Honestly, in base Rise I preferred Minoto for her subtle interest in the hunter. However, with Hinoa's changes in Sunbreak (and her comments when returning blowkisses) I am switching to team Hinoa. I want a girl who doesn't shy away from showing her affection.
Luchika's the unexpected one for me, I think she might be my favorite from Sunbreak cause she looks all calm and collected but then in a fight she's super into it and doesn't even try to heal herself XD But no I don't think she's that much of a psycho she just seems to have genuine thrill for it.
The thing that I like about Ayame is that she went through a personal crisis and found a resolution. A side character who didn't do anything but had any interesting narrative regardless. And yes aesthetic is everything if it's a digital waifu.

Luchika is nice because, quite frankly, she is shun by her fellow hunters for her outburst of joy on a hunt when in reality she is just having a good time. Also in Japanese her voice actress says a very solid "ara ara" Friendly reminder that thanks to Hinoa, the first voice line ever spoken in rise is "Ara ara". The Ara ara is why I religious pick those 2 for my followers hunt.

I think the funniest tjing about Fiorayne is that in the later missions around mr 60-100 she starts simping for the hunter to the same degree as a good portion of the community does for her, much to Bahari's dismay.
I honestly really like luchika because in the follower quests her dialogue is such a vibe. She's just reckless, energetic and incredibly violent and powerful which says more about me for being into it than it does about her

At first I was upset you didn't include Fugen but I think it's because you know it's the right choice. He can rest his big sword on me any day In another note Minoto has a cute animation where she tries to make a drawing and ends up hating it. Her NPC quest also is about her fighting the dragon of elegence to prove herself as not just a young lady of beuty but a powerful protect of the ones she loves. Hinoas is just like 'OMG LETS HANG OUT AND HUNT A RATHALOS' which I also can't hate.

I love Luchika because she reflects my own personality. At work or in any professional or polite setting, I'm well-mannered, quiet, and reserved. People tend to say I'm "mature". But hit me up during my off-hours? "LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO!!!!" Coworkers tend to be caught off guard. Plus, she's as enthusiastic about hunting monsters as I am. And I respect the hell out of that. HOWEVER!!! The REAL best girl is Pharo the Proud, the huntress on the balcony overlooking Arlow. Her dialogue and JP voice just _oozes_ "cool big sister" energy. I really, REALLY hope she becomes a Follower at some point, alongside Ayame. They both are constantly talking about wanting to go hunting with you.

The Guildmarm from 4 and Gen is literally in love with Brachydios. Here's a description from a quest that she's the client for: "Those strong arms! That explosive personality! And he's right there in the Volcanic Hollow... Oh, I could faint! Be a dear, Doodle, and give him a wink from me, okay?" Maybe that makes her not waifu material sine she's already taken though.🤔
Preemptively for your Husbando video, the first time I saw the Bahari cutscene, my instinctive reaction was "You're a precious little boy and *when*, not if, *when* something bad happens to you, I'm going to sink this whole damn base." I'll add on another sail to the Hinoa shippers. If you ever do the optional chitchatting with various people you interact with, (smithy, quest givers, etc.) Hinoa has a few lines after the story is said and done where she's sad that you're going to be away from the village for a while but you'll always be her hero. The actual dialogue being: "So, you've added an "AND the Kingdom" to your "Savior of Kamura" title huh? I know we cant keep you all to ourselves, but... You're like a different person from the we all know. Not sure how I feel about that to be honest... Still no matter where you go or what you achieve, it's not like your time in Kamura will ever up and disappear! That's why you'll always be my hero, . So...Welcome back, Hero of Hinoa! Hehehe.
I respect this video. Had me laughing pretty hard. Two things that surprised me was the fact you weren't afraid to say what needed to be said (the phone call) and Luchika. Fiorayne is a highly capable woman who I think would happily retire with you when it's time. Or help train the next generation (i.e. kids) and might be a little strict, but you're there to calm her down. Literally, the MC did it twice without saying a word. Hinoa and Minoto... woooboy. Given that they both have a long history with the MC, it's safe to say one you retire and become village head, no one's gonna object to you taking them both as wife/mistress. It's a package deal if you ever had one. Also, Minoto is a certified "girl next door", which I think those were the words you were looking for. Rondine, while she gives of sugar momma vibes, she's also the best supportive wife. You really can't hate the girl who has the money and finances to hook you up when you need it, while you supply her with the means to get that. Kinda like Bulma/Vegeta rom DB, with the MC being more sufficient. Also, don't ignore the fact she got *connections*, as she serves the Queen directly. She's probably #1 in my book for that.
I feel no shame in wanting both twins and it feels like you have either both or neither, especially when dealing with Minoto. Fio *ALMOST* became my fav after she straight up punched Swamp Satan in the face, but I see how she and Bahari are and I ship them, plain and simple. They both give me vibes of being one of those weird, happy couples that bicker a lot over petty stuff but truly love each other deeply.

She was okay in base rise but the upgrades she gets as a follower are too good to pass up. (good performance, but her expressive personality really shows in the follower quests) Fio and Luchika are still pretty close though
Luchika genuinely scares me. I had gotten stunned during a Zinogre Quest, and it happened to run away. This was good for me because no stun into death. ... *Until I turned around to see Luchika throwing a barrel bomb at me* Yes, I know that's to get me out of stun, but she already threw that thing after I recovered from the stun. She had *zero* hesitation I still worry when she joins me on hunts to this day... 👀💧
As one of the three people who like Minoto more than Hinoa. I can say that there is just something about her that is special and it is also my headcanon that Hinoa is in love with my hunter but that he is in love with Minoto and that Minoto doesn’t care.
Nargacuga being my favourite monster, the first time I entered the gathering hub and spotted just the back of Ayame, recognising the armour... I've been entranced ever since. Also quite tragic how she has to watch everyone hunt and defend the village while she's stuck with her injury. But goddamn she pretty.
Feels like the mark was missed with Rondine. She's neither quiet nor seclusive at all. If you can imagine Fiorayne giving up her knighthood to be a merchant, you'd get Rondine. And that's pretty much the idea. Rondine isn't as headstrong as her sister in battle but just as passionate about her work, thinking of ways to profit when you take her in hunts. As for Luchika, she can handle a gunlance and that makes her the best waifu! Although IMO I like her chemistry with Jae.
The highlight of the video is when "Still In The Dark" kicks in, one of my favorite pieces of soundtrack ever, thanks a lot for the video and the good work behind it

You got the goth girl from the corner at the bar but not the drunk dancing blonde in the middle dancing to achy breaky heart and calls you Pazzy Poo. All in all, great video. I like Fiorayne for the tomboy aspect but Luchika is growing on me because I like Yanderes too.
Rondine simp here, it's the adventurous attitude tempered by calculating maturity. It takes a lot of bravery to go set up shop in a completely different culture and to thrive there. She's clearly capable and willing to take risks while not being overzealous or foolish when taking them. Also, I dunno man, the cape and short shorts boiler suit kinda does it for me.

Dame 'Cash Money' Rondine is my waifu of choice. She's a Knight but she's got that side hustle going on. The fact that she sells pale extracts makes her #1 in my eyes, gf or not.
I wish Minayle had more pumped up personality, and maybe muscles, that'd perfect her as waifu of choice, frankly I liked experiencing Hamon's lore bits more comparing smiths though she is still very positive.
See thing is about Yomogi and Komitsu, and to an extention Iori, I kinda get little brother and sister vibes from them. They give you a sense of moral support when you speak to them that makes you want to return the favor by saying that their roles in Kamura is more than helpful enough to each hunt you go on. And that being said, I appreciate their presence and the support they give you and I wish I can pay them back anyway I can.
I like Rondine both as a waifu and as a follower in hunts. It helps a ton that she's a Switch Axe main like me. However, my #1 MH waifu will always be Sophia/Guildmarm from MH4U, the first Guild gal to have an _actual personality_ that shone through in the scenes she appeared in! I do wish she didn't have a fetish for Brachydios, though. Also, anyone who simps for Hinoa and Minoto...I hope you're into girls with reptile feet, because they're Wyverians, and most of their kind have that.
As a person who both enjoys a good brachydios fight and Guildmarm design, sounds like I truly missed out never getting to play 4U. Also, it looks more like Wyverians have cloven feet like satyrs rather than anything more reptilian.
I've never been a waifu kind of guy, the moga sweetheart back in MH3U had fun dialog but other than that she blended in pretty much like all the other MH characters. And then I met Fiorayne... that fit muscle mommy unlocked something deep in my primal monkey brain and now I see the light. She will forever be my waifu and if they don't bring her over to MH Wilds I will RIOT.
While Waifus are quite the important topic - I'd rather talk about people rocking the seregios helmet and using GG strive ost for their videos, because those folks got a fine taste in both fashion AND music! I'll add on another sail to the Hinoa shippers. If you ever do the optional chitchatting with various people you interact with, (smithy, quest givers, etc.) Hinoa has a few lines after the story is said and done where she's sad that you're going to be away from the village for a while but you'll always be her hero.
The actual dialogue being: "So, you've added an "AND the Kingdom" to your "Savior of Kamura" title huh? I know we cant keep you all to ourselves, but... You're like a different person from the we all know. Not sure how I feel about that to be honest... Two things that surprised me was the fact you weren't afraid to say what needed to be said (the phone call) and Luchika.
Fiorayne is a highly capable woman who I think would happily retire with you when it's time. Or help train the next generation (i.e. kids) and might be a little strict, but you're there to calm her down. Literally, the MC did it twice without saying a word.
Hinoa and Minoto... woooboy. Given that they both have a long history with the MC, it's safe to say one you retire and become village head, no one's gonna object to you taking them both as wife/mistress. It's a package deal if you ever had one. Also, Minoto is a certified "girl next door", which I think those were the words you were looking for.
Rondine, while she gives of sugar momma vibes, she's also the best supportive wife. You really can't hate the girl who has the money and finances to hook you up when you need it, while you supply her with the means to get that. Kinda like Bulma/Vegeta rom DB, with the MC being more sufficient. Also, don't ignore the fact she got *connections*, as she serves the Queen directly. She's probably #1 in my book for that.

I feel no shame in wanting both twins and it feels like you have either both or neither, especially when dealing with Minoto. Fio *ALMOST* became my fav after she straight up punched Swamp Satan in the face, but I see how she and Bahari are and I ship them, plain and simple. They both give me vibes of being one of those weird, happy couples that bicker a lot over petty stuff but truly love each other deeply.

But overall, id say im team hinoa. She was okay in base rise but the upgrades she gets as a follower are too good to pass up. (good performance, but her expressive personality really shows in the follower quests) Fio and Luchika are still pretty close though

Feels like the mark was missed with Rondine. She's neither quiet nor seclusive at all. If you can imagine Fiorayne giving up her knighthood to be a merchant, you'd get Rondine. And that's pretty much the idea. Rondine isn't as headstrong as her sister in battle but just as passionate about her work, thinking of ways to profit when you take her in hunts.
As for Luchika, she can handle a gunlance and that makes her the best waifu! Although IMO I like her chemistry with Jae.

See thing is about Yomogi and Komitsu, and to an extention Iori, I kinda get little brother and sister vibes from them. They give you a sense of moral support when you speak to them that makes you want to return the favor by saying that their roles in Kamura is more than helpful enough to each hunt you go on. And that being said, I appreciate their presence and the support they give you and I wish I can pay them back anyway I can.

FACTS
I like Rondine both as a waifu and as a follower in hunts. It helps a ton that she's a Switch Axe main like me. However, my #1 MH waifu will always be Sophia/Guildmarm from MH4U, the first Guild gal to have an _actual personality_ that shone through in the scenes she appeared in! I do wish she didn't have a fetish for Brachydios, though.
Also, anyone who simps for Hinoa and Minoto...I hope you're into girls with reptile feet, because they're Wyverians, and most of their kind have that.
