Finally made a PART 2 to this video: ruclips.net/video/XcxbcjQxXmw/видео.html “It’s no secret that everyone in the world loves Americans.” Yes people, it was a joke. 👌🏾
@@mohammedfahad3564 You don't have to like us; most Americans have enough self esteem to not need everybody to like us. Millions of people seem to want to either visit the USA or come here to BECOME Americans (7.2 million people sworn in as U.S. citizens during the last decade). BTW, some were named Muhammed.
Reading all these comments from Americans loving our country is so heartwarming. I am from Glasgow in Scotland and I am so proud to be Scottish. But saying that America is the best holiday I have ever had. Visited New York (where the lovely waitress asked if I wanted a bag take my breakfast away in and she called me ,schweetie,) to the Deep South where I was lucky enough to visit New Orleans, Nashville, tupelo, Memphis and Alabama and go down the Mississippi River. So many fond memories and everyone is the friendliest I have ever met. To hear these Scots in the video be slightly stereotypical and say guns and burgers a lot - well I can only say they had to think of an answer quick while being put on the spot. We love you Americans. Visit us anytime.
To be fair we do love guns and burgers and I’m not gonna deny it. I actually like that we have those as stereotypes. Also yeah I’d like to visit Scotland one day it seems like a breath of fresh air. Also id like to visit more of my own country cause I’ve lived in Arizona my whole life and only really been to California
chris minks Well the Russians were more interested in defending than taking the offensive. The germans kept getting frozen and starved out by over extending their invasion. When Germany realized they couldn't take the east they relocated all efforts toward the western expansion. Plus it's not only the warfare that America brought but the welfare and rebuild effort once everything was settled and destroyed.
So TRUE - - Wifey & I practically died laughing about it, as if all we 'muricans eat are burgers. Speak American English 101: Always use the term hamburgers or burgers when using an American accent. L.o.L.! Thanks for posting your comment!
LEO1WOLF I‘ve been to America a few times and I know that you don‘t just eat burgers 😁. It’s just the silly cliché image we Europeans generally have, especially people who‘ve never been there.
When my exes parents visited from Amsterdam the first time, they thought when we took them out to dinner that it would be McDonald's, because "everybody knows that almost all restaurants in America are McDonald's." True story.
Not that America is amazing but agreed. I think New York is worth a visit due to it being a Mecca of everything. But Florida and Los Angeles are the two absolute worse places to fo
@BigCat6906 I am a European bloke that moved to America and I suggest blokes like Massachusetts and Colorado are ten million times better to visit than California and New York.
RevaN Florida is amazing tho they have beaches Disney world Miami you just gotta know where to visit the entire state is a big vacation don’t hate on Florida man it’s lit here
BigCat6906 Eh I mean New York is cool, Florida has a lot of beaches and Disney world and a lot of touristy areas. People are visiting Florida and New York for touristy spots they aren’t going to go to Texas or some shit cuz it’s boring
Americans don’t like guns and burgers THAT much * looks at my two rifles and one shotgun and boxes of ammo in my room as I’m eating a Whataburger cheeseburger*

As an American who travels a LOT, I've always found the Scottish people to be very welcoming and kind. Every time I've visited, I'm blown away by their openness, generosity, and friendliness. That's coming from everyone I've met on the streets, tours, pubs, hotels, etc.
@@thevolsteadvolstead5942 Nonsense. There is an old stereotype that the Scots are thrifty, but I don't think you will find any Scot that will say their people were not friendly. When I travel, I make it a concerted effort to travel outside of the tourist areas. If you would like the long list of remote villages I've traveled to in Scotland, I'd be more than willing to provide. I stand by my original comment.
No, actually you have a second Amendment because people who owned slaves felt they needed a way to protect themselves if ever those slaves rose up and revolted against them.
Cbricklyne America had to fight a tyrannical government before slaves came into the picture. The second amendment itself talks about guns militias, guns, and their role in preventing a totalitarian gov. What you say is interesting though, but still untrue. Guns, one of the things that helped america fight for freedom against our oppressors, were hypocritically used to oppress slaves.
Traveled to Scotland for a couple weeks before the whole Corona pandemic and they are literally some of the nicest and friendliest people I’ve ever met! Scotland is a really chill place.
The original comment received 41 likes, so I’m going to honor those who have also honored the bravery of WWII protectors. Scotland Yard wouldn’t approve of your ill manners, nor would brave WWII Veterans.
I used to have a great job that took me to about 25 different countries. One of my customers was in Scotland. I found the people in Scotland to be the warmest, friendliest people I have ever met. I was there for a week and I felt like a long lost relative. The people I was working with never let me be alone, which I loved. They took me out every night, and to a rugby match and a wedding. I was amazed at how nice they were to me. I will never forget all the fun I had in Scotland. It was the only country I have ever been to where I was treated like royalty. Thank you Scotland!!
I am an American & I can confirm that ordering a hamburger forces the vocal chords of any foreigner to perform a flawless American accent. It’s the darndest thing! 🤣
“We owe American gratitude for what they did in the war” Americans owning and shooting guns prior to having to serve was a game changer. Americans will keep their guns as long as they are alive and will wait for any enemy, foreign or domestic, to come take them
Agreed, if we take away guns we will weaken ourselves and those dangerous people will still find ways to get guns or other ways to hurt people. Our background with guns was a strength we needed.
you realize that there are still guns in europe right? and guns were even more accessible during and before the world wars in europe- your argument makes no sense

I can totally understand others not agreeing with or understanding our gun laws or lack thereof. I personally grew up with guns in our home. Mostly for hunting purposes and was taught at a very early age how to operate and respect such a powerful tool. I am a Conceal Carry Permit holder as well as my husband and oldest daughter who is 28 yrs old. My 2 youngest daughters who are 22 and 20 have no desire to handle or carry guns and that is their choice and respected. In my home state of Indiana a CCP holder can carry their handgun out in the open (holster on hip) if I choose to. It is pretty common here to see people "carrying" their guns this way and it isnt something that scares or bothers us. We are used to it. Those that were not born in an area where guns are permitted or have been a for lack of better term "part of their life" are for sure not going to understand the concept. Our Forefathers wrote our gun laws to protect us from our own Government.
We Scot's are not all brainwashed, trust me, please see my reply to the comment by CobraKelly ; It's a few comments down from the top of the page 😊 ❤️🏴🇺🇸🏴🇺🇸🏴🇺🇸❤️
I grew up my whole life with guns in the house. Shotgun in the closet,.38 in my dad's sock drawer. He taught me real young that they weren't toys. Nobody ever got shot.
@@stevenwheat3621 I've been to many countries and have spoken to many friends overseas and this isn't true. The way the media is in USA makes it seem like everyone is against us, but they aren't. To be fair, most of the foods make for good verbal warmups because the names make for good phonetic examples of what sets certain American accents from other accents in the English language.
@@1Scottishmum As a Scottish mum also, I could not disagree with you more. Our beautiful once bonny country is no more. I have witnessed the deterioration and the rampant and consistent degradation of our once beautiful country, all over it. Children used to play outside, be safe, have no fear, doors were unlocked. This was only a few Decades ago. Then , the Dunblane Massacre happened and the British were hoodwinked into giving up their guns. The criminals kept their guns and the populace was disarmed and turned into weak, meak and snivelling weasels. The Mass Gang Rapes of children and young women would not be happening if we still had our guns. The Firing of Supermarket employees for posting a Billy Connolly RUclips video to Facebook would not be happening if we still had our guns. The Police Arrest of any Christian Pastor for peacefully and respectfully trying to evangelize in the UK, would not be happening if we still had our guns. If we still had our guns so many terrorists could have been foiled sooner. If we still had our guns Those in power would Fear Us and treat us with at least a small amount of respect. Now, gunless, we stand bowed, bent and broken. No man who hears of the mass gang rapes acts..... We were once conquerers of land and sea. The Scots, not the British, Invented The Modern World. We are now a Mockery of our former selves. A Mockery. Those in power no longer fear the people. Crime is so much worse. Ignore what the media tells you and look up real statistics regarding gun crime in America. What you must understand is there are worse consequences overall of giving up firearms. Take a look at what cities in America have the most shootings , it's the cities which have Banned guns!, Because the criminals Keep their guns and the populace becomes Defenceless. This Entire world is kept safe Only by the guns in the hands of the ordinary American citizens brave enough and clever enough to carry them. If America Falls, and the American citizens lose their guns The Entire World Will Fall Under The New World Order Immediately and there will be No going back x.
1Scottishmum it’s because it makes it hard for a tyrannical government to form it keeps the states free from the federal power it keeps things too balanced and even if they were to ban it it’s too late because the criminals would not give up their guns while the innocent law abiding citizens would be left with nothing to defend them self’s with but it’s mainly so the states keep their power and the federal government can’t gain control of the states

For anyone reading this who might agree with their negative takes on guns, understand two things: A)What you hear in American media (which is rather left wing) as well as your own (probably the same) is generally highly omitted and misleading. Most of the American communities with high concentrations of guns actually are quite peaceful. Conversely, the areas with stronger regulations and a lower ownership rate generally have the exact opposite situation - some of them with murder rates comparable to the third world (literally). The problem with comparing the murder rates in the developed world with America is that there is nothing in Europe or East Asia comparable to the violent sub cultures found in the aforementioned communities (east st. louis, south chicago, DC, Detroit, etc.). Though they are few and far between, they (by themselves) raise the average murder rate of the country up significantly, again generally in areas with very strict laws and very few guns (at least legally held). The reasons for their behavior are wide ranging but rest assured 95% of America is quite safe. B)America has in it's constitution the right to own firearms which is quite different from other European countries. The reasons for this right are deeply ingrained into the contextual philosophy of the country itself and would take a while to explain. Suffice to say, it's not something that can just be repealed easily. There would have to be overwhelming majority of elected officials voting in concert to do so.
The 2nd amendment isnt about owning firearms actually. It gives us the right to defend ourselves against a tyrannical govt. It also limits the govt from telling us how, which in turn allows us to purchase guns.
You see, it’s not the media that tells us this. No one has “brainwashed” us (I see a lot of people saying that we are brainwashed, and it just makes me laugh - we just think differently than you guys) A lot of us just don’t understand how owning a gun is a right. Being from Europe, I never knew anyone with a gun, and a never knew anyone who even cared enough or wanted to own a gun. We were all fine with not having guns, and felt that it was just unnecessary. A lot of us just don’t understand why it is ingrained into your society (or even has to be for that matter). Like I understand “protecting yourselves against a tyrannical government”, but seriously what is a gun going to do against the AMERICAN government for god’s sake. You have the most sophisticated and technologically advanced weaponry of any nation on earth, an uprising would be curbed in a couple of minutes at most.
Aiden Frost A lot of us are crazy I will admit that. We get way to involved in American drama and politics, and it’s not really our fight but dude it’s just hard to understand you guys.

Are we at war? By the way the fact we have a large army obviates any need for the 2nd amendment. We don't have any need whatsoever for the 2nd amendment and haven't for over 200 years. Need I remind you of the words of the 2nd amendment? "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State". What was a militia at the time it was written? What were they talking about? State militias. Basically a volunteer force of citizens to come together to protect the individual states. We currently have a Defense that costs over 700 billion a year. We have state national guards. We have the Department of Homeland Security. We have police departments around the country not to mention state police. Essentially all of these groups provide the security of a free state that is mentioned in the amendment. All of them. Thus there is no need for an individual right to bear arms. No need of an individual right to gun ownership. None. There hasn't been one for 200 years. The second amendment results in 11,000 gun homicides a year and 19,000 gun suicides a year. That's 30,000 dead Americans a year for no damn good reason. That's not security or freedom or safety or anything. It's just death. Pain. Endless amounts of pain for the people who love those that are lost. The second amendment needs to be repealed. Gun ownership needs to be a privilege and not a right. It won't eliminate the danger that 320 million guns already in private citizens hands create. That ship has sailed. But it will stop the endless excuses that people have for the pain caused by gun violence in the USA. It will at least be a statement of values by this country. A statement that we value human life and we want this misery to end.
@@wpl6661 If you want a statement that this country values human life and you want pain to end let's end abortion. That's the biggest cause of pain and needless death in this country. Once we get that outlawed then I might believe we are actually concerned about saving innocent life and there's no hidden power grab behind the gun control agenda. That's the main point. Also as far as a well regulated malitia we need to understand why they made that an amendment. If it was just to have an army then you have a point that we already have one so there's no need for individuals to have guns but the reason it in the bill of rights is because they wanted to make sure that the government wouldn't overreach there bounds and be the only game in town with guns. That's what you would have if the army and police (government) where the only ones with the right to carry. And if it's a right as it should be and is now then it shouldn't be a privilege anymore than the right to free speech should be a privilege. What do you think? Anything make sense?
wpl you obviously don’t understand what the second amendment is for it isn’t to let have guns to protect us from foreign invaders it’s to have guns to protect us from our own government 🤦♂️

After 4yrs of living there I can see how that has worked for their country. There lifestyle, family and schooling is done in away that train children to be respectful and good people. To respect not only people but property. Living in another country has been a very humbling experience. Another thing I loved about living in another country is the locals saw me and they immediately called me an American. In America your white, "African American" (even though you've never been to Africa), your Asian, Latino and whatever other label. In Japan... regardless of color... we were all loud belligerent Americans 😂🤣😂🤣
Most of the people I personally have known who proudly carry a firearm, being as I have never been in, say, Alabama, are also among the most respectable human beings in demeanor and presence. Gun ownership comes with it a huge amount of responsibility, and responsible gun owners take pride in showing meekness. They rarely flaunt it, and when they do it is only in a conversation initiated in respect for gun ownership. People carry guns because cops are always five minutes or more away from the initiation of a 9-1-1 call, and have you looked at a map? USA is huge.

Josh Ferguson He means through means of Alcohol Poisoning and perhaps drunk driving. But if you want to be literal, you can use the bottle as a close combat weapon and you can use the alcohol as a flammable substance (depends on the alcohol percentage). In reality, you CAN buy beer at Walmart. I think the one thing they’re leaving out is their kid’s age at the time he was there. You have to be 21 years of age to drink or smoke in the United States, but can buy a gun at any age (keep in mind that store owners, yes, even at Walmart, can and will deny sale to someone they deem unfit for gun ownership, whether they fail the routine background check or they are kids without training). In the UK, you can drink and smoke by the age of 18.
Josh Ferguson But that’s where we differ. I live in Jacksonville (we have about 900,000 people crowded into one small city, mind you), where crime of all sorts is nuts. Rape, assault, and robbery are all really high here and people need to be able to defend themselves. Getting a knife or other melee weapon does not help in a situation where an assailant or mugger has a small arm, which is more common for criminals to have because they can conceal it with little to no trouble. People need to be able to defend themselves when police aren’t able to help them, so being allowed to buy a gun seems better to me.
@@PHENOXSPARTAN I live in West Coast Scotland which is also quite crime ridden and we used to have lots of stabbings but we've managed to lower the stabbing rates and personally I believe just based on what I've seen where I live is that it's way easier to stop stabbings and prevent more people dying than neccesary in mass stabbings than in the same events except guns rather than knives

So many fond memories and everyone is the friendliest I have ever met.

For anyone reading this who might agree with their negative takes on guns, understand two things:
A)What you hear in American media (which is rather left wing) as well as your own (probably the same) is generally highly omitted and misleading.
@@ATX51232 an old English saying. ..ballacs

"I don't like their guns but thanks for saving our a*s in WWII.
aribbonatatime our soldiers didn’t use guns from home.

You wont find another country as a whole that practices safe use of firearms like America does. America can't take guns away because Americans don't raise children to be respectable good people. We need to be able to protect ourselves.
My husband is in the military and we've been stationed in Japan. They also do not carry guns there. Not even the police! It was a cultural shock at first.
Japan, is a homogeneous society. America is not. That's the problem.

Wan beer isnt gonnie kill someone mate
@@PHENOXSPARTAN fair enough but I would still rather people being able to buy beers than guns it might just be me
Josh Ferguson But that’s where we differ.
