nigel explains why he wasn't in that video, because he got into a car accident on the way to the studio where they were filming and a last minute replacement was Mark Brzezicki. At least that is what his explanation was.

Sound slike u2 ripped them off
