The reason I and many others voted No because it was to help them, to get on with their lives to the best of their ability with the help they need!! If the Voice had got in, do you honestly think the aboriginals would have got more, I don't think so, it would have been the same as before, elites and pollies with their hands in the cookie jar and nothing going toward those that need it. Why do you think is the reason they won't hold a RC, too many would be caught in the net me thinks. And article 25 doesn't even have anything to do with indigenous people....what's that all about?!!

    • @SaintKimbo
      @SaintKimbo Год назад

I agree that it won't change anything, it just highlights the issue of why the hell are we forking out $30 billion dollars a year for?
The 'YES' advocates just want us to forget all about any analysis of why the current situation is so bad, despite massive resources thrown at it, and just start a new thing, 'The Voice', which will be manned by the SAME Indigenous 'Leaders' that have made a mess of things over the last few decades !
Linda Birney has been in the Indigenous Affairs game for about 20 years in various positions, apparently it's been 20 years of failure, according to HER !
When is she going to take some responsibility for the state of Indigenous Affairs, instead of just advocating for something different?

If you want to see how bad the Voice will be, just look at the Aboriginal Heritage Act introduced in Western Australia by the socialist State government. Anyone with land area in excess of 10,000 square metres is subject to the Act before you put in a fence post, remove a burnt out tree stump, dig any hole deeper than a couple of inches.

    !!VOTE NO TO APARTHIED!!!
As of 5 May 2019, there have been 460 native title determinations, with a further 223 native title claims still moving through the system. Currently 40% of land in Australia has a recognised native title interest in it and this is expected to rise to 80% by2050. Does having a ''Black State'' involve splitting the country 80:20? If they intend to have a closed border as they do now in many Aboriginal controlled areas it is a bit concerning just which portion of Australia do they intend to claim? Especially when one considers that ∻85% of Aborigines already live in Urban areas and fully 33% of those live in major centres with ready access to all facilities compared to 25% of the general population, (only around 15% of Aborigines live in rural and remote areas). Surely it's not unreasonable to ask which portion of Australia's landmass they intend to partition? !!!VOTE NO TO APARTHIED!!!

Who does not recoginise that Aborigines were the first people here? Nobody ...
everyone knows that they first arrived in Australia about 40,000- 60,000 years ago ... no one has ever denied that history.

I think that there is no point inviting extreme Lefties on any show with rational thinking people. It is time that conservatives just ignore the Left and let it get on with what it is doing best and that is slowly eat its own stupidity.

The 26th of January 1788 and in every year since in Australia is best factually described as “Rescue Day”.
There is nothing more humiliating than a dingo trying to take control of dog kennel built for the dingo’s benefit when the dingo was not capable of building the dog kennel in the first place!
If someone rescued me from a stale stagnant position of non evolution in which I had been stuck in for 40,000 years then I would be personally surprised if I could not experience any feelings of GRATITUDE?

Debate on the subject is just the game show for the masses. This 'Voice to Parliament' has already
passed. Come on Australia, do you really think they will leave something like this to chance?
In the months to come and on the day of the vote Australia, will probably be in recession, again...
and over 60%++ of mortgage holders in Australia will have defaulted on their ridiculous home loans.
They will most likely be living in their cars trying to figure out a safe place to park for the night from
the teenage crime wave that goes unchecked Australia wide. It is no stretch of the imagination that
voting for Apartheid, (sorry 'The Voice') will be the last thing on their minds.
Yes, it's sick and twisted but you have to admire planning and most of all the timing behind it.
These decisions are by design, their agenda, never left to chance and most certainly never be
left to the will of the little people.
