- Tucked away in the rainforest of Vancouver Island in British Columbia is master craftsman, Francois Mongeau. Find out what feeds his soul ... his creative energy here on the west coast of Canada. Filmed by videographer, Beth Ross, narrated by Linda Tenney, Publisher, EyesOnBC Magazine.
A very lovely person, who is just a natural. No good looking for it ; either you're born with it,or you're not. He's very close to Nature indeed. Too bad B.C. is so expensive to live in, but that's another story. Thank you for posting this touching story.
What a carver, wow! I carve some wood spirits and would love to be able to carve like Francois some day. Beautiful carvings, well done.
I love the way he speaks

We definitely agree, Francois Mongeau is indeed an amazing talent, and he lives in one of the most spectacular regions of British Columbia. Thank you for viewing! :-)

@thewooforfun Thanks for watching today! Our video series "What's It Like?" is intended to create a living legacy...a piece of history...a profile of the person behind the art, business or activity, not actually how to do what they do. We hope you'll come back to see our other projects as they continue throughout 2012. Thanks again for viewing :-) ... ~ Linda
