Hey Guys - With so many awesome upgrades we felt the ET115 V2 needed its own video! Thanks so much for the continued support! graysonhobby.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=et115+v2
Just ordered the Flysky version yesterday, looks like it shipped and said to be here in two days! Thanks can`t wait to try! UPDATE: It did only take two days to arrive! It bound right up, and with a few minor tweeks in the radio it flies great! Thank you for your fast shipping and awesome service!
I liked the review so well that i bought the 115v2 from you guys. I thank you both for your military service first of all. I want to say you provided excellent service with both of my orders that I have made from Grayson Hobby. Thank you guys for handling the quads that most of us want. Eliminating having to deal with ripoff company's like Banggood & Gearbest that do not care how they ship your items or even if you get the items you ordered. Keep up the good work guys. As soon as i can handle the 115v2 or the tinyhawk is in stock expect another order from me.
I'm new to this hobby/sport & you guys are one of the 1st that I came across when trying learning about #FPV Quadcopters. Your awesome videos are always entertaining, & informative. Thanks for all that you do for this hobby.
Thank you soooo much for your work here! I bought one of these from you and had it flying in no time. I’m a complete beginner with about 4 months of flying anything under my 55 year old belt. I cant even describe how fun this is to fly. I bought the QX7 shortly after my first toy drone lol why wait until the last minute? I tried to bind a snapper 7 with Zero luck after 2 solid days of trying so i just went back to the toys. I can across one of your videos somewhere that led me to your shop. I would have gladly bought the complete set up you offer if i would have found it first. What a great idea you folks have! I really didn’t think i would get this to work but your videos gave me confidence. I haven’t attempted to hook it up to beta flight yet having too much fun without it. I will try at some point though. I bought 2 batteries with the drone and bought 2 more last night from you and I’m thinking thats not enough... I will be back!
Thanks for the great information and videos that you guys post ! Ordered my ET115 V2 from the Grayson Hobby web site late Friday evening, and got it today. Excellent and speedy shipping. Bound with no major issues to my X-Lite. Ran 3 packs through it immediately right in my house. Haven't flown it outside yet, and already know I'm going to love flying this quad ! Still trying to settle on a warning voltage for the buzzer for the best middle of the road setting, but otherwise it's all good. Thanks Basil and Will. I will definitely be a return customer for sure !
A testament to the durability of this bad boy.... I am a beginner, I’ve had no problems binding this to my Q7, setting it up on betaflight and flashing the firmware! I tied before on another quad and it was a nightmare plus I never got the motors started. Back to the durability, crashed it numerous times and I have broken a prop guard but nothing else. I’m trying to learn Acro mode and subsequently power dived it right into my neighbors pool. I saw the splash from over the 6’ block Wall! Since my neighbor wasn’t home, I jumped the block wall, then the pool wall and there it is in the shallow end right by the stairs. I look for a net or something and there is nothing. The water was cold and the shallow end was about 5’ deep. Anyway I take it home blow it out with some air and change clothes. I drive to Walmart for some rice , about a hour round trip. I get home take the top off the drone and bury it in rice( I have heard it sucks the moisture out). The battery recharged and seems fine. Took the drone out of the rice today and put the battery in, can’t believe it works!!
When you said "kit" i was really hoping you meant RTF. There is such a shortage of those around. Hoping the Tinyhawk S gets a rtf kit soon. I am still convinced though that the real buy in cost for FPV drones is 500 dollars by the time you buy goggles, a transmitter, antennas/modules, and the drone itself....this kit would include items worth keeping for years after purchase, instead of junk that you would outgrow quickly.
Itd be really interesting (and pretty easy) to do a comparison between a motor with and without that prop spinner to see if there is any actual heat dissipation going on. I doubt it but id like to see the numbers
I just love to watch all your videos so much great information newbies like me can learn. You guys are awesome. Btw guys, i have a Jumper T8SG V2 Plus coming my way and was wondering if i can bind the Et115 V2 to the Jumper T8SG V2 Plus...?
Mine arrived from GB with bad bearings in the two rear motors. Instead of returning it, I purchased two replacement motors from your website. Thanks for the prompt service. What is the story on the four blade props shipped with the motors. How do they compare to the standard props?
Love your videos keep up the great work I think it's time for you guys to move to San Antonio when's the last time you gave it to our of your shop love to see it
Great Review and the V2 is a nice upgrade. Too bad they didn’t upgrade the camera to a ccd and the VTX should have been upgraded so can channels and power with smart audio. John from Chicago

2 questions: 1) you going to offer a Black Friday/Cyber Monday special price on this? 2) I fly FrSky .. seems like the RX needs to be configured to either FrSky or Futaba .. how's that done? Thanks ...
I am new to quads and this one seems like a good starter for FPV. You mentioned being able to program it via the OSD. I don't do programming on a computer very well. I fly Spektrum or DSMX. Do you sell this with that protocol installed or can you recommend a DSMX Rx for this? Or I can wait for the next video where you will address the DSMX issue. Will I still need to use Betaflight, or can I do this via OSD?
Lance, if you have 2 cells, I would get the ET 125 v2 instead (its setup for 2 cell), and change its jst to xt30. the 115 would be a bit underpowered on 2 cell.
Nice video, thanks! Could you recommend it for indoors? Specially with 2s to tame it. I want something to start indoors that can go about side later in spring without destroying my house or hurting a family member.
Better, as it will be lighter for sure! We have a good customer who takes them off and loves it, personally, i would go with the Diatone 2.5 if my intention was to take off the hoops.
I have a ET115 v1 and since I had only flown a whoop, having the prop guards on this was great. Once my flying improved enough and my confidence with it, I took off the prop guards and put on some Gemfan 2540s which was a really nice upgrade for a few dollars. I really like that I could start with "training guards" and then move up easily. Now my flight times are closer to 5 minutes. It's a little disappointing that you can't adjust the camera angle on the new canopies. That sounded really good. I'm using a 3d printed canopy and also switched to the Micro Arrow Pro camera. Great review!
well I have 2 ET-115's and I have 14 2S batts with JST stock connectors.......hate to hear they are doing away with the older version...can see some great things with this V2.....but really going to 3S with lower Kv does it really perform any different than the older with a 2S and higher Kv ? would assume it is about the same, but also as mentioned in the vid a tad heavier ..... still on the fence with this V2 , as a plane guy i have many 3S batts BUT not quad batts per say....and none with that connector they are all larger...so....would mean more batts to buy.......but will ponder it over the winter months....need to see more reviews and people getting them in hand to see how they do and how well they last But i must say I do indeed Love these ET series quads ........ Hello, Thanks for the great review. Kindly please post a video on how to bind this drone to a Spektrum (DX8 G2) similar to the video on Inductrix BL. I’ve flying mostly rc planes and heli’s, so I am Betaflight illiterate (idiot/ignorant). Thank you in advance.
I got this quad and when I throttle up to the max, it flips in a wacky mode(flips backward in a diagonal) . With anything lower than ~80% throttle, it works fine. What could cause this? Bad motors ?
Thanks for the feedback andGreat questions!! The ET Series are larger 'whoops' and are designed for outdoors, while the GT are the smaller 'whoops' intended for indoors. We have a few samples on the way!
Hi Guys, Great Video thanks for the information on the KK 110 I would like to know are the hoops as indestructible like the first version or as tough as the V1. JohnnyDRC
Hey guys can you explain how you can bind multiple drones to one transmitter. I'm looking at purchasing several emax drones, and doing a few custom whoops. Not planning on going higher than 2S on the models. Looking at doing a ET Max, ET115, ET 125, and about 4 to 5 others. Thanks.
@@graysonhobby Going to be using a Frsky X9D transmitter. Will that work for my purpose. I know its 16 channels, but couldn't find out how many models it would hold.
Hey guys thanks for the video. I am new to the hobby and I would like to practice indoor, I am about to purchase the Happymodel Mobula7 75mm Crazybee F3 Pro since I hear good things about it, but now since this drone came out, im thinking this might be a better buy? Any suggestions ? is it better than the Mobula7?
Not sure they are so much heat sinks or skin ripping protectors. I was running mine in the house and my wife walked around the corner at the same time I was going around the corner and it sucked up against her, the prop did not hit her but the screw heads did and ripped her up, major blood blisters, bleeding, etc. rounded caps would help with that type of issues.
I am flying a little tiny whoop clone and I am using a some budget Google's VR007 by Eachine. My question is can you recommend a good antenna for my goggles. I just purchased a AKK 4 leaf clover antenna that is working ok for now. Thanks for what you all do. God bless
Thanks for watching and great question! It sounds like what you have will work fine for your needs. But...You can try out the foxeer Lollipop, we had great results with those graysonhobby.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Lollipop+
I was about to order the ET-115 and noticed it has free shipping. Do you guys ship them or are they coming from overseas??? Also your site says it comes with 2s but the 115 run on 3s. Is that a mistake and it comes with 3s? One more thing lol. When I add to cart it give a offer for a "free" lipo but when you add to cart it charges you for it. Is the free thing a joke I'm missing lol. Thanks for any feedback you can give me.
@@graysonhobby thanks for the reply. was just making sure lol. Video said one thing but the description of the et115 says it comes with a 2s. Awesome on the shipping part😁 What about the free battery thing?
@@graysonhobby no lol. Checked again and it says 2s. BNF et115 frsky. Doesn't really matter since you said it does come with 3s. I figured someone else might have noticed and ordered from somewhere else. Love what you guy do and how you do your product reviews👊👍👍
GREAT AWESOME REVIERWS ! I REALLY like your channel. GREAT ! I am going to order this and the 6" Diatone from you ! EXCELLENT ! ??? does anyone make a BNF 7" ?
hey so im fairly new to this hobby. i ordered a wizard x220 (im sure u hear this too much) and i am wondering how to improve my range on the quad. i also ordered Triumph antennas but is there anything else that will give me a boost of range?
Your controller is most likely 2.4ghz so its range is about 1/4 mile. The only way to change your tx/rd range is get a module(crossfire,R9,Dragon link) your video is running at 5.8ghz so flying at a higher milliwat will not necessarily go farther just more signal penetration. Basically to go farther you need new systems on different wavelength.
@@sethbryan9074 thats one of the better starter controllers, I fly spectrum, but the cheapest/most used option would be pick up a taranis Q7(around 100 bucks) and a R9 long range system. Crossfire is a bit better but costs more than double. Now remember thats only your controller, your video feed will need help to if your going far out.... It gets expensive to go farther than stock. You'll get a better range with foam wings and planes because carbon fiber is terrible at blocking signal. I have never had an issue with specktrum products, but have never really pushed it, accidentally went farther with my wing then I normally would and still had no problem.
Yes, but you would see a reduction in power from the smaller props, these are 2.3inch props. Also you would need shorter screws as the hulkie's prop hub is thinner.
Grayson Hobby thanks I have some extra laying around because I ordered the wrong ones for my 87mm Baby Hawk the company I ordered from said they would fit but when I got them they didn’t. They made it right and sent some that would fit but now I have these awesome looking props with nothing to use them on lol. Thanks. I order from you guys a lot too. Do you know of a quad these will work on?
@@graysonhobby yes. Enjoyed the video so much. Now if you get your hands on tiny gt7 and gt8, it would really help many decisions before Christmas shopping starts :) I enjoy your channel so much.

A very nice, comprehensive review of the KingKING ET115 V2 (did Kingkong change their name AGAIN? LOL). BTW, I am sure you know this but, you'll get better reception if you change that Invader patch on your goggles out for a Bandicoot Linear patch. It is always enjoyable to watch your videos.

I already updated the firmware, both fc and esc, butthe LED tail light went off. 😂
But...You can try out the foxeer Lollipop, we had great results with those

@@graysonhobby ok thanks. Keep doing what you do.
Watch at 1:00 again
@@graysonhobby thanks for the reply.
was just making sure lol. Video said one thing but the description of the et115 says it comes with a 2s.
Awesome on the shipping part😁
What about the free battery thing?
You are mixing v1 and v2
@@graysonhobby no lol. Checked again and it says 2s.
BNF et115 frsky.
Doesn't really matter since you said it does come with 3s.
I figured someone else might have noticed and ordered from somewhere else.
Love what you guy do and how you do your product reviews👊👍👍
Et115 v1 has 2s
nice job
Do u have the DSMX version? I have the spektrum dv6 radio
The 115 v3 does come with a spectrum option
Do you sell the stacks for the V2 so that the V1 be upgraded to V2 or is it just better to grab a V2?
Thanks for watching - Great question! We do offer the V2 stacks - Swapping out the FC is totally your call! If you can do it - go for it!
Here is the link to the Flight Stack

Does this v2 have a spare uart for a gps?
If you ever fly your Quad to South Africa i will invite you to a real South African Braai you call it Barbecue :) Nice video again thx
Count us in!
Thanks for watching!!
@@williamenglish7599 so what new systems should I look into?
What controller are you using
the one that comes with the x220. i think its the flysky I6. the stock controller so its probably kind of bad
Awesome 😎!
Why is it better than Eachine Wizard? It's possible to change this FPV camera?? It's very bad
I don’t want to order from China, get the Flysky version please!
Thanks for watch and thanks for the feedback!! We have them on order - !
@@graysonhobby "Thanks for watch"? You guys sure sound Chinese 😜
you can remap the uart plugs ir the sbus plug and change it to flysky . i think.
Do you sell the replacement V2 bodies?
Great question - we have the frame kits on order - but we will offer them
@@graysonhobby So, not in stock at the moment but you will have some at a later date?
Correct - Keep an eye on our FB or Instagram page for updates.
How to flash its new firmware update?
no 6s lipos in youtr store????????
Will Hulkie 2040-3 props work on this,
Yes, but you would see a reduction in power from the smaller props, these are 2.3inch props.
I cannot for the life of me bind my Taranis QX7 to this thing
whats a good camera for this quad?

Yummy!
Flies good too :)
@@graysonhobby yes. Enjoyed the video so much. Now if you get your hands on tiny gt7 and gt8, it would really help many decisions before Christmas shopping starts :) I enjoy your channel so much.
Thanks for watching!! We have a few samples on the way so stay tuned!!
Good review 👍🏽
