Does the footpeg lowering make a difference? I recently tried an Interceptor but found it uncomfortable to ride any distance due to peg positions and rock hard seat, I felt I was perched on top of the bike. If this peg kit makes an diffence then I would be tempted to get a used low mileage bike and change the seat and lower the pegs as I think it looks great and the engine is a gem. I'm 6ft 1 with long legs and often find a lot of bike are too cramped for me.
The stock seat is notorious for being uncomfortable so get the touring seat for £130 (it’s higher too) combined with lower foot peg bracket you should get about 2” more room
Hi that pin is called a clevis pin as far as I am aware. From what I remember a cotter pin was used to hold a bycycle crank arm onto the botton crank/bottom bracket. Great vid as usual, a bit of struggling always seems to be needed before a project is completed, lol. I've used a lot of tec parts, and always found them of descent quality, reasonably priced and quickly delivered
Cheers Douglas yes of course a clevis pin...... I remember cotter pins from my pushbike days and you're right they secure the pedal shaft and have a bevelled edge 👍
Very nice and very well explained too ,a job well done and a very good improvement I would wonder how the black anodized version would fair with wear over time . 👌👍
I removed the pegs and went back to stock,I got in a minor mishap and my left peg went straight down! There is very little metal used as a stop on these pegs,at speed if one stood on the pegs to stretch their legs the peg could go down and the results could be fatal.
A nice job well explained. I have really long legs & whilst I have managed with the standard set up, the extra leg room given with these adjustable foot pegs would be a much appreciated mod. Going to have to consider this one. 👍
The levers and foot pegs do look very good. I need a coffee after watching that. ☕☕

Thank you 👍🏻 Yes that’s a good point as those parts get a lot of punishment
Whose first aid plasters do you recommend for cut knuckles 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Will the factory front foot pegs fit ? Otherwise, I have no interest in mismatched from front to rear. Look stupid .

Fatal? Riding any bike can be fatal
Any vibrations from the pegs?
Not that I can tell
