As a wood carver I am humbled by this mans skills. If I could live to be 150 years old I don't think I'd reach his level.

A love and devotion to a particular job or hobby has nothing to do with patience. Hours just pass unnoticed that's why patience just doesn't exist. I agree totally, sometimes when I go to bed I can't sleep because I start planning my next move for the next day. Then I lose patience because the night won't hurry up, that is when I lose patience.
He is as good as they get! His style is my favorite style. I do some of that type carving, but my level of ability will never even approach his.. Wonderful! Thanks for the video!

Incredible talent he has, I have the pleasure meeting him and his lovely wife few years back,
He also came and stayed overnight in my home as it was to late to go back after our woodcarvers club meeting,
You shot a great video and its so wonderful to see him again,

dimitrios hi!!! i m a carver too. and i never had a teacher it was hard. but i ve been teaching my self thanks to videos like yours i see many stiles.and the experience i got working at different stiles when i lived in california.now i love in dallas tx and this is a dying art i dont do it anymore except when i go home and work in my own patterns i wonder how you still carve i m cleaning toilets cause i dont know anything else i spended 20 years now its gone. ok thanks!!
