- Australian Leader of the Opposition Peter Dutton repeatedly called the deputy Speaker Sharon Claydon "Mr Speaker" in parliament on Thursday.
Although Claydon reminded him that she is “not Mr Speaker”, Mr Dutton continued referring to her in that way throughout the speech.

Finally, we see the issue with wealth disparities in all economies, which for the most part is the cause of profit pushing by not only the Uber wealthy but the upper and middle classes, even to an extent the upper lower class too . It seems like he was reading his script too literally/intently without thinking about what he was saying, or to whom. Most politicians will write up a script/speech in these instances, which is perfectly fine. As long as they don't strictly stick to that script and can improvise when needed. Like using the right pronoun if your script assumed you would be addressing a man.
